@@RassaneyBattiese Love to hear it! Toronto has a way of capturing hearts, doesn’t it? ❤️
please don’t call yourself an “anything”ophile.
Which better city to live for musicians?
Both cities have a lot to offer musicians. Toronto has a ton of venues and industry buzz, perfect for networking. Vancouver, with its laid-back vibe, is great for creative inspiration. Depends on your groove.
come to Edmonton its fun here! So much thing to do here
Edmonton, huh? I’ve heard the river valley is pretty amazing! Maybe I'll swing by for some fun and see how it stacks up against Toronto and Vancouver! 😄
@@LivingInTorontoCA ahaha
Great video❤ Which better city for real estate agent or broker? Toronto or Vancouver ?
Thanks! Both cities are booming, but Toronto has more agents per capita than Vancouver, meaning more competition. Vancouver's market might offer a bit more breathing room. It really comes down to personal preference and career goals!
Mam is your household income 150k dollars a year? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
Hey there! Thanks for watching my video. While I appreciate your curiosity, I like to keep my personal finances private. If you have any questions about buying a house, though, I'm here to help! 😊

Everyone's entitled to their perspective, but let's keep it respectful.
@@LivingInTorontoCA hard to keep It respectful when you see your country turned on to a third world sewer In little over a decade It’s obvious our leaders have no respect for Canada
How about neither. Communist Canada is gross.

Thanks so much for this video!! I’m currently applying to art college and I’m really torn between a college in Ontario and a college in Vancouver. Do you perhaps know about what the climate is like for art jobs in either city? Thanks !!
Both Toronto and Vancouver offer vibrant art scenes. Toronto boasts 32,000 artists and arts workers, with 1 in every 50 workers being a professional artist. Vancouver's arts community is thriving too, but I don't know specific numbers. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. Good luck!
the best city to live in is where you are the most content. toronto and vancouver are apples and oranges and they are both great.
Thanks for echoing my sentiments.
I'm from Toronto and my mom, my sister and my brother have all lived in Vancouver at one point in their lives for years and they really enjoyed their time there but ultimately ended moving back but I also want to experience living out west once in my life
Looks like the west coast's calling your name! It's like a family tradition-Toronto to Vancouver and back again. Time for you to spice up the family album with some west coast adventures!
The St-Albert cheese factory has its own poutine restaurant and even has a meseum and you can see the curds being made. Oh by the way, poutine wasn't invented in Montréal. Thats a misconception because yes it is French Canadian, but its from Ontario. In 1945 when soldiers came back from world war 2 they brought back with them this American gravy. People started to experiment new recipes and at St-Albert village, all the ingredients they had were Ceese curds from the local Co-Operative cheese factory and Russet potatoes from the local farms that were already popular when deep fried. They mixed all they had and BOOM they got poutine in 1945 about 10 years before the guy who claims to be its inventor in Québec, when in reality he was only the first Montréal restaurant owner to server Poutine.
Hey there! Thanks for dropping some poutine knowledge! Who knew this cheesy concoction had such a fascinating backstory? Whether it's from Quebec or Ontario, one thing's for sure-we're all united by our love for poutine!
the dark secret of Toronto's poutine is they don't have real poutine because the curds they get are all spoiled into regular cheddar cheese. It takes 24 hours for cheese curds to lose their sqweak and become light cheddar. But if you expose them to cold, instead of preserving the curds, you'll spoil them faster. If you want good poutine, come here in Ottawa or go to Montréal. But the best place is right at the Cheese Curd factory of village St-Albert in Eastern Ontario. And and i recommend learning french before going for a better experience because everyone in Eastern Ontario speaks french.
St. Albert's Cheese Curd factory sounds like a cheesy paradise! Time to brush up on my French-merci for the tip! 🧀🍟

Canada isn’t the best place to raise a family as a lot of the areas are filled with pedophiles and people who have been making or watching child porn
Who invited the salt to the sweet apple fritter party? Let's stick to the topic in the video.
I like vancouver more. big city + nature. But with that, comes with the additional price
Totally get it! Vancouver's got that city-nature combo, but it's like the VIP section-nature demands an extra fee! 😄🏞️
Run away from both.. Too expensive.. But Vancouver is more beautiful....
Both cities can be pricey, no denying that. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
There's no other cities in Canada worth living in, especially for foreigners.

