The second segment of the ride up the Baralacha La. The road was blocked both ends (Leh was cut off completely) so we were virtually the only vehicles. The road is a waterfall at 9.40 :-)

The Rohtang had been closed until 2 hrs before I rode over it and this was the only way to bypass the tailback of trucks :-)

I have hours of footage from South Africa, Thailand and quite a few other places with a much better camera but I never seem to get the time.

Went through the comments I'm glad you're safe and completed the trip. Could you tell more about the aftermath? Was that driver arrested or did you make a complaint? Indian roads are comparitively dangerous than other countries.
I honestly don't know as I was taken away for x-rays to asses the damage. I didn't make a complaint but someone tried to get me to sign a blank piece of paper saying they would fill in my "statement" details later. Obviously I refused.
The bus driver fled, to avoid repercussions from the crowd, and handed himself in to the safety of the police station. He was arrested and charged with negligent driving causing actual bodily harm.
Another Tata driver overspeeding and rolling over. Be it the drivers of Tata cars, SUVs or trucks... Rolling over is number one priority.
