      @Hossak Aw, thank you 😊. I took a couple of months off because of the hot weather. Then I was undereating. I'm going to get started on an unsweetened protein powder. I got back on creatine, and it has been an absolute game changer. Just the bulk supplements bag you can get on Amazon. I've been on 20,000IU of vitamin D a day, and my super smart doctor says he wants to see my levels between 100-140ng/dL. Regular doctors think that over 30 is normal, lol. Should I start doing short videos on what I'm doing to heal myself? How've you been?

      @@AnnLaustsen87 Great to hear that you are focusing on your health! I am turning 54 in a few weeks and I have never been stronger thanks to my weight training. I work in a processing plant as an engineer with heaps of stairs and I fly up them faster than I ever have and a whole lot of other things. I follow a similar program to you but I have tailored it to emphasize not getting injured or too sore and that seems to be working. So do what you feel is right, take control of your training and get stronger and go forward. For me getting stronger without injury has been the key. The great thing is that going slow and steady, you will continue to gain strength for decades to come. Go get em!

    If you're interested in powerlifting bench press I'd suggest you learn the back arch Leg drive And foot positioning in a bench It made my bench go to a whole different level

    You should raise the hooks to a point where when your elbows are locked at the top, you can move the bar straight back and set it down. Never rack the bar with bent elbows.

    I also started from this!! After a more than a year, I've reached 87.5 kg x 3 in basic deadlift + x3 sumo. I really hope You won't end trainings. I will belive in you, Anna!!!

    That raced up! You have a good setup there with the safety bars - maybe bring them up a notch? Bench press is the most dangerous gym exercise out there.

      @Hossak It's a low weight so I wasn't too worried, but I'll raise them when it gets heavier. I was just irritated when the bar kept hitting the safeties. The Rogue power racks have closer holes, so you can dial it in better. It feels good to get back into lifting!

    Good dept and form. Make sure to use the stretch reflex, the natural bouce out of the hole. You'll learm how to utilize it as you squat more over time and as the weights gets heavier. Great work. Proud of you 🫡🔥❤️

      @@dcallins Hey there, I use the Adidas adipower shoe. I think in this clip, I was too lazy to put them on for the press. I like black. I would also be partial to Lidia Valentin's green and pink shoes. I wear a women's 11 US.

      @dcallins I'm starting back up again myself. I'm doing 3x5 on the first 3 lifts and then 1x5 on the deadlift. I'm also going to add in curls, skull crushers, and lat pulldowns. For all the work I'm putting in, I wanna actually look like I lift lol. The number on this overhead press is way too conservative. I can do 20kg, but I'd be stuck for a while.

      Oh absolutely. I have really long femurs and have to be careful with how much I go up on the squat.

    Interesting. So you shoulder press about as much as you bench press. Personally I suck at shoulder press, can´t even do half of my bench press weight.
