Alarm systems require a level of reliability that HomeKit, due to reliance on Wi-Fi Home Hubs cannot provide. At best, Alarm/Security systems should only be integrated into HomeKit to the extent that HomeKit is only a means of additional control such as setting the status to Off/Home/Away, not as an only means of communication or notification method.

I am having an issue where when Siri is speaking the good morning text, it sounds very gittery and distorted. Almost like when you’re losing cell service during a call. My wifi and everything however is very strong. Any help??

I can't connect the detector. when I press the detector for a long time nothing happens) . can you tell me if the blue light appears when we press for 5 seconds even if we do not have the Hub in pairing mode. This might help me find where the problem is coming from.

I feel like an idiot for asking this but I just don't seem to get what is the function of the hub here, i want to buy this motion sensor but the hub i have or the one that is adviced is my apple tv BUT the apple tv is really far from the sensor so I'm not sure if that is a bad thing, I mean is the sensor working via wifi??? my wifi signal is perfect everywhere but I just don't understand how this works, i just want to use this with homekit and receive both notificactions and automations

When I install that I allways get just a Pop up that Show a „Text“ file where nothing is in it. I also Tried other version Like the one in the video. But all end up same. But like a month ago it worked normally, And suddenly it just show that file. Anyone has same Problem? Any Solution ? Thanks
