Millions in Debt to the Greatest Show in Sports
How Jesse Cole’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to build the Savannah Bananas into the greatest show in sports.
Jesse and Emily Cole and the Savannah Bananas are one of the most interesting entrepreneurial success stories you’ll ever hear. You see, before they had nearly 8 million followers on social media, national news coverage, a T.V. series on ESPN, and a waitlist of over 500,000 people to get a ticket, the Savannah Bananas were a severely struggling minor league baseball team with just a few fans. In this video, we’re going back to the beginning to find out who’s behind the business of the Bananas and how a book about Walt Disney led them to risk millions of dollars to turn them into the greatest show in sports history.

    Things like this make me realize how much I overthink my business ideas. I'm both stunned and inspired. "Dumb it down, girl!" is what I need to keep saying to myself.

    They sold out to a big equity firm and their products are made in China. That tells you something about Yeti.

      Not true… check your facts

    • @Velo1010
      @Velo1010 3 місяці тому

      @@TWN321 no, I have it correct. You need to check your facts. Their products are made outside the United States; No coolers outside the Tundra line are currently made in the USA.

    • @TWN321
      @TWN321 3 місяці тому

      @@Velo1010 You’re changing your position- is it out of the US, or is it in China? YETI makes products globally and their supply chain is global - including the USA. and they did not “sell out” to a big equity firm- they simply went public. Even still, the founders still hold a 30% interest in the company and are actively involved in Product Development. So… check your facts bro.
