Restoring An Old Generator - Bret & Becky
Restoring An Old Generator. Coleman Powermate 5000. This generator hadn't been started in about 7 years. It had been sitting outside in the weather all of that time.
The generator was free because someone didn't want it. It retailed for about $800.00 when it was new. Our investment was less than $100.00 dollars.

Making A Camper Boat - Bret and Becky

Camper Boat. This is just a short video of a 17 foot, 1976 Glastron Boat that we turned into a camper boat. This boat was in pretty bad shape and it took us about 4 months to complete. The idea was to camp on the boat when it was warm out, or camp on the riverbank when it was cold when we would need a campfire. We wanted to go a little faster than a pontoon houseboat, but still be able to sleep...

Pretty easy to see which way you guys are leaning towards between the two.
love that accent!!
We have this same tent is it works amazing. Used it for years. Even took it to camp all through Iceland for 2 weeks. Best tent we have ever owned.
oh yeah just what I would want to be sailing up shit creek in!.
I thought about making raft with barrels. My thought was to fill the barrel with marine foam. I like your design.
FYI, I've read, the LXE model has an adjustable rear trunk, with fore and aft movement!
Just watched this again. Absolutely wonderful job. She looks beautiful. I am sure that you it gave you all many years of great memories <3
Great video explaining each step. 👍 How do you turn off the music
I like to Suzuki, but I love God bless your day
This wideo was Very helpful. Thanks, brother.
How did the luan hold up? Looks like 5 yrs now
Look like a good job keep up the good work Cajun land Church point Louisiana👍
Try comparing the Cavvy to a Kawi from the same generation like the KZ1300 dresser from the same decade. The plastics are the same quality. I know, I replaced the first Cavvy engine in the midwest that had porous cylinder heads with a # 3 engine from Brea the same decade. It was a Kawi and Suzuki dealer so I'm familiar with most of them. Unless you are paying 20,000 bucks or more ANY plastics from the last 15 years is CHEAPER and more flimsy than the '80's. Kind of like comparing the steel on a '57 Chevy to a Cadillac CTS from the current era. No comparison!
Oil the chain links. Not the sprocket, it will see the residual oil from the links.
Do they even make the suzuki cavalcade?
Maybe torch down roll rock roofing over that metal roof?
where did you buy the tire with the rim? i have one and am having trouble finding the right rim. can find just the tire all day long but not the right rim.
RIP wow crazy, they should open up the case . plenty of cold cases that they opened up again
I loved this video. Beautiful and articulate overview of all the features and common sense employed in bikes of yesteryear versus a modern machine. Loved your ending. God bless y'all!
I take off my helmet to you guys. That's not riding weather. I would have stopped within 15 minutes on that ride. Enjoy your riding though.
Man that lake is low
Just got my hitch attached to my vaquero now I have hook up the wiring and figure out the 4 plug to the 5 plug on my Bushtec trailer
Very nice comparison..thank yall
Weight considerations? I've read that authorities don't care how you reach load limits, but the house build itself may exceed the total limits..... How have you dealt with it?
I’m watching this after Bret passed as well. I have always done home haircuts too but I was a cosmetologist so I’m lucky lol😂 but this is such a cute video ❤ love your cooking show, Becky! We also share a first name 😊❤
Hi, how can we contact you for business inquiry?
I'm a little confused why you are comparing a bike (calvacade) that has not been made in 35+ years? A better comparison would have been the OLD Voyager or even the old Yamaha Venture, much more similar in style.
That axle is so small and in such bad condition it would make SO much more sense to order a new one online. SMH
i wish i could find this tent i so love this set up
How funny it is that you open the video "we dont usually film in the kitchen" ...a few years later, a few hundred videos later and almost a million loyal subscribers...i'd say youi have officially conqured the mastery of filming in the kitchen 😂
I tried to follow the hitch link you showed, but it is no longer active. Too bad.
Tuba 2s.... Tuba 4s😂😂😂jk love the boat
I too acquired a JD LA145 tractor that had been neglected and abandoned. Took me a week or so to get it back to running. It had everything from a locked up starter, to a completely destroyed fuel system, flat tires, mouse nests, and a carpenter ant infestation. I ordered everything it needed, and it now looks and works like a new tractor. I work in nuclear power, and we had a motivational speaker come and tell us his story about his blindness. Short version, he had gone hunting quail with his son, and his son accidentally shot in his dad's direction when the quail took flight. Ths distance between the two of them was enough for the shot to not be fatal, but the bird shot shells imbedded in his eyes. Had he been wearing safety glasses, his eyes would have been protected. His statement in closing was that he and his son laughed about the other hunters they had seen on the drive to their location that had been decked out in the hi vis orange clothes, and hats and how ridiculous they looked. He also stated that he now lives in a world so dark, no one can even imagine it. It really hit home with me, as I have had some really close calls in my life with my eyes as well. I'm required to wear safety glasses at work, I have brought that habit home to implement whenever there's even a remote chance of an eye injury. I have a wife and family that depends on me in so many ways, I owe it to myself and to them to protect my eyesight no matter what any youtube video says.
Pay for Odrama care!?!?! WOW suckers you both are!
Save money to buy more Alcohol it looks like... because its just the christian thing to do???
where is good place for parts?
I am thinking of making something like this but as a camper and keeping it on land to stay in, I’m not sure if it’s possible honestly but this gives me hope that it could be
Seasons Greetings I just bought my son one and it needs a inner tube ... Did you buuld your tire changer or bought it from somewhere??
Thanks for the review. I bought a similiar tent cot last week from a brad called Ridgeway I think. Looking forward to setting it up. I live in rainy Oregon so I will pay attention to sealing the seams on the rainfly.
I have a 2nd gen 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Venture v41300 ... you should try ride one. It looks like a mix between the 2 bikes you have.
Did it as a kid in '72 in a big Chrysler wagon. Love to do it on a cruiser.
We lived in the Charlotte area for about 8 years in the very early 2000’s. While there, we took several trips along the Parkway. So beautiful! Absolutely the beauty of God’s handiwork! We went up on Mount Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain - my husband walked across the walking bridge but I wouldn’t dare! Ha! We truly love that area and would love to go back! But we moved back Texas to be near our daughters and families. I really enjoyed this! Takes me back!!! ❤️🙏🏻
Nice bike
I n short the Kawy had more room for the driver and the Suzy has more room for the passenger.
Very well presented and detailed. Thank you, sir.
Finally I got my itch after a while looking for it on ebay . I'm going to I nstall it and use your vide for gidense . My motorcycle is a vaquero but it should be d same principles
Why not use a 12 volt bilge pump to pump your water? There's no lights, but less to go wrong.
Was that Coloplast 30$ a sheet when when you were building?
I got couple axles that got overloaded and are bent just like yours I believe I can do this also to fix mine Thank you very much for posting this
Oh my i love this
