Hi Marcus, thank you for the feedback. You are right, most of the reviews have been favorable, but there has been one by Cars.co.za that got it "stuck" and had to be recovered. Be that as it may, as a reviewer, people look to them to decide if they should buy a vehicle. If the reviewer doesn't use the right settings in a situation, it can make the vehicle look inferior and dissuade potential buyers. Some journalists actually say, they don't want a handover or read the manual as they want to see how easy the vehicle is to use. Silly in my view. To get the best out of anything, you need to rtfm IMHO 😅

Fiar comments, however all manufacturers have accused of cost cutting at some point of their various models. So, not a standout point re Tank. What matters is its sturdy construction as proven in this video and others where people have rolled the vehicle, but the structure is sold. As for resale value, perhaps but I am yet to see actual data on this. Or do you have to share?

@@TankDrive300 The comment is for Namibia and not Australia. I just drove the Tank 300 and it was amazing. However, on seeing the flimsy and chaotic wiring it leaves me doubtful about the design philosophy from GWM. At the same time, while I was in the process of purchasing the Tank, I was informed that my H6 had dropped its resale value by more than 40% in 2 years, basically overnight. I obviously did not buy the Tank or for that matter any other GWM car ever again.

Well, yes the fuel consumption. It depends. What driving cycle do you drive? Short, stop start, traffic, you looking at about 13L/100. More long distance, some are getting 10.5 to 12. Depends on driving style and accessories fitted. I'm getting on average (school runs, traffic, big tyres) about 13.5. But, it's worth it. Damn, this car is to quiet and smooth because it's a Petrol. I hear the Hev gets a bit better fuel consumption. For me, the overall package is just great. Smooth, quiet and fairly nippy. Go drive one, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Oh, and this car gets looks everywhere especially with bigger tyres fitted. And so many ask to take a look and chat. All very impressed!

Thats awesome mate. I too have had many, many people come up to me while camping asking to take a look. Everyone is very impressed. I just fit 33 inch R/T tyres. Can't wait to hit the trail. What for more info on my build and offroad missions. Cbeers

Yes! They have a version called Tank 330 with a 3L twin turbo petrol. That is something I would trade my Tank in to have! Big wheels and other mods would make it an absolute monster. And they do have a left hand drive for other markets

Its from China, the domestic and middle eastern market versions are left hand drive... i've had my TANK300 for 2 years... been all over China

@@TankDrive300 I plan on getting a 330, i missed out on the initial lottery... but on waitlist for next run, failing that, ill get a second hand... All the modded TANKs you see here in China are actually illegal... its a PIA, I want the 330 beceause it comes with all the upgrades, and they turn a blind eye when you change tire sizes on those...

Talking out your arse... Ive done 60000kms... I've been through some of the highest road passes in the world in the Himalayas of West sichuan... I've offroaded at 4500m high.. I've driven and off roaded across the Gobi desert, the Taklakmakan desert, been over the Tianshan mountains on the Kazazkh Border... and the only mechanical error ive seen was a wiper moter issue on the rear...

Love my Tank. So Lux but a savage offroad. Best of both for sure. Thanks for watching mate
