We were on a school trip going to the Met from New Jersey in the mid 90s. I was a card myself back in the day and we saw her on the way back home in a school bus. She was sandwiched between two big gentleman who I assume were staff of hers. I screamed out the bus window, "Joan we love you!". She was startled and pretended to fall backwards and then started waving to us. It was the best school trip i ever took. Hahaha

Tony was such a class act. Such a gracious, humble and respectful human being. Everyone else was making fun of her, but he treated her with the respect she deserved. I'm so happy Amy got to meet her idol and record with him before she died. RIP to both these legends.

How I wish I could understand the other half of what she says. That was the only time in my life I've seen Jack Dee laugh at a joke. So what a hell of an achievement that was for her -- no other comedian has ever managed it!

My nephews used to watch stand up comedians and used to laugh very loud but never understood why. So one night I watch Joan Rivers short video then I found one of her special,I laughed so much then understood what stand up comedy was. From there on I started like some stand up comedians.Joan was my favorite one, I miss her.
