Hey. I make videos on things I like. I love video games, anime, manga and stuff like that.
How would the Future Gadgets in the Steins;Gate visual novel be made in real life?
I finally finished the Steins;Gate visual novel 4 and a half years after starting it. The story hits hard.

That Judgment (2018) Feeling
Переглядів 3152 роки тому
THIS EDIT HAS SPOILERS Judgment (2018) is one of my favorite games. It has an aesthetic that is just unlike anything else. The beautiful sights of Kamurocho and the smoky filter of the game allow for some amazing shots. The story is a slow burn(in a good way) and executes the feeling of being a detective very well. Seeing the plot unfold and all of the clues and pieces come together is very sat...

Best character in everything.
Im glad I wasn't the only one who thought Shinada's life is similar to Truman's! great edit
Thanks!
real asf
Imagine going to the batting center and seeing Shinada in 8
One can yume for this to happen.
I wonder whatever the fuck happened to him or to that police guy from 4
@@alihordaTanimura is still a cop as far as we know. Shinada went back to Nagoya but I honestly hoped he got a better paying job since he was flat fucking broke. Man I wish these guys came back…
@@alihordaShinada returns to Nagoya in the end of 5, we hear the conversation. Honestly he had his story tied with a bow, he doesn’t need to return, Tanimura on the other hand… got cucked given the story of 6, like bro wtf was he doing in regards to Little Asia or ANY of the residents we knew from 4.
@@arsenal4739actually, in Yakuza Dead Souls, some civilians say he was dragged out of the force. that game isn't canon through, so nothing confirms if he's still a cop in the mainline games or not, but that and the dialogue in Yakuza 5 before the Amon fight is the last we ever hear of Tanimura.
bro dropped the hardest shinada edit