Old infrastructure, rundown buildings, thrash everywhere, boring for nature lovers.. oh and French!
I moved to Toronto from Vancouver this year, Toronto is just much better than Vancouver in many many ways. Sad part is Toronto home price is the same as Vancouver, some area even pricier than Van.
Welcome to Toronto! Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear you're enjoying the city. Housing prices can be a challenge, but it's the vibrant tapestry of life here that makes it special.
This will be me hopefully in a few years, I visited and while it does not have majestic mountains or ocean, all the things Toronto offers as well as the bigger/better/ festivals and events that Toronto offers as well as other amazing places in the GTA like Clifton hill which seems like an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Toronto once or twice a year. And yeah while homes are just as expensive, it it well worth the price and fulfilment to one day own in Toronto as well as fully enjoy what the city has to offer.
Love your enthusiasm! Toronto's mix of urban zest and GTA escapes is a win-win. Hope to welcome you to the city soon!
In the Thailand while considered as cheapest place a good quality food in a good place in center cost $30-$50
Ah, Thailand's got its perks! 🌴 But here in Toronto, while costs may be higher, the average salary is sweeter. 🍁 🍁 With an average salary of $2,600 in Thailand and a hearty $76,000 in Toronto, that's something to savour too! 😉💰 So, it's all about finding that balance!
Hello, it was a very useful comparison, thank you. There's something I want to learn. My area of interest and knowledge is cannabis and I want to progress in this regard. Which city do you think would be a better choice for this job? The only business I know is hemp farming. I want to work more in this field. In which city can I find a job more easily? I would be grateful if you could guide me correctly. Thank you, we continue to follow and like you. :)
Hey there! Thanks for the love and the follow! If you're into "high" ambitions in the cannabis industry, both Toronto and Vancouver offer plenty of opportunities. That said, Toronto's status as Canada's largest city and a major economic hub means it often offers a wider spectrum of career opportunities in this budding field. However, your choice should ultimately depend on job availability, your unique skill set, and personal preferences. Quick disclaimer, I'm no cannabis expert, just your friendly neighbourhood real estate guide. Remember, when exploring this industry, it's essential to stay informed about current regulations and market trends. It's an exciting field with plenty of potential for growth. Best of luck on your budding journey!
what I have seen in both cities during the summer. I see Vancouver is rich in vegetation and there are many hemp farms due to the climate.
Your concise yet generous presentation equally helps to decide now and visualize the long-term future here and there.. You do justice to both! Bravo!
Thank you for your kind words! Toronto or Vancouver is a tough choice, like picking between poutine and maple syrup. 🇨🇦

Canada became shit country
I've been living in Vancouver for 4 years now and I'm considering moving to Toronto. For me, Vancouver is simply too small and relaxed and I also prefer snow over rain
I'm thinking of moving to Vancouver. Is the rain really that bad? I heard it's only for 4 months
@@lnejavi It’s sunny every day from middle of June to middle of September and then for the rest of the year there is a lot of rain. I would say most of those rainy months are okay because it doesn’t rain every day and the rain is never heavy(it’s mostly drizzling rain) but January and February are really bad. During those 2 months it can rain absolutely every day
@@Joe-cy5hm So when people do the outdoorsy nature activities in Vancouver, is it mostly concentrated in the summer? I wonder if this contributes to why people think it's hard to make friends in Vancouver. I still want to see it for myself, but I'm just curious
@@lnejavi Yes, for the most part but there are people that do stuff even in bad weather. Most people only stick to skiing/snowboarding during winter so popular summer spots like Kitsilano beach or English bay are completely empty during that time
Hey Joe! Toronto's ready to welcome you with open arms and a snowball in each hand. We're a bit less "zen" and more "caffeine-fueled rush." Time to trade those rain boots for snow boots!
My dream is Vancouver or Toronto 🇨🇦, but I have some indecision about other Canadian cities 😅
Absolutely understand your indecision! 🤔 Keep an eye out for my upcoming comparison videos on other Canadian cities. I’ve got Calgary and Ottawa coming up next. They might help you make the best choice for your dream spot!
Do you love the city, or do you love nature? To really appreciate Vancouver, you really have to love water sports, hiking, skiing, etc. If you hate all that stuff, go to Toronto. The city life in Vancouver is okay.. but if you're not taking advantage of the outdoors there, the city will get lame after a year.
Toronto is better
Thanks for sharing your view! ☺️
great content 🔥 now wanted to ask this, i want to have an insurance career in Canada im struggling to decide between which city or province to move to because I am not really getting great information online 1 ONTARIO / TORONTO 2 BC / VANCOUVER 3 ALBERTA / CALGARY Any advice?
When considering where to start your insurance career, each of these cities has its advantages and considerations. Toronto: As Canada's financial hub, Toronto offers numerous insurance career opportunities due to its diverse population and a concentration of insurance companies. However, it's highly competitive and has a higher cost of living. Vancouver: Vancouver's growing insurance sector benefits from its natural beauty and client demand for asset protection, especially regarding environmental and climate risks. The city provides a balanced lifestyle, but housing costs can be high. Calgary: Calgary's insurance scene, particularly tied to the energy industry, offers opportunities if you're interested in sectors like energy, agriculture, or natural resources. The cost of living is generally lower compared to Toronto and Vancouver, which can be a significant advantage. However, job opportunities may be more specialized due to the city's economic focus. Your choice depends on your career goals, personal preferences, and the specific niche within the insurance industry that interests you the most. So, take your time to research and decide which city aligns best with your aspirations. I have a video on Toronto vs Calgary coming up soon so be on the lookout for that to give you some more insight.
Ngl you so fine

