    I have the same saw, and it continuously leaks bar oil. No matter how I adjust it. And the the chain saw is clean as a whistle. Do you know of a fix for this issue. My Husqvarna is fine but this Makita has me scratching my head. Thanks mate. 😊👍

      Hey Nick. Thanks brotha. I thought I would post this on YT as well in addition to IG. I was looking at Wolf Ridge and Easton Made splitters and I just couldn’t justify paying almost 6k for a splitter. This one only cost me (materials only) $2600. Plus my free labor. I needed a splitter that is highway speed rated. I took her out tonight for a cruise. I hit 84 mph without any issues. The cycle rate is 7 seconds.

    Thank you so much for not talking. Seems everyone wants to jibber jabber about where saws came from and how they or their grandpa ,uncle, neighbor had one and countless other irrelevant subjects. I'm rude I guess but Im looking to fix my saws issue with minimal downtime. Thank You Much for exceptional informative instructional videos that you supply us with. Shhhh.. 🤫

    I just recently bought this saw but really put it to work this afternoon by cutting logs 12-13" in diameter! This little fkr thinks its a big saw...just cuts right through. Don't know why Echo does not list this saw's hp on their website. The number all over the net is 3.5 hp but I am skeptical (because it's size) although I'm impressed.

    • @DirtRoadLanding
      @DirtRoadLanding Рік тому

      Hell Yeah!!! I bought the one thats in the video in 2020 when they were $399 plus Echo had a 20 percent off sale for their X series products. I should have bought 2. Now they are $450. IDK, but i"m still thinking about buying a second one for that price because they are such fantastic little saws. Home Run by ECHO! in my opinion.

    • @DirtRoadLanding
      @DirtRoadLanding 2 роки тому

      Matt, I dont know. I just did a quick search but I couldn't find any info on that. I did take out the carb adjustment limiters and I did drill an extra hole in the muffler. My guess id that there are no limits on the coil. The engine 4 strokes at wide open throttle.

    An amazing saw I own one myself I don't have any issues with it it the only issue that one of these Stihl lovers don't like about it is there not men enough to run the weight they are a little heavier the body based on a 395 is far more Superior than any 661 or 660 or whatever you call them things yeah and the only little piss poor idea is they still have no side tensioner other than that you cannot beat it for the size the power displacement the speed I mean and the 395s are just absolutely far more Superior to any commercial saw out there and guys will constantly argue well guess what you can't argue with the proofs in the pudding buddy amazing 395 the best saw you can get

    • @DirtRoadLanding
      @DirtRoadLanding 2 роки тому

      Agree with you. The 395 is truly unstoppable in the wood-no matter the size. Stihl is good as well but Husky, in my opinion, is a heavy-duty logger saw built for everyday hard use.

    dont hold the log with one hand and cut with the other, setting yourself up for a hospital visit

    • @DirtRoadLanding
      @DirtRoadLanding 2 роки тому

      Yes, i was contemplating that part when i was cutting close to my hand. Although still dangerous, the camera angle didnt show it, but I felt I was far enough from the chainsaw bar when I was cutting and took extra care to really hold onto the saw tight just in case it skipped, bounced up. The things we do for youtube videos.

    • @MathieusChainsawCarvings
      @MathieusChainsawCarvings 2 роки тому

      @@DirtRoadLanding i understand, i mean i do sometimes cut 1handed but having the 2nd hand close like that is always a little bit risky. best avoided. could see you were kinda carefull about it but the biggest problem i feel is people will copy it thinking its a 1handed saw or something. i would just plant my left foot on there if the log is big enough, leather boots would hold up a second longer then bare skin hehe. safety first.

    • @DirtRoadLanding
      @DirtRoadLanding 2 роки тому

      Yes i did notice that on the video just now and I do remember it “leaning” out at that particular moment as I was cutting. I assumed that my jets loosen up from the vibration and made the saw a little too lean and I got a little worried that I would cook the saw. But i will tickle the high jet and lean her out a bit and keep testing and improving. I will make that video PART 2. 🌿🪵☘️🪵♥️🪓
