Brother me again i need help with temps i dont use a cooling pad and my gpu temps are easaily reach 86C and throttles. in the video i see your temps are no way close to 86C are you sure its cooling pad hold your laptop under 80C on gpu? how are your temps when laptop gpu pulling 175 watts without the cooler? Have you tested in a cool room with max fans in this video?

Good review but the pixels per inch doesn’t affect me as much as he says I play valorant all the time and I love it. And the ppi doesn’t affect me one bit while I’m in higher rank lobbies.

I just bought this laptop this week and it's coming on 6th May. I got it for 2,149 dollars (2,320 after taxes) and it's got the same specs as yours (gotta love the 64 gb ram) and also the cherry MX mechanical keyboard. I am also gonna place an order for the cooling pad as you mentioned that might be needed in your other video. One question, did you have to change some things in the bios to achieve this performance or is it stock settings?

As for the thermals there's a couple different... Well.. technically there's an infinite number of variables but the key things to focus on are on the bottom side of the laptop there's like a foam ring that creates a seal and significantly limits air flow (can only assume this is to keep out dust certainly a noble pursuit) however I'll take a little dust and some extra cleaning versus running my hardware needlessly warm and nerfing performance not to mention accelerating degradation of hardware so cooling pad can help but if you don't have a cooling pad just make sure to lift the back end of the laptop up quarter and a half an inch or so so as to let fresh air in... Also check for any large variance intense on your CPU from core to core.. for instance if you see one core running at 77 c and others running at like 97c could have a dry or basically uneven thermal interface material situation on either the CPU or GPU... This can be very common on just about all laptops from the factory and can also happen over time depending on the thermal interface material used... So if you're comfortable follow tutorials open up the laptop and check the thermal paste application if you are not comfortable take it to a professional or a friend who's a professional you can destroy your hardware if you're not careful... Other things to do are to make sure you keeping your fans clear of dust your vents clear of dust and that your system hardware is in good order basically...(Your ambient temperature can play a big role in this as well) Next things you can do is look online for your specific laptop and specific hardware config and follow others instructions regarding undervolting/overclocking of both the CPU and GPU.. on this specific laptop you can do both I believe because the AMD HX chip is unlocked and basically all in video gpus can be undervolted and or overclocked.. also dell/alienware (definitely applies to this exact laptop m16r1amd as well)...Dell/AW are notoriously bad for bloatware and inefficient software.. a lot of people seem to hate Alienware control center and say it hogs a lot of resources causing your laptop to run slower hotter and kill battery life all at the same time.. so do your own research online some options include a fresh Windows install or uninstalling dell/aw bloatware including control center (look into overclocking undervolting your CPU and GPU first because if you dial that in apparently and then uninstall command center your settings will stick…obviously if you uninstall it though and need it back you can reinstall…. Not 100% on this exact laptop but throttle stop is a well-known highly respected CPU management program for undervolting overclocking the CPU, or disabling turbo features and or parking cores (these laptop CPUs are ridiculously overpowered in 95% of use cases including games) so some people Park their ecors to boost performance while cutting thermals and increasing battery life on the Intel versions but do your own homework of course... If you do all that and still having problem with thermals might have to drop $100 on a top-of-the-line cooling pad as some of those can drop temps anywhere from eight degrees Celsius all the way up to 20 to 25° Celsius. The gt-600 line has many different options and is regarded as basically the best or maybe tied for the best cooling pad... Search on Amazon runs around $100 many different models by according to your need. Ideally you want one that can plug into the wall so it doesn't suck wattage from one ear USB ports unless you have extra power to spare that is (but if the cooler is pulling 15 watts that has to come from somewhere if it's plugged into a USB port) If you've done all this and you still have thermal problems may the good Lord help you because nobody else can 😂

Hello bro i just ordered this machine and i wonder if did a good thing or not in that 8 months space you found anything odd or broken on that laptop like throttles after a few hours of gaming etc?

Im using the 45GR95QE and it's the sweet spot for me. Here are my takes: - 3440x1440 doesnt stress my gpu. - More immersive than my 2nd gen G9 due to the better height of the screen. The G9 just felt like a 27" monitor to me. - Does not auto dimm as much as my LG C2 which was very annoying. - OLED is just a plus. I would get this even if it isnt oled. The 45" 3440x1440 is just what I really wanted on a monitor.

Laptop gaming is still garbage in 2024. But it's getting closer to becoming decent at best.

I have both but I would not tell gamers to get the g9 as most of game do not work with 32.9 21.9 is best for over gamers as more games works with that

For anyone having issues getting the character models to look right. Open the Data folder and look at patches 8 and H. They should look like this PATCH-8.MPQ and patch-H.MPQ Both patches should look exactly how I've spelled them above. Good luck in Azeroth ;)

Every piece of showing skin on characters turns black and al the hair turns green, I've been trying to get it fixed by fiddling in the config file, but I can't seem to fix it. What do you think is the problem? I've solved it by not including Patch-W and -X, but that's just because those graphics isn't included then right?

Hey there. I seem to have some weird glitch regarding blood elves' (at least females) hairstyles. For some reason, colours reset themselves and certain hairstyles have only two available colours. Alongside that, DK's flying mount has a weird model where the gryphon's head was swapped for a bunch of human heads. Any suggestions?

would it work if I just added the patches (newer character models) without doing the reshade and vulkan stuff before that? only interested in having the updated models

Did all this like 20 times with models no models reshade no reshade vulkan dx9 what I found out is that the game works best on dx9 just the classic game with no mods. Dx9 is more stable then vulkan. Vulkan has constant fps shifts like from 60 to 300. Also the part where he starts with reshade then copy dx.dll files those dx files are needed for reshade and you just overwrote them oh and also select vulkan when installing reshade for the dll file compatibility. If you follow the steps like this when you finish reshade will not work.

Can you suggest best settings for productivity with this monitor? It seems to be fading in and out even scrolling web pages, and some tabs look good while others aren't bright enough. I'll return if I have to, but the screen size is what I needed it for to edit web pages. Really hoping to nail this down, thanks!
