CLEAN by Pan 8 yr Ceramic Coating (realtime install on whole side of Chrysler 300)
This shows how forgiving and EASY it is to apply CLEAN by Pan the Organizer 8-year Ceramic Coating. Although it is a very thick viscosity, if you angle the bottle and treat it like a mini ketchup bottle, it comes out pretty decent onto the applicator. This is the hardest step of the whole coating process. It spreads on very evenly and with the jetting effect, it is very easy to see where you've covered. It took me about 8 minutes to go down the whole side of a Chrysler 300 and you can see the coating flash as I work my way down. I didn't come back for the initial leveling until I had coated the whole side. It took about 4 minutes to complete the inital leveling and then 3 minutes for the final insurance wipe. Everything was very smooth with no issues at all.

My third-time using Loki was the best experience yet. I used the MJJC Pro V3.0 to foam Loki onto the vehicle. I then followed up with using Loki as a rinseless wash, but using double flip microfiber towels instead of a sponge. The level of lubrication is ...

Ha, you know it!
I've ordered the Aqua tips for my foam cannons.. Really looking forward to trying out products through them
Hope you enjoy it! Let me know if you run into issues.
@ Thanks man.. will do. Question for you, will I need the weighted balls to attach the tips or can I just stick it In the tube.. got 2 MTMs that I plan on using them on.
@@AMI_Detail I used them today for the first time.. Used Touchless - Bilt hamber neat but it wasn;t the foam I was expecting, it was quite "airy" if that makes sense. I think it wasn't pulling it through all that well, maybe I need to dilute it slightly?
@ I know you mentioned Aqua tips... did you find somewhere that you could just order the Griot's aqua tips just by themselves? I was chatting with someone that added metering to their foam cannon and he had gone with a set of three ezall metering tips from Amazon. I ordered a set of of those tips to see if I can add metering to the MJJC Pro V3. I also went with the weighted ball kit from Tool Daily as they had barbs for both 5mm and 6mm tubes. I know I will need to modify the balls to be able to push the metering tip into the end. I was able to shove a Griot's metering tip into the flexible pick-up tube of the MJJC, however, it really sucked trying to squeeze that puppy back out. If I end up going with inserting a metering tip into the tube, I would modify the tip by cutting / sanding down the outside diameter of the tip so it would be easier to insert and remove. I started to do a bit of research about the ezall metering tips that I ordered... they are designed for a livestock shampoo system. Watched a video about conditioning leather, er, washing a cow. You just never know what you find out there. I'll do some measurements when I get them on Thursday.
Great video, Jason. I've done a few of the 8 Year Clean coatings. very slick, very hydrophobic, very easy to install, and fast to cure. All great qualities at a fair price, I think. Only time and care will determine how long it really lasts.
I installed CLEAN 3 year coating on my son's car not long after the products were released back in September. I've been really impressed by the self-cleaning aspect as it is outside 24/7 and compared with our other vehicles that have coatings (Hydro and DIY 5-year), it is keeping right up with those. I put NXTZEN graphene from a trial pack on my uncle's Escape and the spray on 365 Pro on my daughter's car... I'll be replacing both of those in the spring... just not lasting / performing like other coatings for those two. I have Detail Co. Thick to try out... Thanks for the comment... it got me to stop and do a bit of planning... that is going on my uncle's Escape next. I can actually coat it over a weekend and let it cure in temp controlled environment for a good 48 hours. Before heading back out into the frigid cold of Iowa Winter.
@AMI_Detail I've done a few installs of Thick from Detail Co as well. Very, very good stuff as well. I find it pretty close to Clean 8 year. I just installed Odin on my silverado. It's definitely on another level, then either thick or clean
where’s the bronco!!! 😜🐿️💨 … still undecided on what coating to put on it?
I am pretty sure I am holding out for KATIBA, but I actually cheated on THOR and ordered a whole kit of 17 YUM CARS products in a detailing bag for $200 from The Clean Garage, which arrived today (and is still in the box because I am working, but taking a quick break to respond to a comment or two). Nick from YUM is a car guy and seems like he puts the deep wet glossy look as a priority. There was someone that had mentioned to use their ceramic spray sealant... then 12 hours later follow up with YUM WAX... with their detail spray as a finishing touch. Then Nick had to go and mention FOAM+, which is a newer product like DIY Detail Quick Beads or ADS Beads, but more focused on gloss and the ability to layer without issues. If KATIBA isn't going to be available until Q2 from THOR... I'll probably go with YUM for now to show them some love as there is very little content out there on their products.
