these tyres aren't anywhere near the end of their lifecycle. Got plenty of life left in them

100% spot on , I am also so impressed . Have 25mm and 32 mm which I planning to use on a 4200 km ride , will take 1 spare tire , probably won’t use.

Tubeless or tube? How many were punctures in whole time?

I have same combination, Vision Metron 40 and Conti 5000. Awesome wheel and tyre combo. My only gripe would be that when they do get punctured (which is not that often) its very hard to take them off from wheel. I literally have to take them to bike shop to get the tough work done....
Hows it working for you Vision Metron and Conti 5000?

Good as they are, I was able to obtain two punchers front and rear thanks to the ample supply of thorns freely available on British roads. You may swear by them, however I found my self swearing at them during the removing and refitting of said tyres. More stubborn than Donald Trump!

Yes, on my rims even the guys at the local bike shop were morning how difficult my continentals were, I got the 4 season version in 28c. In the end I bought a special lever, BBB btl-78 easy tyre or something which really helped me.

Try investing in a pair of park tool tl5. Had issues over fitting tire over the last 40 years , weak hands or bad tire , lots of broken plastic tire levers . But since tl5 I sleep at night

I think Continental did a great job too. The 5000 is sooo much better than the 4000. The 5000 is much rounder than the pyramid shaped 4000s. Though the best cornering tires are still tubulars, a true 5, they are the bench mark.

I would go for the Conti 4 Season in the winter time.

Theses feel great, but they have terrible puncture protection compared to previous GPs.

The tires come with an indication on how they should rotate. Check the side of the the tire

You weigh 90 kg? I wish i were that light, I would have even more KOM's then ;]
As for the tyre, it's hard to mount tubeless version and it's the fastest option.

You have them mounted the wrong way... check on how the tire should rotate and you will get more miles out of them.

In real life it doesn't make much difference, them being slicks.

NEVER swap rear tire to front. You have NO cred. Why should anyone listen to you?