Driver is literally me. An ordinary man working as a welder, reserved nature with no close friends. Although I'm not that attractive.
I think Anton characters relate to those who felt that they need to follow a certain code of rule in order to manage their life, and often these people when they're not following those code felt something wrong and then bad things happened.
Paul Allen is literally me!
The First game that did this was definitely Metal Gear Solid. Checking your memory card, making you think that your PS1 disconnected or something (the famous HIDEO screen). Of course, it wasn't a full horror game, but that whole psycho mantis section was definitely horror themed and probably inspired a bunch of these
great vid
Can you please do a "me video" on guts from berserk?
There's a free game hidden in the depths of Steam, and it's pretty cool as it knows who you are and your game history too. "When the darkness comes" it's pretty cool and scary, you should try it!
Amazing video ❤
I like these movies and I'm glad you and other UA-camrs found a genre name for them but the only literally me character that I'd say I'm like is the narrator from fight club.
The closest I can think of for literally me is the dude from the big lebowski which is funny cause he used to be my dad. Guess you really do become your parents
Did he mix a mean Caucasian? 🍸
@@fridge3489 nice. Na just cheap beer. Oat sodas? :)
and, ICYMI, Sean Bateman is Patrick's brother in the great film adaptation of BEE's novel, Rules of Attraction, a low-key literally me character [and, ironically, literally me]. well, Victor as well, but that's another aesthetic, BASED hedonista + narcissism. .
Honestly I disagree with what you say about American psycho. He isn’t a victim of the conformity we’re forced into: he is the exact embodiment of that conformity. He is the need to fit in and he even tells us this at the beginning of the film - “there is no Patrick Bateman, only an abstraction”. Watching the film, or better still reading the book, and thinking of him as a cliche rather than a human provides a much better idea for what Ellis was trying to communicate
This video is about me
Very good analysis I know a lot of people make fun of this trend or jokingly refer to characters as 'literally me', but I believe that behind every meme and every _sigma male compilation #52_ there is a degree of honesty, which is why I think movies of this type are really important. First an important thing to get out of the way is that 'literally me' is a phrase exaggerated for comedic effect. It is not that people view the characters as actual versions of themselves, but rather that there is an aspect of these characters that makes them relatable or allows on to empathize with them. These aspects, as everyone surely noticed, are different negative emotions- loneliness, alienation, insincerity, fake personas, (paradoxically) inability to empathize with other people, a desire for affection etc. Expressing these emotions through characters in a film allows us to be more aware of them, to start to think about why do we feel a certain way, where does this feeling come from, whether it's telling me something and so on. But perhaps more importantly it almost creates a sense of comradery in showing that you are not alone and there are other people that too feel this way and are misunderstood, which in turn also allows one to cope and reconcile with these emotions. My 'literally me' movie was Into the Wild. It's a good movie by itself, but before watching it I was certain that I am the only person who has this burning urge to leave everything behind and just run away into the woods, living exclusively off my own fruits of labour. These thoughts were so bad that I genuinely thought I'm mentally ill for a long time, and perhaps I was. But watching this movie was such a catharsis, if you've never experienced this then you would simply be unable to comprehend it. It's like a literal boulder was lifted from my soul. Finding out that the main character, based off a real person, shared these same struggles made me feel so much more calm, and after finding other people who enjoyed this movie and felt the same way I was actually able to finally reconcile with myself and subdue this desire. Important to note is that this experience didn't kill it, but made me able to control it. I'm still obsessed with self sufficiency and I still get the urge to run away from my problems and to never return, but the difference is that now I don't have to do so to feel whole and happy, and that in spite of me being unable to do so I can still find things to enjoy in life and be happy
This world is fucked up and that’s just something to accept
The Nightcrawler soundtrack is awesome, very underrated. 🔥
These characters are the male equivalent of Wednesday Addams for basic western girls.
Lol. I like the old Wednesday by Christina Ricci, but yes, she (at least the new one) has been adopted by real basic b****es.
I knew this scene reminded me of something...
For me, the 'literally me' trope represents the goal. These are characters who have at least a somewhat difficult life, but find a way to do something, anything, to rise out of it. It's a mental, as well as physical, escape from the dull, depressing cycle of life.
Yes I'm the Orange, the Clockwork Orange
Any girl watching this? I know these movies appeal mostly to men, but there's sth about literally me movies that i find so captivating, i love watching them
Good content keep it up, just buy a better mic
A thing to note; fiction blurs reality. "I literally wish I was half as cool as them" everyone is infinitely cooler, than some... fiction.. some lie :D where people act... most of the world is fake and we can only see through a mirror darkly, without God's help.
I'm literally leon in the beginning of racoon city on ps1 like legit literally that is me.
I think my personal favourite "literally me" character from film is 'Dfens' from Falling down. He's not particularly cool, but I really related to a lot of his reasoning in the film. It's cathartic to see him say "no, this is how it should be!" And cause destruction and mayhem in his wake because of this. He rampages through bullshit and it feels great seeing him right the 'wrongs' in reality he sees. But the best part is how the film gets you. You get on board with this protagonist, love all the violent acts he does, get a great vicarious power trip from his actions, then the plot twists and we see just how barbaric and selfish he is acting. The film tricks you into relating to the guy, only to show us what kinda person actually does that sort of stuff. It makes you feel the ugly side of all the cool violence this guy commits, what it truly means. It's a beautiful subversion of the power fantasy protagonists, and I think tries to warn us against the glorification of 'the man who won't take it anymore." The line at the end of the film "I'm the bad guy?!" It's just brilliant.
a interesting take in the neo nazi scene in a comment section like this, is that D-FENS is looking at the abyss.
Idk why people call Bateman a sigma he kills a dude who has a better business card he’s def a beta
The core of the literally me joke is that all these characters are mentally insane. Imo the point is the feeling of slowly losing your mind just like in Joker
Idk whats going on but i love how ofter ive been hearing thank you by dido and the kingdom hearts song its so pleasant
def need more of these videos
catwoman batman returns is my literally me character, losing her ambitions due to a shitty job and establishment, then dies(not literally me but) and can only survive fueled by her rage and craving for revenge.
Because they are losers
i’m wondering why Baby Driver isn’t thought of as one of these movies and characters. Maybe because Baby isn’t a doomer? I see that movie as super similar to drive but also a little different because Baby isn’t lonely. idk. i think it deserves more recognition
That intro tho..
subtle anime knowledge flex
Because it’s funny
Nice soundtrack
It’s just edgy teens tbh
