Savoy Truffle (Naked Version) - The Beatles
A "naked" version of Savoy Truffle without Chris Thomas's excellent sax arrangement. I've "recently" gotten a pretty good guitar isolation so following the other stripped back naked edits this is just the bare band instrumental elements. Just a fun mix to highlight the guitars that get overshowed by the saxes.

Deconstructing One After 909 - The Beatles Rooftop Concert (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 25 тис.День тому
Back with another song from the Rooftop. One After 909 is one of the most fascinating songs since it's the only song that was properly recorded in two different eras. The song was originally written in early during the Quarrymen period from the late 1950s possibly around 1958. It was one of the first Lennon McCartney collaborations although mostly written by John. The song was first put to tape...
Deconstructing Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey - Paul McCartney (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 2,7 тис.14 днів тому
Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey started it's recording on November 5, 1970 for Paul's 2nd solo album Ram. Like many songs by Paul the song was stitched together from unfinished song segments. The orchestra was arranged by George Marin. The song was recorded state side both in A & R Recording in New York and a studio in Los Angeles. The thunderstorm sound effect was added by Eirik Wangberg who also ...
Deconstructing I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams - Weezer (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 29014 днів тому
The only song from the original concept of Weezer's sophomore album "Songs from the Black Hole" to be fully conceived. The rest of these songs were either scrapped or reworked for Pinkerton. The song features Rachel Haden as the character Laurel. In this song she sings about rejecting Jonas the main character in the scrapped concept album. Karl Koch said that Rachel nailed the song in her first...
Deconstructing Happiness Is A Warm Gun - The Beatles (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 2,8 тис.14 днів тому
Happiness Is A Warm Gun was written during the Beatles’ trip to Rishikesh, India. The song featured a finger picking style John learned from Donovan or possibly Gypsy Dave. It was first demoed in an early state heard in the Esher demos. The only words John had at that point were “I need a fix” and “Mother jumped the gun”. The song was finally completed and started to be recorded on September 23...

Here Comes The Sun (Naked Version) - The Beatles
Переглядів 97 тис.21 день тому
"Here Comes The Sun was written at the time when Apple was getting like school, where we had to go and be businessmen: 'Sign this' and 'sign that.' Anyway, it seems as if winter in England goes on forever; by the time spring comes you really deserve it. So one day I decided I was going to sag off Apple and I went over to Eric Clapton's house. The relief of not having to go and see all those dop...
Deconstructing I Want You (She's So Heavy) - The Beatles (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 37 тис.Місяць тому
A one of a kind breakdown of one of The Beatles' heaviest songs, I Want You (She's So Heavy). The most detailed deconstruction you'll find for now. History: John first brought the song to the Beatles on January 28th, 1969 during the Get Back sessions. It wasn't until February 22nd that the song was properly recorded during a session at Trident Studios rather than their usual stomping ground of ...

All My Loving - The Beatles (Paul's Isolated Harmony Vocal)
Переглядів 5 тис.Місяць тому
A quick isolation of Paul's overdubbed harmony vocal during the verse of All My Loving. When double tracking his vocal Paul follows original vocal take until the verse after the guitar solo. This is where he harmonizes with his original vocal. In live performances George would perform the low harmony vocal which can be heard isolated here: drive.google.com/file/d/1Qqz9yQEOvufDalQZ2kR5S7riMy0smY...

Deconstructing Golden Slumber/Carry That Weight - The Beatles (Isolated Tracks)
Переглядів 2,3 тис.Місяць тому
Since they were recorded together I decided to do both at the same time. The basic track for both were recorded back to back on July 2nd, 1969. John was absent as he was recovering from a car accident. There were 15 takes of the basic track with Paul on piano, Ringo on drums, and George on a Fender Jazz VI bass. The following day two take take 13 and take 15 were edited together to create a ful...