@ nice! i’m gonna check out yum and see whatchoo talkin bout! … i finally ordered some kraken and got some more apex auto wash, and threw in a bottle of glossome wax. i feel like going down the wax, paste and liquid, rabbit hole this upcoming season
THOR has lots of great products. first this Franko would be set a budget you want to spend. After that its gonna depend what you want out of a coating. Slickness, Super Hydrophobic? easy to clean and dry? Extreme chemical resistance? ease of install? how fast to cure and exposure? FOR THE MONEY you can not beat Odin, followed by Pans 8 Year and then Detail Co thick. I have installed all 3 (Odin 1 time, Pans 8 year 3 times and Thick 3 times) Plus other various coatings Some are more Some are average in price. Some have better longevity and other various properties. Plus the House has more coming. even outside the house there is alot of great coatings.
@@CSautotechDetailing yooooo conway! absolutely, i’ve just recently got loki and odin in the mail along with the coolest ford bronco light up sign that you ever did see 😜 going forward on my bronco i’m going to be using 2 coats of ceramic coatings, in this case odin. i’ve had a 13’ ford escape with db36 and now the bronco with hydro lite both failed in under a year…hydro lite only lasted 4.5 months 😜. so 2 layers of coating with monthly waxes to help with the highway abrasion should do the trick as of right now i’m stocked up with 7 different prosumer coatings and 3 pro coatings, odin is the latest addition

@AMI_Detail here with several coatings that I have and seen that perform also as self healing and they don't advertise themselves as that. Like I have experienced CarPro's Ck quartz, Gyeon Mohs, the Lithium Color Crush that is a detailing spray, At least I have noticed that when we take out our vehicles outside here. Something also is that if the clear coat is softer then the self healing factor is better seen than on an Audi which has a hard clear coat

Impressive cleaning from Loki
It is a really great product! I used it as a standard 256:1 pre-spray and bucket dilution for a "normal" rinseless wash with the Nemesis Sponge. No foaming issues going that route and slickness was better than Nemesis. A bit more costly, but only by a few dollars in the 16 oz and 6 bucks more in the gallon size. I think it's worth it for the added lubrication and wetting agent (I'm guessing on that second one... don't really have evidence other than it doesn't evaporate as quickly as Nemesis).
Let’s go 💯
I'm enjoying the learning experience. Still amazed at the slickness! I've got the Diva Rinseless towels in my cart as well as an Autofiber Mitt Slide... just wanted to add a bit more before ordering... KATIBA! KATIBA! KATIBA!
I like this idea and use ONR Hyper Foam (1/32 in IK foamer) with ONR Rinseless in the bucket. The sponge slides very slippery on the panels and neutralizes the foam. The washing experience and smell are wonderful
I'm glad you're getting great results. I think it was version 3 of ONR that I last encountered - both the blue one and the green one that left protection of some sort.
Nice! Can't wait to get Loki!

Awesome, Becca. Wasn't it crazy how slippery it is?
You need to keep the sponge to real soak - in order to collapse the foam or use double flips or a wash sponge You can also use like a rinsless 384:1 , 256:1 and use it in a sprayer thanks for the video
I compare it to loading a paint brush or roller... just on the verge of dripping, but loaded with liquid instead of emptied. It works great with that in mind AND the "extra" liquid makes drying that much better due to how slippery it is.
Interesting product for sure. I see it better used as hybrid wash where there’s a rinse in the middle. (I haven’t used Loki though)Even my foamy nemesis is hard to get the bubbles out of the cracks and crevices
@@jfarm_1311 My second try was on a vehicle that was simply too dirty. That ended up being a hybrid wash using hybrid wash. I'm sensing there is a very high chance that the dual meaning of hybrid wash is bound to cause confusion. Hybrid Wash the process or Hybrid Wash the product?
