Rebirth probably, but you can't get a dlc for rebirth before the previous dlc anyways
Repentance goes hard. The only thing that I wish they would add is the item description as an in game setting to toggle on and off instead of having to download a mod. This is because console has no mods and it would seem easy enough to do.
I can see why the wouldn’t but it’s a better option then having to look up every single item on the wiki and trying to remember that item the next time you get it.

No, especially since Wrath of the lamb was included in Rebirth, Afterbirth, Afterbirth+ and Repentance. And OG Isaac and Rebirth are two different games sorta.

Super late but repentance gives you everything however OG isaac aka wrath of the lamb and before is literally a different game so buy repentance and if u have a swf file opener wich is free u can get free swf file of binding of isaac from internet archive (not that im sayin u should pirate it but its an option)

I like afterbirth but when I got Isaac I couldn’t find any guides that weren’t repentance which personally pushes the dlc higher for me because I went in blind rather than daddy UA-cam holding my hand as I couldn’t afford all the new dlcs as they came out

I've had fun with runs that aren't straight up op but some people don't like delayed gratification hence why souls games are a niche genre.

This game is amazing!! I just got it for consoles since it launched for them finally. The new enhancements in the audio and graphics are welcome! Buuuut the new crazy items are awesome as hell!! I got some lightsaber last night?! Has to be a Zelda reference with the swords! :D

I want to buy repentance and that would be the first TBOI game i ever play. I don't really care about how much is good *compared* to the old ones, this review was more a comparation to older games of TBOI and not how much is good the game as a game, can someone review the game more generally?

@@zeron8419 you can buy it physically as a single game vs a DLC add-on though, and it changes it enough that a review stating if it's a good game or not on its own could be helpful to newcomers
