A cyclical nature doesn't mean time doesnt exist. Because time isn't really time is it? Really, its the speed of causality that is the bases of time, isnt it? And time causes gravity, so if it does not exist, how do you account for that? If you assume ccc somehow suggests time does not exist, what governs that? What governs causality? you'll have to do a better job articulating away causality. Question things, sure. But you can not just replace theories with (currently unprovable) hypotheses.

There is no evidence of that kind of matter, not in astronomical observations and not in particle physics. Something is wrong in our theory of gravitation, we blame a DARK matter and DARK energy because our calculation cannot fit reality. And after decades of searching there is nothing. Maybe we should check the theory of gravitation on that scale ?

I would rather live with unknowns that things that aren't true. It has always seamed counter intuitive to me that the Universe is not infinite. After all, if you point at any direction and if you could go infinitely fast and go through anything why wouldn't you just go on forever? What we call the big bang could simply be what happened to our speck of universe. There were probably multiple (or infinite) number of big bangs taking place. If you think about it there must be a process of renewal of matter. If there wasn't then all the hydrogen would eventually be consumed by stars and there would be no water and thus we don't exist. There has to be a reset process for matter. In any case I don't understand why Astronomers are upset that false theories are being disproved. This should be a cause for celebration.
