morophon is actually just good in any wubrg deck now with the addition of leyline of mutation in duskmourn giving you the ability to cast every spell in your deck for free, even just running him as the face not caring about tribal with cost reducers you can always get him out and protect the leyline with any kind of hexproof or shroud, I run him as the face for my eldrazi deck and I cheat out the titans for free pretty much every game

If you wanted some variety on Feather, try it as a Stuffy Doll deck. You cram every version of the Stuffy Doll creatures in Boros, and burn your creatures for value every turn. And then maybe murder the table in on Blasphemous Act.

As a player with 3/4 commanders I knew Miirym would win. Werewolves aren’t that good. They need lots of haste. Strefan is a good commander. Not stand out just good. I’ve found having ping put early helps. Krenko is fantastic. Lots of goblins. But Miirym is Krenko with dragons. As we all know dragons are to be feared for a reason. I built her to make more tokens than God can shake a stick at.

Oh, also stoneforge masterwork will let Baylen swing for lethal commander damage on the 4th or 5th hare apparent or whatever (if you use tokens to buff Baylen and give it trample till end of turn). 🤔

Cloudstone curio goes infinite with Baylen and enough Hare Apparents 👀 I don't see anyone talking about it either. Also other awesome cards are banner of kinship, porcelain gallery, preposterous proportions, and molten echoes.

Personal opinion Bloodthirsty Conqueror is a trap outside of combo. People will start only hitting you until it's gone.

I think this deck is a bit TOO mean for my Casual table xD But man what a fun list haha Might have to look how to tone it down a bit. Like removing Ulamog will already reduce the level of frustration people will feel if i bring the list hehe

Another Board Wipe that people should consider in that deck is Volcanic Torrent. The card is just bonkers. WIth the amount of 2 drop (hare apparent) that can cost up to 1 mana with your reducer plus the amount of mana Baylen is gonna produce for you with your tokens, Volcanic Torrent would be easy to cast with like 4-5 spells + cascade + torrent, so like 6-7 damage to opponents' creatures only + giving you a free spell off the top.

The room that gives convoke/untap your team is kinda insane in a lot of decks, but in Baylen, it's like the best card by far !

I'm generally only a couple of year into playing magic and commander is what I play. I currently have about 7 working decks and currently building one. I found building decks is a great way to understand the game and learn the cards. I've brought about 3 pre con decks and modded them and the rest are from scratch. I don't think you can have too many as long as you're not skinting yourself out for it.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that a local game shop is trying to rip you off. Wal-Mart? Yes. Small shop? No. I've never run a real, physical shop ... but I did run a store in an MMO before, just an in-game not-real-world store selling things for in-game gold and I would mark up things that people expected me to have but didn't sell that often. It was just too much work for me and it took up store space. so why would I stock something that sits there for weeks and then make a small profit that wasn't worth it? That's when I realized why small shops mark things up the way they do. But I still have to stock a lot of things or people wouldn't come to my shop as much ... those marked up items are there just for show basically, not because I was making a lot of money off it. People expect to see a wide range of things for sell when they walk in ... or they turn around and walk out, even if they were never going to buy 90% of those of things. So I started marking up certain items a lot to make it worth my while to keep them in stock and my sales went up; people weren't buying the marked up items but they still expected to see them/a wide range of items. It's crazy.

I like everything about next year's schedule for sets.The only change I would make is making it so we have a Universe's Beyond set then a magic set and back and forth. My hope is with less magic IP sets we can get really good sets with lots of lore. Let's be real the Murders set this year sucked and we could have done without it. I don't care at all about SpongeBob but that's fine I will just choose not to buy it. I have always thought that one of magic's strengths is adapting worlds and IPs into magic. I don't play standard so I am not sure how having six sets will have on its game play. I really don't think having more cards in a format is ever a bad thing? My guess for the last set is League of Legends or Warhammer 40k. They have worked with them in the past and it's about the time frame for them to see the success of the Warhammer deck and putting a set into production. Thanks for signing my mat Morgan in Vegas. Was there a reason the yuriko player kept an opener with 1 mana and no plays for 4 turns? Put himself in such a rough spot for the rest of the game.

Speaking for myself, and my playgroup, I could not care less about the new Wizard's of the Coast "banned list." Use what you want, house rules always trump whatever a corporation says is the correct way to play!
