Love M's. A modded version of both pound for pound it would be an e92 m3 hands down here for a fun car.

Seats and door cards look great for the age. You can use seat doctor to touch up the seat leather. If I were you I'd keep it and restore it. Get a OEM euro front bumper or a CSL style bumper and keep the trunk but paint it white with a new badge.

The only opinion I have regarding these cars is, the main argument I hear from the E92 guys is the sound. The E92 guys diss the F80 series cars sound, but thankfully, the Valvetronic Titanium Exhaust has solved that issue. Trust me, go drive an F8x series fitted with the Valvetronic then your biased opinion will change. The E92 is significantly smaller as all E series cars are, and that tends to make the car feel more personable. The F8x series is a do it all car. It is super fast, luxurious, handles like it's on rails, and looks great from any angle. I love my M4. It may have thinner hips that the M3 has, but it still wins trophies at Import Car Shows🏆🏆

Bro, honestly you should investigate getting a Valvetronic Titanium Exhaust set up for your F80 M3, trust me…….this solves the sound problem for our cars. Of course, it might not sound as good as the rawness of the E92’s V8 but trust me………….there’s nothing that can touch the Valvetronic for the F80/F82/F83/F87 series M cars. Apex, the te's look good on everything but that doesnt mean they *suit* everything, also gun metal vs black wheels, the gunmetal adds way more detail to the car vs black wheels

The top strut torque spec for the 18mm is 25ft lbs, no more, no less, in fact if it's too tight it will clunk. Also, depending on how much you spun the 10mm (thats inside the 18mm) you could have damaged the strut internally so keep an eye on it.

That thing doesn't look beat up. It looks great what it needs is a bit of an upgrade here and there and some lovely stickers. 👌

The LED's on my e36 DEPO projectors are great but not fun to install. I had to remove the bumper cover to install a foglight LED on one side. Having them snap on instantly like halogens for little money is great and have had no problems with them for the last 5 years. The 'auto recycler' I used in Colorado only charged me once for all the parts over the years, 5 dollars for a heater box cover, despite getting what would cost hundreds on Ebay from them. The recycler I use now charges for everything. Post pandemic problems...

The staggered tips werent a good choice IMO.. That welding was beautiful, if you wanted better, you gotta take all the tubing yourself. Just chalk it up to the Game.. Get some Ceramic High Heat paint on that piping. You def paid for the Welds. I paid 180 to get a Dinan Catback setup installed, and my welds look like bubblegum.. High Heat Enging Enamel will make it look oem underr there.