@ I’m not entirely sure. I think it’s meant to be jack of a few trades once you figure it out. It’s a very cool product, but I think I’ll stick to foam soap or rinseless. From how I interpret a sponge to work is it has to be dry enough to grab the dirt. If it’s totally wet to rinse the foam maybe the dirt would not make it into the sponge. Probably overthinking this at this point 🤣
@jfarm_1311 This morning, I used Loki as a traditional rinseless. Pre-sprayed with a pump sprayer, then used Nemesis sponge in a bucket. I stuck with traditional 256:1 dilutions. It worked great, just like a regular rinseless process, ONLY much slicker with excellent drying properties. The windows and piano black trim (whole roof on my Bronco Sport) cleaned up very nice with no streaks.
@ Nice. Was there still a lot of bubbles to deal with?
So Jamie made a video on his channel it I’ll chime in hybrid means the following Use it as a soap foam on and use it in the bucket like rinseless and remove a step and dry after contact wash Use it as a hybrid meaning foam on and then rinse off go into a rinseless Presoak with foam 2 oz in a foam sprayer snd contact wash with the same product Use it as a soap 3 oz Do the old way foam on pre soak contac wash with rinseless It’s what you want it to be like adg fusion or hybrid was from drive or hyper foam from opti
Great Video, Jason. Here are my thoughts after using it this last weekend. I absolutely loved being able to foam it down. I tried it with a pump IK foam pro, i tried it with an Amazon battery-operated foamer. I tried it with my AR power washer. I tried it with my Active 2.3, i tried it with my Ego pressure washer, and i tried it with my 600psi 18v ryobi pressure spray gun. All of them foamed fantastic and applied plenty of solution onto the vehicle at a ratio of 256:1. I used a bucket wash with the same ratio. Tried both sponge and double filp microfiber. If the sponge was more saturated with solution, it popped the foam bubbles nicely. The double flip, even less damp, never created much of any foam. My take away. The cleaning power is bar none better then any of the other dozen or more products Ive tested. The pull down of the foam pre-spray was the best Ive seen in a rinseless. The slickness while washing and drying was incredible. The ability to encapsulate the dirt was up there with any other rinseless. Drys really easy. No need to worry about water spots. Dried polymer reactivated easy. Also noted. Dont worry about if the panel has gobs and gobs of foam hanging on after your bucket wash. Just dry it off foam and all. The foam collapses easily in the drying towel i used a 16 x 16 and 24 x 24 liquidator. To test drying. Either towel would have dried my whole full sized crew cab truck. Only took me 30 minutes to wash the whole truck.
@@ConwayLStevens Thanks for the insight! I changed things for my next video, but still tried to approach the contact wash with a just on the verge of dripping Nemesis sponge. Everytime I was dunking and squeezing out the sponge, I made more foam in the bucket. Then I would drag that to the vehicle. Finally on my third try, I had watched Eddie using double flips and bringing more liquid to the panel to help collapse the foam. The a-ha moment hit me and I made that simple change... *mu-ah* Chef's Kiss!
great info, thanks for sharing! i was planning on foaming it on an rinsing it off, then adding it to bucket for a bucket wash…does that seem like a good plan i your opinion, it would definitely cut down the foam for sure what would you recommend for the bucket wash dilution
@@FrankoDetails 256:1 should work great. It is super slick and if you need a bit of foam, just agitate and it will suds up for you. You have that Green works sprayer, right? That would be a good option if you wanted to skip the rinse... That really depends on the level of dirt you are looking at tackling. My second attempt went sideways due to heavier than normal caked on layers of gravel.

I am still crunching numbers. I shared data with Steve Pierson to get another set of eyes to help with the analysis.
YES!!! but now people are going to b***h about it being TOO foamy 😆🐿️💨
Crazy part was that I was messing with the adjustment knob to back it off before I finally just said screw it... I'm just going to let it do what it does best. The coverage is actually more even than the S. Foam production is neck and neck between the two. If they fix the bottle and gain back consumer confidence... it will take the top spot from the S and/or Pro v2.