I love this music)
Why did they keyboard sound like the song itself but in low quality ..
The best Jojos one yet👍👍👍
Damn the vocals.... So smooth
Dude this is so cool.. What software are you using? Is it free?
I use Msvep.com and Lalalai. Msvep does have free models but they're not that great. So to get the most out of them you would have to pay for credits.
I have a feeling it was Paul who played the solo.
John & George, the greatest and most influential guitar duo ever in my book
One of the engineers said, this was the last time they really got along together in the studio.😢
Great work‼️👍
The old Beatles harmonies brought back to 1964. That's why I love this so.
Since " Revolver " it was often that McCartney would do his bass track last in recording. He would do scratch tracks, then finals last.
It was song dependent a lot of the time he would still do bass on the basic track that would be used in the final mix. Especially the later 68/69 period the bass wasn't overdubbed often.
Ok. If you say so. Thanks for posting!
Can you provide a link to download the flac file, like your mix of Martha? I'd appreciate it very much, I love your mixes
Sure here's a link: drive.google.com/file/d/1-tANZZScDyZoSBVluDbEP8jHSqPaoM-k/view?usp=sharing
My goodness, Billy's precision is unbeatable, although it is an easy part it's perfectly executed.
9:32 what is the low harmony saying?? sounds like "hairy fuzz"
I like this naked version, but I think it would be better with additional Harrison guitar in place of the space left by the absence of the horns.
ryos voice is so angelic
Where’s the clothed version?
George.. wow.
All four very talented on their own but together amazing. I was very young when the Beatles came onto the scene. I had older brothers and sisters when they were at school I would play their 45s. I think it was Saw her standing there and I want to hold your hand. To begin with and even at that age I knew I found something and loved and their music ever since. 60 years or so. Would usually scratch a record or mess up something then get delt with when my siblings got home. What a great time those years were.
8:37 knock on the floor is crazy
i love how in the ''bam bam knock on the door'' part, rivers is sorta just mumbling
One of the songs from 'The White Album' I had always skipped over... until I came upon this "naked" version. Talk about a miraculous redemption. George Martin should have put his foot down once Sir Paul got to this point and shouted "No more overdubs... this is perfect!"
Ringo was amazing in the 60's!
Georgie broke out the wah for this one. Nice
They should have done this on the rooftop show. Obviously John could have played rhythm guitar and Billy P. Keyboards. Next up, the "naked" version of "Glass Onion."
and Cold Turkey with only vocals, drums and bass👍
Masterpiece, George ❤🇮🇹🤘
Excellent work! These details are so useful and interesting✌️🙌
This is NOT Ringo. I don't care about logistical circumstances, you can tell just by the sound of the kick drum compared to EVERY other Beatles track in historicity. If it's not Paul on the kit then it's one of the roadies or some other drummer hanging around the studio popped in for a take.
I don't think it's a good idea to compare the sound of the drum set as that is mostly about how it was mic'd rather than who played it. That would be more about who engineered the session. This isolation also isn't the raw multi-tack so has artifacts and the production along with it. It just makes more sense it was Ringo. The only given reason that Paul played drums was that Ringo was filming. But if Ringo wasn't filming then it was him.
kudos to Ritsuo Mitsui who arranged and fully turned this AKG's song into Kessoku's, especially with that guitar solo part, giving Bocchi her time to shine
Thanks, George. Seriously. Effing magical. The world is a better place with this song in it.
YOPPI THE ROCK!
Gorgeous!
Wow. Billy Preston is magnificent. What a pity his part is buried in the mix.
Voices alone are also A MASTERPIECE …
Proof that perfect recordings don’t make great recordings.
This is cool but it really shows how much those horns make the song.
I disagree. The horns overpower what is a great effort by the band, ruining the song.
@@jun6174wrong
The horns destroyed the song.
Without the voices...they are the music makers.
Yoko...bitch. John, you're fired
似ても似つかないね全く
47:00 is a cursed image
A strong argument there to not have had the strings on the final release
What was Harrison thinking when he implanted those meaningless horns onto this track? They took 'The Beatles' out of it (maybe that's why?) I used to prefer the mono mix over the stereo mix of the conventional 'Savoy Truffle', but this re-mix is now my choice!
They're mixed too loud and feel intrusive. I honestly prefer it without them.
What an excellent bass!
I've never heard that Hi-Hat pattern on any other song.
They could do this live ! No brass ! .... John on Keys .... Sounds great .
I have never heard a piano in this recording.😗
John wasn't the only great rhythm guitarist in The Beatles.
I never liked this song, but I really dig this version! I wish The Beatles had released this instead. (Nonetheless, George could have improved the song immensely if he'd spent more time on the lyrics, rather than just spilling out the names of things to eat.)
Exotic chocolates, related to longing and eventual suffering; an interesting rhythmic scheme and some clever rhyming, and a shout-out to Paul---I think the lyrics are ingenious. 👍
@@Daberney Everyone's entitled to his own opinion. Thanks for offering yours!
George wrote this for Eric Clapton, and he was teasing him about his sweet tooth, about how he will get cavities and be in pain. "Youll have to have them all pulled out, after the Savoy Truffle" - Its an hilarious song.
@@detroitfunk313 Thanks. I didn't know that, although I still find the lyrics trite. Nonetheless, the unleashed power of this naked version makes up for it. I could have lived very well with this version!
And Glass Onion has more shout outs to Paul
