Clearly the sirens haven’t proven enough of a warning. It really calls for an announcement that tells people ‘Emergency Vehicle Exiting’, and that’s how you know it’s bad. People need everything spelt out for them

That's true, so many dicks in London thinking fuck the fire engines coming out, I'm not gonna stop 😮 In my area,Herts,big stations have the 'traffic lights "to stop traffic but some idiots don't stop , I've seen a collision, when a bus didn't stop ,bus and fire truck both badly damaged, female bus driver prosecution & sacked!!😮

@@gazbrucia1654 The video doesn’t really do it justice, but as I was filming, I noticed the vans going rather fast, and they blasted the bullhorn when they saw the machine pulling out. Close call indeed!

They need to turn up to a shout in a certain vehicle formation with the TL in the middle, or the TL first as it needs to find a suitable space to park, to then operate. Unfortunately they can’t just leave as and when they please. I understand why it might look like that though, thanks for watching!

Aww spoilsports...half the fun was scaring pedestrians turning out from Euston, Manchester Square, Soho and other places.... I even used to enjoy it before joining the Brigade on the LAS.....😅😅😅

Good spot, it must be otherwise it would have been announced. I think it’s activated manually because the bay doors are also opened for other reasons, so you wouldn’t want passers by waiting for the machine to leave when instead a firefighter has popped out for whatever reason. @@TSEmergency We had a yard to drive across before we got to the road outside the station and people still walked across as though we were not there. I was certain that one day we would flatten some person. Fortunately we didn't. 😁😁

Thanks! I’m not sure about fire appliances, but I have definitely noticed quieter sirens on police cars. You can’t seem to hear them until they’re extremely close, but it varies.
