I always walk past the cast iron plant , But the next time I see one I’ll be buying 2🙋🏽♀️🪴🪴
So sad that this channel has been dormant for a year. Best wishes please come back soon ❤ you content is so perfect and high quality
My calla lilly did not make any flowers anymore since 3years, I wish to know why? Please
Hi I bought 1 recently. Not doing well. Tried it in water and also put in soil .Seems to be dying out.Cape Town .South Africa
Thata not the expierence that i made with It sincerely. I bought Mine AS a rescue. When i brought It home i let It in the pot For a month and then repotet It. I have Mine now For 10 months. I water when its dry, make Sure tò water also in the middle of the leaves, give It normal housplant fertilizer every 2 weeks fron April to August and the from September till now once month a Little dose. I water only once, maybe a second time if the soil gets really really dry But i try tò not water It at all becaue everything i read about It said so.. AND...... Mine has grown so much, It Is at least Double the size, when not more, as this ones in the video and shooting out new leaves without every stopping. Yes I had no flowers till now but I'm sure that when the warmer months come, it will cut it back in spring to help with it and even if it doesn't have flowers, I love it still, it's grown so much that I have it on the floor now because it takes up so much space. So I can't compare myself to this situation.
Do we leave the leave the twisty tie on? How long
Hi, my a few of my ZZ plant leave have got brown scar/marking on them, like dry out. What could be the cause? What can I do?
It's difficult to find care videos for the cast iron plant, thank you for posting this.

Is it okay to put it in the corner where there is minimum sunlight?
Do they grow new shoots naturally, or are those little stems each a plant?
Why are you not putting vedios nowadays
Our ZZ plant is leggy and droopy but nicely green. It's by a window and we don't water it often - every could of weeks and sometimes longer. Problem?
My Money tree sits in front of my large picture window in the kitchen, it's been there for 4 years now. It get direct sunlight. Every year going into winter it looks like it's beginning to die off for a while because the light changes and it doesn't like that. This year I trimmed some of the leaves leading up to the change, gave it a light feeding of Bloom Miracle Gro and Cal-Mag. Then I repotted the plant into a larger pot, which is the 2nd time I re-potted since having it. Mine is finicky. I got it at Lowes bc it was in the back dying which made me sad. So I paid for it, and the cashier said she saw it and had felt bad for it. But yet she had not moved it to be watered. Anyway I brought it and saved it, and re-potted it. But it has been finicky ever since. It enjoys light amounts of plant food 1-2x a year, but it hates when the seasons change in NY.
Highly recommend for fairly new plant people. ❤
How to save it for the next season
If the United States where you get snow you need to take them out of the crown and store them inside until spring.
Can the small one get as big as the larger one to the right? If so, how many years would that take? If not, is it based off the type of money tree you bought?
It should grow to a larger size under the right conditions. From my experience, they are fast growers. I would say around 3-4 years for a decently large tree, but obv the longer the larger.
Ya'll need to quit with the damn sound effects! They scare the bejezuz out of me! The dude got a beautiful calming voice. Let the man speak without the effects!
It's a great video! I liked it very much. 😊
How much and loc?
Pm sir mag cano ba money tree
my mom received a cala lilly as a gift and we didn’t realize it wasn’t an evergreen plant. she thought she was doing a bad job when it started wilting and let me try to nurse it back to health. it had dried out entirely by the time i had it, and it’s not on its 2nd life with a bunch of new stocks popping up in the pot ! i would never have guessed that it wasn’t evergreen, so thank you for this video !
Super useful video. Which category does the Kentia Palm fall into?
Middle category :)
Areca palm leaves are getting brown.
I had one as a present on 9th July 24 and I planted it outside. It is now lst October (three months) and it is still blooming beautifully. I’m wondering whether to bring it inside for the winter ? Do they grow again
If you get snow in the winter time than you need to bring those bulbs inside. Then replant them outside in the spring.
I just bought one and transferred into leca!!
Great info. Bottom watering or top?
What if the soil stays moist for more than a week but you have crunchy tips on the leaves?
hahahhahaha OMG that's exactly how I water...here you go, drink a bit 🤣🤣🤣
My BOP is so sad, it’s got small leaves and not getting any new leaves. I probably need to put it outside in more sun and a smaller pot
Have you made the video on how to replant these plants after they die back yet? I’m very interested because I just got one as a gift and would like to keep it going as long as possible
I just had bought new plants and came across your videos in care taking. Thanks you for the information. Also the examples with the different leaves on under/over watering was very helpful!
You're welcome! and Thank you for watching our videos.
Is there a specific time of the year you would replant the bulb? Or just plant after the 2 months of drying it out?
yeap........ is this dude the new Planterino?? he''s good!!
Thank you!
Hi, I’d love to know about braiding the money tree plant. I’ve grown these 10-15 years. It feels like I need to continue braiding the base.
I just bought one cause it's really pretty. I started growing plants again. I didn't know this plant only last for few weeks. I guess I'll be returning it. 😂. I want my plants to last for years.
My ZZ has branches of leaves which are longer waxy, a new shoot has turned yellow and dried. Why is this happening? I have mine by a north facing window. I don't water it too much but there is no drainage in the pot. I did give it some rich water which may have been the trigger but I am unsure. The plant's roots are very snug.
Check the roots--could be root rot. Or it could be overwatered. If you are able, re-pot in a nursery style pot (or a take out container with holes cut in) and set that in the current container which doesn't have holes. That way you get the look but can dump any excess water so the rhizomes don't accidentally suck up too much water. This way you avoid overwatering which can lead to root rot. & sounds like more light would help. When they get less light, the plant uses what water they do have more slowly--which can lead to root rot & yellowing leaves. Hopefully just a tad overwatered--brighter light will help the plant use the water faster. & snip the yellow branch off. 😊
Thank you for the explanation! Super helpful! For top down watering, how long does my pot/plant stay in the container/ tray? 3:04 time stamp please. Thanks so much.
How do I get my trunk braided tightly like the one you have???
Remember, just about every lily plant out there is poisonous to cats.
What about brown tips? Is that under watering?
Why did you stop posting videos? We loved it please even once in a month would be okay
My pachira is growing a lot and has big leaves ❤ I bought it in a small pot and I had to repot it 3 months later because of all the growth ❤ however my cat chews its leaves sometimes and I don’t know what to do … should I cut them off or just leave them as they are ?
thank youuuuu
You're welcome!!
You just gained a new subscriber!
Reason of super slow growth??
Hi @sunnymittra. Possible that it doesn't get enough light.
I just got one, but the soil is very wet and soft. My first instinct was that this is not good, but is it okay?
You need more subscribers!! This channel is great. Please keep going!
Thank you!!
