The time has come for me to experience the true world. I thought that I would be weak, but it turns out that the baboons are no match for my dark moon roundhouse. I look forward to the day that we can peacefully enjoy coffee and shrimp together. Maybe then we can perform the crab secret without limitation. Until next time,

thank you, but to be honest the title is misleading: these mods have so many requirements that in the end you have to install more than thirty mods, some of which are complicated to install correctly.
Cool 👍Would love to see what Lux, Lanterns II and Embers XD would do with the atmosphere on this setup - but that's three more on the list so... 😁
@@CaptainCrumbs I originally had lux but it broke when I updated it and I couldn't figure out what was wrong :/
@@CACTUSFINGUH Yeah, that happens every now and then with mods. And when you finally manage to get everything the way you want it without the game exploding Bethesda throws an update at you ruining everything 😁

Did you have issues with Mythic proportions tree mod? I read on mod page in comments it was not the best option. I love how it looks though! Also, the Marshlands? What would you recommend? Thanks!!
I haven't had any problems with Fabled Forests. The trees it adds to the marshlands are a little out of place so I'm currently looking for a mod to replace them, haven't settled on one yet. I plan to make a video with the full modlist once I finish it.
AWESOME can’t wait for a follow up! I needed something like this to build a Paladin restoring Skyrim build! Then I was going to add quests.

Few mods but get the job done, good work
great theme with only 8 mods! community shades really helps with that look and it looks great. I know the goal was only 8 mods, but there is a mod called darker nights, which makes it basically pitch black and I think it would go perfectly with this look great vid
Cathedral weathers has a setting that makes nights and interiors darker, which I enabled. The thing I like about it is that you can see at night if the sky is clear, but it's pitch black if it's cloudy.

How do you get it to run at such a high framerate? I have a newer card and it still chugs at like 25fps in Balmora and 20 in Vivec. Or rather, how do you get OpenMW to actually use your GPU instead of CPU?
Having a 7900xt and an i5-13600 helps, but I also have a lot of optimization mods. Morrowind has terrible mesh optimization, so if your game is running poorly it could be due to a mod that has added a lot of large objects or NPCs. As for getting openMW to use the GPU, I don't know, I've never had any problems with that.

What mods?
Very epic mod, zero boulder gravity, no ability spawn, no size caps, bopl guns (wasn't working), extinction meteor, explosive dash, and explosive arrows.
bopl guns you press 1 or 2 but they dont kill or anything they are kind of scuffed. saddly none of my mods

@@CACTUSFINGUH should have added loose platforms also at about 2:30 the reson it broke is you strunk it so much the thruster sent it way to far away from the map. when something goes like a milion units out the game breaks

the lighting and shadows feel so off and uncanny
using those perfume bottles and still losing is the biggest skill issue
I did this fight with the perfume bottles but I hadn't found that skill in my playthrough so I had bloodhound step instead lol

I don't like the camera angle. Just because ESO did it doesn't mean its a good idea, I hope there's at least a toggle to have a normal 3rd person view where the camera is directly behind and above the player model instead of at a weird angle like that.
You can turn it off but I prefer it that way. Skyrim and Fallout did it too...
@@CACTUSFINGUH Thank God. I hate that angle with a passion, and it's the reason I never moved on to the Special Edition of Skyrim where they added it.

Not quite. Most of the graphics mods like the shaders and enhanced textures will drop fps to unplayable rates, and many mods that edit the UI don't work because it's different than PC. However, almost all other mods will work. Better Sounds, MCAR, Graphic Herbalism, Familiar Faces, Containers animated, Vurt's armor and weapon retexture, tree replacers, and similar mods work fabulously. I hope this helps and I strongly suggest you give it a try.
The moving grasses is just crazy. I would disable this completely. They look out of place and ruin the overall look and feel of the game.
I'm really impressed by what people can achieve with Morrowind's graphics. It's fascinating to see how they can transform the game's visuals with mods. The problem is that you guys don't provide download files for their mods packs. This makes it difficult for players to experience the amazing graphics that they show. Every time I decide to play Morrowind, I end up playing the original version because I can't find a mod pack for graphics that has a download file.
All of the mods I used are in the description. I didn't put links but you should be able to search all of them on nexus.

Looks beautiful, but the filter ruins it, by being too dark, contrasted and gloomy..Turn off SSAO for a frame boost and cleaner look..

This looks great! I really need your Zester's shaders setup details! I was too stupid to adjust it the way I wanted.
The most important thing is to load godrays and most other effects after volumetric fog so it looks realistic. But if I remember correctly you gotta put ambient occlusion before it, or else dense models will look too dark.
Looks great, damn the soundtrack takes me back. Might have to play through again soon😅
I'm curious, have you done anything special to make it look so smooth? As in no weird stuttering when moving the camera around. Or is it just cos you have a high powered setup?
I have a very good setup but there are still some mods that caused stuttering. If I find one that causes it I just remove it. So, yeah I suppose it's mostly due to my setup. If you're having stuttering issues just remember that it's likely caused by meshes, rather than lighting.

I think the tree mods I used just came with scripts to make the leaves move.

it irks me when graphical update mods add foliage to areas that are clearly meant to be walkable, for example the entrance to the Census and Excise office. that part is walked through by people and guards in heavy metal boots all the time ,there should be no shrubs and ferns growing in the way
The problem is that the grass is procedurally generated so it will never be perfect. Personally I prefer having some grass in strange places than no grass at all.

I wish someone would make a replacer for all the armors. I can get the terrain and scenery looking PERFECT but the armor still looks so low resolution
Vurts weapon & armor replacer are pretty great

@@JaymzGames I use those now but texture replacement isn't enough imo. I want models that look as good as I can get the rest of the game looking
