JWDS Epson XP 15000 DTF Conversion EASY
There are many ways to convert a stock Epson XP-15000 printer for DTF (Direct to Film) printing, but this is by far the easiest.
You can find helpful links, below:

Epson XP-15000 Driver: epson.com/Support/Printers/Single-Function-Inkjet-Printers/XP-Series/Epson-XP-15000/s/SPT_C11CG43201 (Make sure you download the driver, by itself - you don't want any additional Epson resources, piggybacking their way onto your system)

tip you can get the roller out without breaking the tip if you push the print head over close to right then lift up on the print head lightly will lifting and pulling the roller from the left
This isnt a conversion video its just removing a bar. Useless video
So you need to remove the whole bar where you just broke of the black bracket....????
Yes. You just need the roller bar gone and that's it.
Quick question on removing the plate. Do I need to put it back in afterwards? On the subject of reconfiguring the printer with a new set of DTF Catridge. I have purchased auto-refill cats, would I be required to get the third party firmwire at all?
question i have is do use the regular ink or can you use the catridge that your going to use with dtf ink
hi, could you create a video with the firmware installation and the rest? you were perfect in your description.
I downloaded the chipless firmware. After it was finished, I put my new ink cartridges in with my dtf ink and the printer is telling me to "insert ink cartridges" like they aren't there. Need help?
one of the metal peice fell in when I took off the screw what should I do
can i use the remanufactured ink cartridges to for epson 15000 to reboot it for the first time? i lsot the original cartridges that came with it.
So cool. Thank you
The store is closed…
wixht printerhead is installed ?
hey whats your number?
Also is the external waste management necessary?
It isn't. It's just an extra step people like to do because one person said it was mandatory but it isn't
HEY whats a rip?
RASTER IMAGING PROCESSOR (software)
new at this! conversion video was great. question i need a chipless firmware tutorial and a good quality RIP brand, can you assist
How did you get it to print white for dtf
You have to do the firmware he didn't go over, then it goes into the grey spot
You have to do the firmware he didn't go over, then it goes in the grey slot
I skipped using the original ink, any advice on how to proceed?
Could I jus ship and pay you to do this?
If you aren’t comfortable with the process you can email us at sales at jwdigitalsupply.com - we offer a variety of services, including hardware conversions.
CAN YOU SHARE THE VIDEO FOR THE CHIP SET UP
These vids suck. I tried this once and it messed up my printer
This video would have been great if you would have continued with all of the steps once you finished converting it.
There are no more steps. You just remove the rollers so ink doesn't smudge and add dtf ink to refillable ink cartridges.
So with this method, there is no need to waterproof the printer head?
Hi, my epson xp15000 printer isn't recognizing white ink. Could you please help me with any recommendations?
I removed my roller first can I still do the initial install with the carts or did I mess up my printer ?
You should be fine!
Thanks!!!
Great video! I have an et-2760 also do i have to take that off my computer to use only this printer? I will need the other one for tumblers etc
I’m working on doing this conversion today- my printer came with a dvd and it’s not mentioned in your video- do I need to use it? Thanks!
Can print in wite color?
When will your store be opening back? Cant purchase anything
We have been restructuring after the new year, and we are getting close to relaunching the store (as well as dropping all new DTF videos to help answer more questions for newer users)!
Thanks fast and easy
What rip software do people use after
I don't get it y why can't just get universal refill ink cartridges and just install the cartridges since it's new n not do all that hassle
This video is good and not. UA-camr does not share what steps to take after printer is done. I noticed some of the comments below not getting answered . 1. What kind of ink do you purchase. 2. Where to download firmware. much more
All of that is listed in his description with the links sooooo…
😂😂 i love my black queens the spice n sas was fasho real 😂 @marionblack257
@@marionblack257but its not tho
ummmm where are yall looking?! I clicked more and boom the links and labels on each. 🤷🏽♀️
@@urbaneducation3223Maybe you should do a youtube usage tutorial i bet youll see it then
Really great video, appreciate the clear and to-the-point instructions.
Can cadlink be used with this? I purchased an epson et8550 which I have returned because it was crap and I still have the cadlink program and I thinking about investing in this printer here.
I didn't have to break those brackets, though. With the print head about midway, I pulled both ends up and it slid right out.
BY FAR the fastest conversion I've seen! Thank you!
You don't have to remove the bar completely.. Long nose pliers will pull the wheels out on their own.. Leaving the bar in place..
Why does that bar need to be removed?
It doesn't. You only have to remove the wheels. With long nose pliers.
What about the ink? This ink is not DTF compatible
Thanks for the video. I followed to a tee. I installed chipless software and ink cartridge's. Then I installed cad link for my rip software. Something is off it either printer a little red and nothing else or nothing at all. Any ideas on what I might try? I tried several prink head nozzle checks. I did a couple print head cleaning, I took the ink cartridge's out and cleaned the undersides and ran a paper towel under the print head still nothing.....
Just a question, why do you need to remove the rollers? was just wondering
Removing the rollers simply prevents them from streaking the wet ink. When printing as a stock unit, the paper is dry before the rollers make contact. However, with DTF ink and film, the ink is still wet when it passes through the rollers. Removing them can eliminate the streaking which would normally occur.
Dope, why would someone want to convert their printer to DTF if you don't mind me asking? What are the perks?
Damn your dumb with your questions
Hi! I have seen plenty of videos that it's not enough what you are making. They said I need to unlock the inner artist also need to take off some other parts from the printer.... So what do u say pls? Is it enough to take this part off what you are showing in this video or i should make other steps to be start the DTF printing? Pls answer ❤
Can it be use on any color shirts
Yes. But make sure your dtf powder is for light or dark colours..
Does it have white ink
So you don't add the dtf cartridges to begin with you use the original that came with printer ?
I asked the same question and the answer is that the ink of the original carts is not DTF, so what they have been doing is removing the original ink with seringes and somehow cleaning the carts. Then they inject DTF ink into carts.
Do I any special software
How did you remove the ink cause now I have the ink that not DTF in my printer
Simply put in the new ink supply system and run an ink charge or a series of cleaning cycles to move the new ink through the print head.
