Yeah, Chinese are flooding the market with counterfeits. You can tell the one on the left is fake as anything made in Japan will have writings in Japanese and not all Chinese characters. Make sure you buy from an authorized Shimano dealer. Not worth wasting money due to failures. Anything made in China should be cautious. Chinese even make counterfeit Ramens that are produced by Korea and Japan as well.

Sorry for irrelevant question, but can i ask you a question? When you adjust saddle tilt, how do you tighten or loose the “front” knob(or screw) if you use non cut-out saddle? It seems like allen key cant reach in there if you don’t use cut-out saddle. Do you just use thumb to tighten it? Is it possible to tight it enough, if you want a nose-down (tilt) saddle position? Id really appreciate for the reply.

I have bought them recently and find them totally useless in temps around 0 C. and below. My hands were freezing cold and cannot recommend these gloves for use at those temperatures. Wasted a lot of money!

I have same combination, Vision Metron 40 and Conti 5000. Awesome wheel and tyre combo. My only gripe would be that when they do get punctured (which is not that often) its very hard to take them off from wheel. I literally have to take them to bike shop to get the tough work done.... Hows it working for you Vision Metron and Conti 5000?

I got same wheels with Continental 5000 clincher tyres. I always have hard times in taking off the tyres and putting them on as well. Did you face this issue?
