Honestly I think it was better that Telltale scrapped the dark story in Season 2, but you can tell that it was a last minute decision since the final product, you can see how some of the writing was a little all over the place

I think Clem was supposed to die either way, since it would have been emotionally devastating to the player to sacrifice AJ only for it to mean absolutely nothing at all...

OMGGG i feel so alone when i say that season 2 is my personal fav, although i can admit it isnt the factual best game (cuz its always gonna be s1 🫡), but s2 released really soon after i finished watching season 1 so i went about watching it as the episodes came out and my hype was insane, i still remember how sickening rebecca’s lore was, especially as a kid 😔 and i always hated how ppl disrespected her so bad and her death was so tragic 💔 im glad that they didnt simply get rid of AJ in the ending, as he wouldve just been gone either way u pick which wouldve killed the entire s4 story 😭😭🙏🏻 ugh i can talk about s2 for dayssss

I don't understand not seeing Jane as a whole character. She did more than just be the opposition to Kenny.

I honestly really wish I got to play the dark grim version of this game. Like take me to a timeline where that’s how it ended up being so I can just go through it and then bring me right back here. It’d Just be a really interesting experience I feel. And I really just wish I got to try it because it would’ve been so different man and I just really wonder what it would’ve been like. It’s a fucking tragic, depressing story.

The problem with Luke vs Kenny or at least based off of the story we got, Kenny and Luke fighting, wouldn’t have made sense because their views are pretty similar. Just get everyone to safety. That’s all they wanted. Jane was nuts, but those two just had the same ideology. There would’ve had to been a crazy confliction at some point.

I loved season 2 the most too. There's something in playing a little girl surrounded by horrible things and people fighting all the time that I find so interesting.. Even tho I wish the people around clem would've treated her more like a child and not someone they need to depend on to survive. Yes clem is capable but she's a kid in that game and they always put her in so much trouble. I know they couldn't have made a game without giving us a lot of trouble and stuff to do but at least let the characters fight for you NOT to do these things as you're a literal child The only time was when carlos didn't want clem to go with Luke to check the bridge. THE ONLY TIME I SAW CLEM GET TREATED LIKE A CHILD OTHER THAN THE START WITH CHRISTA AMD OMID. Like all the characters talk to you like you're a kid but they're so fucking dependent on you its insane Yeah she's the main character and the game needs to be interesting but comeon they could've add way more things to make us feel like we play as a kid in an apocalypse. Only thing they do is to talk to clem like a kid but they're dependent on her like she's some kind of a big black strong survival expert.

At the very least we owe ANF some credit for being a game about a Mexican family released in 2016 and it restrained itself from making a cringe orange man bad joke.

All I can say is they could have made season 2 even better then season 1 given the plot they were given. And it's crazy how much they nerfed their own story

My thoughts as I was watching someone play was that Gabe didn't die but was hidden way or was lost in the mines and it would have called back to him asking her can you find Ethan using your powers? She could have spent the time learning her powers and finds she could and found Gabe but 😢 he died

Thank you for helping keep the love of this series alive, with the ending of the game series in 2019 and the end of the show very recently TWD is losing traction fast your a real one for keeping the love of these games alive and continue to talk about it

Hello :) I actually really like Season 3, but I admit I like its cut content even more. In most cases, I understand why things were cut, but in this case, I don’t. Because literally all of the cut content you talked about sounds so freaking cool D: I reeeaally want to get a glimpse into the alternate universe where everything from Season 2 and 3 was actually implemented … Javi being branded against his will already sounds like an amazing plot line! I wonder if Clementine was a part of the New Frontier in these early stages, or if it was changed later? I also would’ve loved to see the Season 1 flashback because all other flashbacks we got previously and afterwards were freaking amazing! Just imagine seeing the first day of the apocalypse from Clementine’s perspective …! As emotional as it sounds to decide Mariana’s fate as a walker, that’s probably the only thing I’m glad was cut, because her sudden death feels much more emotional and shocking, imo. Plus, the game’s finales offered us similar dilemmas, so I’m fine with not having the same one with Mariana :) Out of all the other stuff you mentioned, I was most interested in the item mechanic, particularly how you could give other characters items you previously collected. Sounds pretty cool! Nothing TOO special, but still something I would’ve loved to see. :) Thanks for talking about the cut content! When it comes to more TWD stuff, I think I’d be interested in theories the fanbase (and you!) had during and after the series. :) To be fair, I’m not sure if there is much, but who knows? I bet there are still a lot of headcanons :) Until next time :D

It's actually the opposite for Me, I was excited that I ain't playing as an 11 year-old girl anymore but as an adult, I no longer have to struggle with every walker and I can actually fistfight hostile survivors unlike Clem who goes down after a smack to the face by Carver, I was actually looking forward to playing as an adult in s3 and it turned out correct, though, I was expecting Kenny to be the playable character instead of Javi and that Kenny would get to a community and shave His beard like Rick Grimes, looking pretty much like how He did in s1

I wish the story was darker.

I actually like this season a lot. I wish they either kept telling the story in another season or spinoff or something because I grew a liking to all the characters and I thought Clem did a good job being "my clem"

Of the 4 TWD games, season 2 is the one I dislike the most by a long shot. Which is intersting to me because I LOVE Kenny. I am firmly in the "Kenny did nothing wrong, always trust Kenny" camp so the ALL of the moments Clem and Kenny have with each other I find so powerful and I love them. Even so I almost hated this game because it felt like my time was being wasted. In Season 1 when you saved a character, those characters would contribute to the story in their own unique way before they finally died. In Season 2 nothing you did ever even felt like it remotely/slightly impacted anything. Characters you saved would literally die in the same episode in one case. It makes it impossible to be willing to replay because I find the only character I can bond with is the guy from episode 1 and Kenny.

I think they didn't make Troy the main bad guy because he seems much more vicious and sadistic than Carver, with the possible SA thing as well, he would be just a comics Governor rip-off lacking substance.

Season 3 was cut so much , remember this season was going to be on ps3 and xbox360 for the logos in the trailer of the E3.

And taught Clem a few useful survival skills. 16:32 look I didn’t Rob Arvo last night in my gameplay and yet he shows up goes to rob me and says I robbed him. I specifically didn’t rob him for a reason because I knew we were going to run into them and end up with that problem again. 17:10 also I gave up my gun to Mike and Aron still shot me 😩 Yeah We just finished season 2 last night for my 2nd time gameplay. Which we’re Doing a Episode Ea Tues - Sat night at 8pm. 20:36 And In my ending, I just walked away from Kenny. Kenny was still alive when I left at the end which was a really sad moving moment man.😢 So far I’ve played 5 Telltale Games in the past Yr and one of my subscribers sent me Game of Thrones To play Next.. The idea of putting clementine in a situation like the one brought up with Troy, wasn't the first Back in the first game at the Dairy Farm, one of the brothers made comments about missing summer around their house because little girls used to run around in their little dresses. The other brother cuts in saying he can't have the girl, clementine, because they needed to focus on who they were keeping for meat storage

I’ve never found the hate for this season. Sure it isn’t the best but I personally liked the story (except for the forced romance with Kate) and I agree that there should’ve been some sort of spinoff with them because I always find myself wondering what had happened to them.

Here’s a little fact about Mariana’s death that wasn’t mentioned in the video. The developers commentary for S3 (which you can easily find on UA-cam) revealed that the player was have to gonna choose to save either Mariana or Gabe but this was scrapped due to most playtesters picking Mariana than Gabe.
