In the comments, I would love to see the ones that you make! $500 for a keyboard in what economy
Thank you Ben, keep up the good work
Can you use crypto mattes to matte out separate objects like puzzle mattes?
Yep thats exactly how it work.
is this really releasing?
if these keycaps feel the same as the op-1 field keys do... and if the gaps between these keys in the board are super tight... then take all the monies...
10 hrs 😱, must have taken my whole childhood to render😂
I like it but it quite a lot. But $250 is max for this.
bro love him self so much😭🙏
Is this going to support Spotify just like nomad?
It would be helpful if they didn't skip the saving of files, etc. Because I'm lost about what to do after I save the crytomatte settings.. I'm not sure how to get my multipass files, or where to find them, or how to open them... no idea at all.
In C4D everything saves exactly where you tell it to. In the Render Settings menu, on the left go to Save then in both the Regular Image and Multi-Pass Image areas define where on your computer you would like to save the rendered files. This will carry over to any Cryptomatte or AOVs you have setup. Hope that helps.
i have seen your keyboard on work louder! great work :) and thanks for the tutorial i will use this to convert ym vst designs into 3d!
thanks man easy to follow and quick
Amazing! Love it a lot.
need 2.4g connection and bigger Battery
I hope the preorder is still up for a few more weeks
Yep it will! Once we have stock closer to shipping time in Q3 the price will go to $479.
Until when are preorders?
Like a teenage engineering keyboard!! Looks great
Very clean animation 🎉

straight garbage product with tons of unnecessary features
Can build a better keyboard for less 💀
Do it. Show us how good it looks in comparison to this. Then produce thousands of them. Then you can talk :)
@@ToughLuckStudio No disrespect to the designer, this looks really nice, but that's just it. Almost $500 for a keyboard that doesn't improve work-flow or productivity but just looks "pretty" is for a specific audience. Not to mention he has a smaller team, so producing at cheaper isn't feasable, at this stage. I still stand by what I say. If you have a brain, you can produce a keyboard just as nice, if not better for far less.
@@Rigboogle Toyota vs Ferarri
@@ToughLuckStudio if you know anything about the mechanical keyboard scene you'll understand that you can easily build keyboards that are way better than this for much cheaper

ortholinear when?
No plans at this time for one in this style. But you can pick up the Creator board from Work Louder in the meantime. worklouder.cc/creator-board/
why would you need a timer?
Pomodoro working technique is very popular. Putting the timer function into a keyboard is a good combo. We will be making it possible to create custom widgets after we ship too. Stay tuned.
@@benfryc hey I love your work this is such a cool keyboard I wish I could afford it!!
wow i wish i had the money
Looks sick but sadly I need to eat this month

What is the work flow to export my Plasticity Models into Cinema, and apply a Subdivision modifier? Evertime that I applied one, make the geometry looks very weird. Sometimes I need big closups, and I don't want to see the polygons. Great tutorial!
Ive found that if I crank up the model detail when exporting to OBJ that I don't need to apply a subdivision. The normals tag will make the exported geo look extrememly smooth.
@@benfrycOk! Got it. I was thinking in use a retopology plug in or soemthing, but thanks for the insight.
I always get the no cryptomatte layers found in AE?
This program is so cool!

We. Need. More. , Love. It. !
Amazing ! Thx
Love this tutorial. Very clear and easy to follow and the pace is perfect!
Tu very interesting
Wow! Fantastic tutorial. So well explained and moves at a perfect pace. I don't often subscribe to teachers, but I have today. More content will be welcome, whatever it is. Well done Sir!
very unintuitive, clunky software. it has nothing on moi3d, which is a true CAD for artists.
Love it!
Thank you Ben :) Nice way to get started with Plasticity ))
this is the best tutorial for charter modeling starters .
love that cinema can do vdb, didnt know and loved it in houdini. What would you go about the rigging later ? can a reprojection be done w the details on a low poly mesh afterwards? thanks for the tut
So how can you make it so the transparent material will still let the text show throw it? Woudl tha have to be somehting with z oath and UV pass?
Hi, I have a problem. When I use the cryptomatte inside After effects, the mask creates a black outline around the masked object, is there any solution for this?
this looks like a ridiculously fun and useful tool
Hi, the program to use is Blender?
*promosm* 😀
everyone seems to have gone crazy)). as if something new and magical had been invented!
While appreciate the video and walkthrough of your workflow I am wondering about the simplicity of the object and why it would need to be modeled in Plasticity instead of a poly modeler? The process would not be difficult, you would not need to use booleans or nurbs, and there would be no translating objects between DCC's. This isn't an admonishment of the video or process, but a serious question as to the need of adding the complexity of another software into the workflow and the benefit.
Thanks for this video and your time!
Cool little tool over priced, but there is a toon of free products out there. Also, You can all that and more in cinema 4D alone. Also with the power of scripts in Cinema 4D the limitation is your imagination and knowledge. The BIGGEST problem with Plasticity is the mesh, cause it is a mess. Zero benefit for paying and using Plasticity today.
Thanks for creating this! 👍👍
