Uffa...Well, for those who don't know there are two types of equipment: 1 - When you disconnect the main one, you go into free fall again and then commands the reserve. 2 - When disconnecting the main one, the reserve is activated automatically. For some reason, one of the two risers did not detach from the parachutist, causing the main one to get tangled up with the reserve one.

These skydiving places should have a air pad 😂

The most dangerous thing after such landing is to say "I'm good" and to start moving: u never know if it's adrenaline or you are just fine.

Hats off to the guy saying don't move. The amount of adrenalin in that guys system will be off the charts and he won't be able to feel broken legs or anything.

You did well to resolve that mate! And i have some empathy with you landing on the runway. I did the same following a malfunction over Sek Kong many years ago, long story short, i landed on back risers and like you just missed a grass landing after a low hook and hit a concrete runway 😮

Freehubs are usually replaceable when they break and the way to replace them is by taking the axle out and using a 10mm Allen on the hub and turn it counter clockwise then the freehub can be removed and replaced. Btw most freehubs are around 15-30$ depending on which type you have so it's fairly inexpensive also watch a tutorial on how to do it in case you're confused.

When everything is going in bad direction you even fall on concrete just few meters from grass. Anyway great save, you were very calm and is what saves you. Did you continue skydiving after this?

A License holder here with 81 jumps and this video has me emotional, seriously. Besides one line twist, I've never had a reserve ride... to go through experience would be absolutely terrifying!! I can't imagine the fear I would feel even just _watching_ someone fighting a 2-out like this all the way to the ground. Glad you are okay man... that could have been so so so much worse.

The first guy did the exact right thing, no matter how ok you feel never EVER move after a fall/impact like that- in those moments you’re going to have crazy high amounts of adrenaline going through you which can completely mask pain and/or injuries. Always call 911 and wait for them to come and stabilize your neck and spine. It can be the difference between a couple months of physical therapy or never walking again…
