Encomiable la labor de Silvio de llevar la cultura hasta las puertas de los que no se pueden permitir el acudir a un teatro para disfrutarla. La cultura es un derecho al que a nadie se le debería restringir el acceso. Llama la atención lo heterogéneo de su público. Niños y mayores coreando al unísono: "Hay que quemar el cielo si es preciso por vivir, por cualquier hombre del mundo, por cualquier casa...". Prueba inequívoca de que la cultura une y derriba fronteras. Tal vez por eso ha habido siempre tantas reticencias en universalizarla, y tanto afán en manipular y prostituir los contenidos que se nos enseñan en las escuelas y en los medios de comunicación.

So, I know I’m about 2 years too late with my comment, however, for what it’s worth……. As a guy born to love every style….. I have embraced composing melody driven jazz ballads!! But, thankfully Mr. Brown; your sheer love of life and concern for humanity and its circular home, your intricate word play revealing your cemented adoration for our beloved country……………and …. To my unique surprise, I didn’t know of your deep intertwining adoring fascination with Latina music!!! To here you and my NEW friend “ BETO “ ( as I just subscribed) go on about the gracious talent in this genre brings tears….. and goosebumps to my soul!! I’m rather late to fully honor my craft as I got sidetracked for over 40 years ( in a cult religious group that banned free expression). Soooo, as of 3 years ago, being no longer religious, yet I do hold a devoted belief in a God….. one who always admired the Artistic nature of all mankind! My hope…… is to finish my book, adapt it into a screenplay for a animated 30 minute short expressing to the young kids the beauty of owning your talents…. Spreading them throughout the globe……. and feasting universally on the literal AND aesthetic harmony that binds and bonds all humanity. Have a gorgeous jazz album due out around summer 2023!! It’s my first so naturally I’m excited! If I only learned ONE THING from Jackson Brown…… it’s to…… reach far down inside of us…… and bring up the flowers……… and…… give them AWAY….. freely……. I'm living in Korea, waiting out Covid explaining to my wife, from northeast China, about the differences between flamingo and ranchera, and how good a surfer Jackson Browne is..... our night ended up listening to Nico and her version of a song written by a California teenager, followed by a Vincente Ferandez classic movie from 1983. Been a huge JB fan for over 40 years. Still am. However, I disagree with his bias and observations that the last admin was the most corrupt..... Interview was 2 months ago, I wonder if he still thinks this new admin is still doing great? Truth be told, it is amazing that one can simply overlook the Russian Hoax, the denial of bias in the MSM, and the suppressing of conservatives 1st amend. rights by FB, Twitter, and YT. I suppose that is okay with JB. JB could have been a voice of unity and reason, but instead he made himself known that he's against all those Americans who voted and supported the last administration and still do. I wonder how this division will ever be over, probably never if people cannot agree to disagree and call out evil for evil.

Jackson, I used to anticipate every new album; your lyrics reflected the arc of my life with your gift of poetry and story. And the jackets, the artwork, exquisite. Beto, KPFK energized and radicalized me. Blase Bonpane and the Office of the Americas were instrumental in my faith journey.