I hope you can help me (and my English is good enough) I arrived a few days ago in Vancouver. I make a year work and trevel. My plan was to stay in Vancouver but it’s sooo expensive even a flat share l. So I Google where to live instead. I need a “city live” cuz that’s how I grew up 😅 On the Internet I saw Toronto is way more worth it or Calgary. So i looked on Craigslist and saw many good flats for a acceptable price in Toronto. My question, do u have any tips for me where to live in Canada ? (A city, haven’t to be very big, but not so expensive like Vancouver 💀) I would appreciate a answer Best greetings Tom 😊
Hi Tom! Thanks for reaching out. Toronto and Vancouver are the most expensive cities in Canada, but they offer great quality of life. If you're looking for more budget-friendly cities, cities like Calgary AB, Halifax NS, or Winnipeg MB or London ON are worth exploring. It’s important to consider factors like job prospects, local amenities, climate and lifestyle too and not just cost of living. Canada's diversity means there's a perfect place for you. But without knowing your exact goals in Canada, pinpointing the best city is a bit tricky. Just a heads-up: be cautious about rental ads on platforms like Craigslist, as many of those are a sham. Feel free to share more, and I'd be thrilled to help!
@@LivingInTorontoCA to be honest, i would like to connect more to the music scene and start working in the cannabis industry. But I also need a place to sleep than I can afford, and a hostel is permanent no option I think 😅 Thanks for the quick reply 😇🫶🏻
@@fussel2983 Hey Tom! Thanks for sharing more about your interests. If you're into the music scene and the cannabis industry, consider checking out Hamilton ON. It's got a vibrant art/music vibe and a significantly lower cost of living compared to Toronto. Plus, it's only about an hour train ride to Toronto, costing around $10 for a return ticket. I've visited Hamilton for a music festival a few weeks ago and plan to attend another music/art fest there in 2 weeks - Hamilton is buzzing! About the cannabis industry, it's pretty over-saturated here, but options abound. Feel free to reach out if you need more insights.

This city us too dirty, ugly and generaly disgusting to be so expensive. I spent there 2 years and left. I feel absolutely happy that don't let Canada fool myself. If you don't have money don't come to Canada because you will not survive. If you do have money, don't come to Canada because this place is not for rich people. There are so many countries around where you will really enjoy you life and money. Hopefully, most potential immigrants will find out how awful this country is and the steam of immigrants will dry out.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time in Toronto. It's not for everyone, but there are many who love the city and are proud to call it home. I wish you all the best in finding a place where you can truly be happy.
After living in the United States for a while, you realize that Toronto is just an expensive Chicago.
You can’t get a decent deep dish in Toronto though. 🍕

I just moved to Toronto, in the Annex/ Yorkville area.. I took a job as a live in caregiver. I make $900 a week with rent and utilities included. Though I am a PSW with 20 years experience, many similar positions require no experience. Considering the cost of living, combined with the shortage of health care workers, this is a great option

It's mayor resigned because having sex with his colleague
While the mayor's actions were certainly disappointing, I'm curious if you see a connection between his scandal and the cost of living in Toronto.
I still love Toronto, but I genuinely don't understand how people making ~50k survive in the city. It's crazy. I almost think making 6 figures is a requirement to live comfortably in TO and still save and invest for the future. I landed a job making 75k / year which is the most money I ever made. It adds up to net $4400 a month, I have no other streams of income at the moment aside from a few odd freelance jobs. If I move back into the city as a single guy, my rent will immediately eat up over half my income. The rest will go towards food and cost of living. I'll hardly be able to save and invest for my future, living ALONE with a 75k salary. The city is simply too pricey these days for most people! But, I do plan to move back either by boosting my income, or hoping the housing prices simmer down a bit.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the challenges of living in Toronto on a single income. I completely empathize with your situation and understand how difficult it can be to manage the high expenses here. It's unfortunate that the cost of living has become a barrier for many people. Congratulations on your new job, and I hope that you're able to return to the city soon.