There is a thing as too much foam. If you're going to let something dwell, you want a good balance of foam and water so the water can aid in pulling contamination down. I've noticed this with Bilt Hamber touch-less. If the foam is too dry, it's less effective.
@@AMI_Detail nice! yeah i haven’t done anything testing with mine , been too cold and i’m wuss when it comes to the cold
I used Touch-less for the first time about a week ago. I really enjoyed the experience and thought it did an excellent job as a pre-wash. My Bronco Sport hadn't been washed for about a month and it was driven on snow, slush, salty roads, and a mix of wet/sloppy gravel with dusty dry gravel to give the car a really good test. You are absolutely correct on foam... I look for even coverage that sticks and isn't too "heavy." If the foam is so thick that it starts to pull itself apart and separate as it goes down the panel... it's not effective. Too watery isn't good either, as it simply runs off the panel too quickly. Contrary to many other UA-camr's, I belive the top adjustment knob is there to give the user CONTROL and allow you to back off the foam to just the right mix. I would rather have the head-room and simply use the controls to back-off to appropriate levels. Here's some examples: 1) Cars... mo' power baby... use the skinny pedal to drive appropiately - 2) Winter Snow/Ice Tires on ALL FOUR positions... you can stop and turn when needed... not just GO all out - 3) Summer Performance Tires... better DRY and WET performance than All-Season's (simply a compromise to meet all conditions) - 4) Big brakes... if you are going fast, you NEED bigger brakes to STOP - 5) PC / CPU / RAM... ever try to edit or transcode video on a celeron with 4GB memory? - 6) Pressure Washer System... the Dual Ryobi's are working for my situation and allows me the flexibilty to have better than Active 2.3 performance or simply drop back to a standard Ryobi, which is very common out in the real world, and people can get an idea of what to expect from their pressure washer... AND FINALLY 7) Foam Cannons... If the foam is crazy thick, simply use the knob and dial it back. If it's cranked all the way down and it's too watery, then that means that you will have very limited options to INCREASE the foam. Just my random thoughts :-)
@ i dig it!!! in my neck of the woods or lack there of, a touchless wash is kinda meh! we definitely don’t get the caked on grime that comes with slush and ice, salts and whatnots. but i can definitely see the benefit of a touchless pretreat for those who do have those conditions. i’ve been playing around with just using water to pretreat a rinse off grit with no foam, spoiler alert….it doesn’t scratch the clear coat my hydro lite failed in 5 months on my bronco and it’s time for another coating, the mazda that was coated with the same bottle 3 weeks before the bronco is still going strong ✌🏽🐿️💨
I think using a coated car reduces the chances of seeing differences.
I had similar results when I used the 4 rinseless washes on my uncoated Bronco Sport. It isn't huge differences, really just behavior when wiping with the sponge and also the dry-off. Crazy how similar DIY Detail and Hero behave as well how similar CLEAN and Nemesis act on the panel.
Turned out really well. I've not used Preludio much, but it seems to work. People say not to use it every wash, but i don't see why not. Just apply some more lsp afterwards.
Using it as a targeted treatment AND diluted at 10:1 sure keeps it safe. During the summer, if there are bugs on the front, it sure wouldn't hurt to use it at every wash.
Great job!
Thanks! I finally found a car worthy of Diamond Gloss.

The only classic car that I had was a '66 Mustang Coupe. It had the 289 V8 with 4 barrel carb... but mostly show with just a little go. Jump forward a few years and true muscle cars started to have respectable power!
@@AMI_Detail Umm classic, I had a 64 GTO convertible, bought it with the 389 tri power on its last leg, removed it, and put in a 327 4 bolt main with 375hp. It was a real fun car to drive. In todays world I seen one recently where they did a resto-mod with a LT 1 installed.
She's bright like a diamond 💎 ✨️ Good job, brother!
@@BrillianceAutoSpa Thanks for your comment. I'm working on more foam cannon content... I just had to finally get this one posted.
@AMI_Detail Griots foam cannon or foam cannons in general?
@@BrillianceAutoSpa I used Steve's weight method to test output on: Griot's Garage BOSS (no metering), TriNova, MJJC S v3.0, and newest addition... MJJC Pro v3. With his method, I tested all 4 with thee different orifices (1.1, 1.25, 1.35) AND with both a single Ryobi 1800 and Dual Ryobi 1800's. All in 1 hour!
