Goodbye Butlins and Skegness
This was our final day in Skegness after our midweek break in Butlins 2023. Ebony and Jensen were really sad to be leaving Butlins as they had had a fantastic time. We did visit Fantasy Island before heading home, and whilst we didn't get much footage we had an absolutely fantastic day and would recommend a visit.

Butlins Skegness Day 4: Balanceability, Skyline gang dance and High Ropes

We had a fun filled day on our second to last day at Butlins Skegness. Jensen started the day at balanceability where he got to try the balance beams and learnt new skills for his balance bike, and even got a certificate. Day 3 of our midweek break to Butlin's Skegness. We started the day with Jensen doing Tot's football, which Ebony also joined in with. Dino breakout Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor had a dinosaur breakout event at February half term, and when we saw it advertised we knew we had to visit as Jensen (and mummy) are dinosaur mad. Pumpkin bash at Drayton Manor

We decided to go to Drayton Manor for the pumpkin bash this year. We started the day in the new Vikings land where the adult's rode Thor and Loki and the kids had a great time riding the horses. Last year we decided to visit Haigh Hall for the day. The kids had a lovely time finding the bird hide and watching the birds. We then explored the grounds, played on the park and had some lovely icecream to finish off our day

For the Easter break we spent a night at the Drayton Manor Hotel, which is classed as 4 star. We decided to stay in the Thomas and Friends Room. Our first trip to Southport Pleasureland

We decided to visit Southport Pleasureland. This has old fair ground rides, and you buy a wristband to ride all day. Jensen was under 90cm and so we did not need to pay to get him in, however he was able to ride a huge variety of rides and I feel that he actually got the most from the day out. For Jensen's 3rd birthday we decided to visit Legoland Windor Brick week event for the opening weekend. We had stayed in the Hotel and in the morning at breakfast, characters were around so the kids got to hug Lucy from the Legoland movie. After breakfast we headed into the park. We decided to book a surprise visit to Legoland Windsor to celebrate Jensen's third birthday. We booked an Adventurer Room using our Merlin Annual pass. We visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Monday 6th September 2021. Our main pulling point for visiting, is that there are a number of rides that even if the kids are too small to ride, they can ride with an adult. Wow he actually held her! This is the first time I’ve seen a cast member actually carry a guests’ kid like usually they just touch their hands or cheeks. I’m shooooook-he must really like kids 😂
She has actually been held by Mickey Mouse, Cinderella and Prince Charming and Snow White. I was shocked everytime they did but was an amazing memory

How easy was it to book swims amd shows? We go in 2 weeks and we are worried as seen lots of negative reviews
Hi it was easy to book, just make sure you check your junk for the email. Also if you dont get a show dont worry they have a standby line and we also foud a couple of times were were in the standby line and I was refreshing the app and managed to get tickets to get into the show. Also swim sessions (especially the later ones) become available. For example we were finishing dinner at 5:45 i went on the app and a 6 oclock slot for swimming had opened ip. Also you can only prebook 2 swimming slots but once you are on site you can use the app to book more.
