Hubs not cleaned, no bead seal, no ACTUAL TPMS kit just stems, no cleaning of the rim lips, and no balancing. Not to mention the time it takes to pull in the vehicle, put it in the air, take the tires off, then putting them back on, retorquing the tires, and pulling it back out. Still, an impressive performance as far as mount and dismount, and valve change.
I'm about to get a job at Discount Tires. These guys seem very fast & its impressive. When I learn I'm still going to take my time, make sure every tire I do is perfect. I'm excited!
@@morganhurst4423 wym mah man? If you mean discount tire, all the manual labor is intense but you get used to it. I’ve been out as crew chief the last few days and in my opinion it’s a lot more enjoyable than tire technician
Right, We buff the rim & at least look at the rim & see how the tire is wearing ect.. A extra 3 min can tell a story lol, come on! They are just showing off on a pre-broke down tire that is easy to put back on 👏👏👏
cause your 2012 Ford Fusion has swollen to shit lugs and you refuse to buy the lug kit lmao changing two tires will always be faster than fixing a flat. that’s just how it be
@@psychedelicbdsm7301 I own 2 Chevys, a Jeep, a Nissan and a Toyota. No Ford bitch here baby. 10 mins for a flat. A good crew of three can rip an old set off and throw a new set on in less than 20. Yes valve stems replaced and dynamic balancing. But I feel you pain with Ford two price lugs. An engineer will climb a mountain of virgins to screw a tech.
lol people really think this is how their tires get changed. more than likely, these are some dummy rims or old scrap wheels laying around, used for new techs to learn on.
I need them on my race team to change tires on the asphalt latemodel under green flag put stops and on also be my tire guy who picks the stagger I need and finds perfect sets in the huge stack of new hooisers abd mount then as well cuse we seem like no matter what we still rushing fir 5 hours at the track like everyone else to get ready
We didn't and we played the game anyway. The fun is to make up for the stress from the Ford lugs, stuck-on-hub wheels, and waiting on the customer to come back from walmart to talk about the nail in the sidewall which could make a car sit in the bay for 2 hours.
Ok for everyone saying it’s easy work yes it’s simple work but when you actually work at busy location and when i say busy I mean busy with no phone time and Doing this from open to close ( 11) hours with only your lunch break to catch some time to collect yourself isn’t as easy as you think. Also if you think just cause we close at 6pm the doors close and we stop working your wrong, we don’t get off till 7pm -7:30pm. Lit
Cars coming in like that 00 mustang with beat up stock wheels, or beater hondas with steelies and just rubber stems allow employees to set up for this game evenly.
Both beads already broken down, swing arm already adjusted? The wheel rim is prolly rashed or scuffed "a tad bit" even if its just an old steel wheel from slamming that duck head down. It's fun yeah but this wouldn't fly at our shop. Smooth & steady is fast.
This is how and why your wheels get damaged. Not professional and not cool. Sure, they'll get you in and out in 2-3 hours, but at the expense of treating your property like a game about being fast. Not impressed. Have a mobile tire installer do your installations. It gets done while you do other things without you having to make an appointment where you're still sitting at the shop for hours.
Tpms is the worst way to play this game. That's why it's the perfect time to set this game up is with a 90s-00s car and no tpms. And all good lugs. Hondas, toyotas.
@@CaptainFALKEN yeah those expanded lug nuts actually fuck my day up sometimes. When I have to pound a socket on to each and every lug and fight it all the way back off. Real fun shit. 🖕manufacturers

Dude this is awesome!
customer : whys my rim scratched?
These guys are fast
do you mind if i use this footage for my own video. ill give you credit
That was amazing ahahahah
Safety is out the window.Speed is there only concern
This doesn’t make any sense speed comes with having experience! I don’t care how fast you are being safe and doing the job right is what matters
I wonder how many tpms sensor they have broken
Discount tire in my area wont hire people with piercings or tattoos or long hair. Also why are the tires being aired up in a truck tire cage?
I can tell by how fast the camera is moving and especially how fast that machine is turning that this is sped up 25%
when your crush needs her tires changed😂
How to scuff wheels 101
look tire monkeys
I'm not taking my $400 each rims there!
The dude that said quit , should’ve been changing against the manager 🤔😅

They have a 15 min promise time. They probs will have you balancing the first few days. Cause if you mess up a rim it’s GG
I just got the job as well... We ain't gna last long. Lmbo

most whole some video
They are gonna be great and efficient technicians if they move to auto repair
Got it. so not a touchless mounting machine
Then why the fuck does it take two hours to fix a flat tire?

4 days into tire technician and I truly think your gods
Fr lol
Right, Just cus your fast does not mean you are good, The rim could had be cracked they would never know
Hey. They got it easy. When we race we race while having to rebuild a tpms sensor with balancing included, and installing the assembly to the car
Love how they both beat the tire with their bars. Idk what it is but I always give the old tires a smack waiting for the bead to come off
Smacking the tire with the bar actually aids in removal of the old tire. I tried it and it really does work
yea it helps with removing the tire and it can also be pretty satisfying
lol people really think this is how their tires get changed. more than likely, these are some dummy rims or old scrap wheels laying around, used for new techs to learn on.
All that for 15-16 an hour.

My techs take 5 minutes to change a tire. They need to learn a bit from these guys
Bro I work at discount tire my crew are nothing like that 😭
Hope the customers dint mind a little extra scratches from all that banging around
Do with sensors in them next
Yeah, you guys aren't getting paid enough to give yourself stress from moving at that pace, even if this was for demonstrative purposes.

Im a mechanic and if i saw these techs doing this with this video evidence on my car it would be hands on sight. Whats next a balancing challenge? 😂
Everything you do has to be 15 minutes or less starting the second the car comes in not easy doing this all day. Not for everyone it’s tough work.

I do tires for a living too but for Firestone
3 hour wait time, azp53. Former tech, still beat yall. Tell you wghhhut.
I work with aftermarket wheels so kinda pains me to watch them be so wreckless, but they were pretty quick.

I’m pretty sure popping the bead counts as changing to so they completely skipped that step and also let’s see them do it when there’s a tpms sensor
Break the bead at 12 and 6 and your good to go.
