R.I.P
The special machine is called a CNC and it's old technology that just works
I would like to use it for musky fishing but would change the hooks …. there a bit too small..
Daiso store
I’m definitely gonna put my cheap mono on and practice
You forgot to mention that you need your drag set all the way up before filling the spool.. also just tie an uni instead. Holds up better
Nice 👍🏼 I need one for saltwater Pier fishing 🎣
Hello were is this Japanese dollar store I need to get some new fishing lures
It’s from “daiso” - not every location has this much fishing stuff but it’s worth going to see what they have
This is almost exactly how I setup my spinning reels
Can you share the details like what rod you are using, which company, reel company and all. As i would like to buy one.
Tie the anaconda knot man you get no slip
I think it's called arbor knot
I can honestly say I’ve never seen an Aldeberen on an Ugly Stik 😂
Works just as good without any knots. After ten times around, the line isn’t going anywhere.
OK spinning reel sure electrical tape is getting braided to stick isn’t pain in the butt but a bait caster just feed it through two of the holes and tie knot and then put the knot upside down and then when you reel it it’s doesn’t need to stick to anything because it’s already connected to the spool
What is the name of the part that holds the reel
What kind of rod?
They don't all have holes. Not at all helpful.
So you don’t need to add backing you can just use tape?
Aren’t u supposed to put mono onto the bottom first
Thank you
That is not 10 inches stoopit 😂😂😂
The Canadian dollar store has them as well.
This makes no fucking sense
I really wanna get my hands on those tackle boxes!
I have those scissors like exact and they work well not quite as strong as you would expect at higher ibs line though
Very cool vid, you are severely underrated
So does the american one.
Not mine
Is this in japan or us?
Safety pins are fucking genius
My grandpa taught me that trick i cannot believe I didn’t think of it sooner
*everything sold there is genius
It’s a arbor knot for anyone asking
That was awesome how far you skipped that! Im watching videos to learn how to skip lires and yours was by far the coolest skip.
The holes are sharp, you might cut the line threading it through.
Customly
My dad has that same pole
My boyyy that pole don’t go with that reel 😂😂😂😂😂
Why not?
😭😭I've been using this trash method for so long bc I didn't know any real knots but a real knot would work so much better here. It's not all that likely but if you don't max out your spool then it's very possible you could have a big fish pull your line all the way to the end and that trash knot will snap so easily. Loosing your ENTIRE line. And they always spin on the spool for me regardless. Wrap the entire spool in a good layer of electrical tape all the way around it and tie something like a San diago jam and have that knot tight and strong. If you ever end up at the knot you'll never have issues reeling in and the knot will be as strong as the knot on your hook. Better peace of mind. And the electrical tape keeps bigger fish from spinning the braid around the reel spool while you're trying to reeling in.
No, folks don’t do this. You need backing. Use mono, tie an arbor knot, reel until the spool is covered. Then uni knot to braid. Done. Don’t listen to this overhand knot, tape loving jackhole
sounds similar to an arbor knot
Or could do a simple slip knot
Thank you I've spent so much time trying to get around that damn spool but this whole time I could have just used that hole
That’s what she said
Don’t but braid straight on to a metal spool, it can cause the whole spool of line to twist
I'd fill it halfway with mono first...
Thanks for the tip👍 and Nice ugly stick! I still have mine from 2005, I tell you that rod has caught at least 10,000 walleye.
Also if you're using your bait caster in saltwater, wrap tape around the holes . It will save your bearings
Put it thru one hole and out another, no backing or tape needed
Been fishing since I was a child. Never tied a knot. You will never get to the end of the spool on a fish. If you do, you suck. Just put the line through the hole of the spool and reel in. Done
Or, just tape the line to the spool. If they strip you to the spool, they ain't stopping!🤔😳
since braid is slippery i like to overhand knot on the tag end 3 times so it cant slip
There are so many strong knots you can tie for putting line on a reel.
