@@Graysonemory No problem dude. A lot of the boot products look great for a while but as they build up things start going bad. I have a pair of Iron Rangers that are 16 years old. I have had them resoled 4 or 5 times because I wear them every day and they look like a million bucks. All I have done is cleaned them with saddle soap a time or 2 every year and wiped a little red wing oil on a few times a year.

I use the screws to hold the boxes structural integrity together, and because it looks aesthetically pleasing, but then staples to hold the flat sheet on just because people will likely put lightweight s’mores stuff in it or school supplies

Yeah, I think that’s all they swapped out. They could definitely better the design if they put the pin to recess into the frame.

@asherrose6594 it’s funny I got this knife when I worked at Cabela’s for supercheap like $60 they wanted us to have it so we can really put it through the paces. I don’t think they thought I would do this to it lol but it makes them look good cause they fixed it up no charge!

Well with this guy it puts a corner of plate steel into the hole and then the black piece pulls it tight so I would love to try but I think anything short of a shotgun blast would probably have a hard time but I’m all about torture test tho!

I agree they make seriously solid designs! This design was meant to fail cause all the pressure was on the one pin! This guy is still good for prying tho! Hell of a thick blade!

Yeah sometimes edges do come out pretty jacked but I like to just still sand them down I think they still look cool
