Youth Hunt 2024 (Daughters First Deer)
Took my 11 year old Daughter out for her first every youth deer hunt. We were also lucky enough for her to harvest a little button buck. No kill shot. I had to choose getting the footage or talking her through the shot. We had an amazing time. We could not have been more pumped. Thanks for watching!

Perfect explanation. What size rope is the hollow block? Same as other rope, smaller? Knot used for tying hollow block?
Its a 6.8mm hollowblock. Its a sewn loop you dont tie it.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Step by step girl over here. You don't know how helpful this was!!
They can be a pain. If my buckle fell off Id have to rewatch this video lol. Thanks for watching.
It's really cool!!!She's gonna be a great hunter and a cool little girl!😄💞👍
She was so excited
Pretty cool congrats to her
Congratulations on your deer that’s awesome
She was very excited
@@TheHunter46176 that’s awesome
It was a great experience
@@TheHunter46176 awesome glad to hear w
Congratulations
Thanks she was pretty pumped
She had a great shot placement! Great job young lady!!
Straight through the heart. I was super impressed.
What if there are branches midway up the tree?
The way the setup works your pulling the knot end down. The tail end has no knots so it slides over the branches.
A little later to find this but thanks for the great video! Saw Zach with this setup on THP couple years ago and thought it looked pretty slick. Finally got my saddle stuff together ahead of season this year so looking forward to trying it!
Yeah thats who I got the idea from
Love the video! Please be careful with fingers under your weight baring lines, I have seen a few degloved hands in the Operating room, not an easy recovery!
Yeah that has always been one thing that I try to watch out for! I need to get the TAU from innovating the outdoors. That would solve the issue. Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much
@@brendagonzalez5245 no problem
Is that a yes or no? I’m new and i don’t know how this works. Thanks
Yes you can
Can you put inside your coat or jacket to keep warm?
I do quite often. My jacket has a chest pocket that sits right over my heart. I just put it in there. Could always wear it on a lanyard around your neck let it hang inside your clothes.
I love the idea, and Kudos. Other than the fun of repelling, it seems like I could install 4 sticks in the same amount of time. Whatever works, though, if I was 20 years younger, I think I would try it.
You so serious as you do that!
Im focused lol. Plus only got 1 shot lol.

Thank you for your support and wonderful products. They really saved me this morning. It was very cold.
@@TheHunter46176 We will definitely make Ocoopa that lasts better, warmer and longer!🧡❤ Best wishes to you All the best~
Thanks for the review mate. I am kindda a bit confused to buy either OCOOPA U3 pro or UT4 . Any suggestions?
Depends on what you plan to use it for? My personal opinion is get the UT4 pro. Lasts a long time, and fast charge.
@@TheHunter46176 everyday use. How's the ergonomic? I've read it's hefty and uncomfortable to hold. Is it true ?
@Sammmy1991 honestly everyday ergonomic use. UT3 pro. If you have no use for the flashlight or dont need extreme heat mode. UT3 pro is very slim and ergonomic.
I've smoked marijuana in my ground blind and it has never affected the deer. I've had a doe and 2 fawns come within 10-15 yds of my blind after taking a few hits.
I believe it
Strong work!
It's absolutely amazing to me that none of the big treestand companies have not done this. It's really a needed addition to the saddle hunting world. I had heard XOP was going to do this a year or two ago but for some reason they scrapped the idea. I recently purchased a Panther quick climb and it is great! I'm really looking forward to using it this season
I tried it once with a climber bottom. It was a disaster lol. Broadside made it perfect and designed around all the headaches. It was an awesome product.
Did Pitboss recently add 5 degree increments? Mine only goes in 10 degree increments.
Not sure. My smaller one goes in like 25's
Great video man thanks for posting it. Ive been saddle hunting now for two years and im.hooked. I'm 50 now and tried the one stick and I'm hooked. I went one EW site and was a little confused at all the options. If i wantws thw set up you have is all i have to select is the aider and pouch and thw rest is as you see it? My total the way i did it cam to 404 seem right?
Yeah that sounds about right. I picked the ultimate one stick. Angled UP and ultimate lower step. Mine is the 12in version. Thanks for watching!
Great Video especially when shooting it solo. I use pretty much the same process except I use my rappel line to raise and lower my bow and a couple of other little differences.
Thanks for watching! Im going to redo an updated one sticking video. Now that I am a couple years in lol.
Good demo, about time somebody actually did one with limbs all the trees. I climb have limbs. Quick question why didn’t you just stay in Hunt? You said you were on Public in muzzleloader season you had your bow and fresh scrape underneath
Seems cool! Is it a good price tho? Especially if you get stuck in a bad location (lots of trees limbs) and need to just use it as a stand? Thoughts?
I felt like it was very well made. Limb hopping seemed like it would actually be pretty easy.
Is that the Phantom or the Phantom XL???
Regular
Dude that looks sick, the orange topped it off 🤙🏻
Thanks
I climb very much the same way you do with the exception of the delta link. I’ve been using the running Boline knot for the past 2.5 years. It comes down perfectly every time as long as you clip your drag line to the rope and not the rope loop. I am in the woods all year long preparing and I always have my one stick with me using the running bowline knot. Never had a problem. This eliminates the deta link or quick link and what ever device would be used to hold them in place. What a pain. Nice video👍
Thank god, one person who explain how to use this stupid strap 😂
Yeah they can be difficult at first lol. Thanks for watching!
At 60 Im trying this out for the first time this year. Thank you for an infornative video for excellent reference... 👍
Awesome. Thank you for watching!
Nice. Just took out 2 briskets ourselves from the pit boss 🎉
Im gonna have to use your sausage recipe now. Ive been dying to get a real smoker. Cooked 60lbs of pork in 17hrs.
I know this is off topic but whats the most comfortable saddle u have sat in ?
Probably the buzzard roost, a stretch tx5 lonestar, or the venatic.
@@TheHunter46176 cool
@michaelconley6245 I tend to like bigger saddles, but everyones different.
Rather be safe than sorry lol
Lol yeah no doubt
Lol man I can't believe I missed this video. I'm about to do that to my stuff now
Yeah its an older video for sure lol
Nice tip man
Works great on your non velvets
What length is the back up loop? And have you tried using a sewn in eye as an auto block? And what diameter are you using?
I bought the 19, but the 13.5 would work too. Sterling 6.8mm HollowBlock2 Loop a.co/d/1j4uMki
@@TheHunter46176 thank you, I am using a ditsel friction hitch for my repel and it has been slipping only when I need to remove my stick so I want to try a back up.
Very well explained thank you much, God bless
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help.
Awesome video! Thanks, man! I feel much more confident now, especially since you showed how to use the autoblock and other ways to backup the device. Thanks bud!

I had the same smoker mine would have almost a 100 degree difference in temp to what I set it. At 250 it would run 350 if I kept the water pan full at all times it would only be about 50 degree difference. Make sure you keep the water pan full.
