wish she would release this along with simple, the box diamons, a cup of coffee and her versions of long shot which is far better

I've known Katy's demo (not 'version'!) of this for a while and loved it; this and an old video in which Katy holds Sam Sparro's CD up to the camera made me curious enough to listen to Sam's whole album which, of course, is fantastic.

Sounds like the song is about Ororo Monroe, Agent Storm, of the X-Men, who has powers to blast enemies with lightning. If Storm availed herself to military uses, she would command a whole front with her powers, and likely supplicants/celebrants would flock from afar to see her and receive her blessing. "All along the eastern shore, put your circuits to the sea"? Her powers of electro-kinesis are so great that she can blast the ocean and charge devices along a whole shore? Storm could probably do this... This song is about Storm?