@@AMI_Detail that's awesome 👌
I like that Chevelle, it's exactly the same my uncle had. Great Rinseless from Labocosmetica on both Preludio alkaline and acidic. Idrosave is good but it's like Optimum yellow Rinseless that has protection, they should have made a Rinseless without protection
@@1stfrompuertorico568 I was not a fan of the GREEN ONR. I have a 4.5L of Idrosave that I have never used. For me, the hybrid rinselesses work great and I haven't been thrilled about the polymer only solutions. Glad you enjoyed the Chevelle... It was fun to improve, preserve, and protect. It's been over a decade since I started a car that you had to pump the gas pedal... Ahhh what a joy!
@AMI_Detail never tried a green ONR, the only one I had was ONR v1 and V3, before that Quick & Easy Wash which was the original and ever 1st Rinseless. I also can't see the green or red colors because I am colorblind but I haven't used it😜
@@1stfrompuertorico568 I had both ONR Wash and Shine and ONR Wash and Wax. The ONR Wash and Wax was very streaky and really didn't work well for me. I am thinking that was around the time of V3.
Preludio Alkaline is a HAMMER on bugs. I love it.
@@tadeloach22 This was an extreme case. If it was a "normal" car, it would have been a good candidate for Bilt Hamber Touch-less, ADS Decon, or NXTZEN Foam Decon as a foaming pre-wash... But taking some extra time with this car didn't hurt. Labocosmetica makes a very versatile rinseless system with the Preludio options. I'll be using the Acidic soon for breaking down Winter mineral contamination. There hasn't been too much snowfall in my area, so none of the white calcium looking vehicles driving around... still have a couple of months to go.
@AMI_Detail I use the Detail Co hard wash but still pretreat bugs with the preludio rinsless. They just melt away for me and it makes them blow right off with the pressure washer
@tadeloach22 Detail Co is putting out some great products. B.D.E. is strong, but you know your safe with Labocosmetica Preludio. I'm still amazed at how well their Soft Wash foams AND cleans. Sometime I need to pull a DIY Detail trick and add a splash of B.D.E. to Soft Wash to give it a bit of a kick.
What made you want to go with something like this and use two at the same time? Cool that you were able to get this to work even though obsessed garbage said it wouldn’t work
@@WillieBeamin-t4v I was studying Matt Moreman's dual Krinzle setup and figured I could do the same with Ryobi's... A "poor man's" dual pressure washer setup. I had already "tuned" my Ryobi by swapping to a 2.5 nozzle and getting 1.25 GPM with 1,000 PSI. I had the items in my Amazon and a $20 off coupon at Home Depot. I figured I could go the Active 2.0 route, but that was $350+ (but limited to 2.0 GPM with 1,000 PSI). The final straw was when I saw Bob from Chem-X Siamese two Ryobi's. From his video, I knew my gut was right and I could get better than Active 2.0 and closer to Active 2.3 numbers. The one thing that Bob shared in his video was the addition of check valves. I don't see those in Matt's dual pressure washer setup, so that might be the key to why it works. I have been running these since late August 2024 with relatively no issues. I tripped the breaker once, but I was trying to run floodlights off of the same circuit. I am in a machine shop, so I have stranded 12 ga THHN wires running on a single 20 amp circuit, but to individual outlets. This is definitely maxing out the circuit. You could easily run these off two separate 15 amp circuits (even if one is on an extension cord to the other wall of your garage) as they are normally pulling 11 amps. It will go up to 13 amps with a foam cannon (1.25 orifice), but I just got an MJJC 1.35 orifice that should lower that demand AND make even more foam. One last note... People have commented about the loudness. They run at 82 dB and have a bit of a growl versus a whine. The thing that blows me away is that an Active 2.3 is over 100 dB with less performance than my system. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm sure enjoying the 2.5 GPM at 900 PSI rinsing and plenty of power to foam like crazy.
@ you got a reading of over 100db on your 2.3? Sounds like it might be a faulty unit? Most of the tests I’ve seen were anywhere in the 70-80db range.
@@WillieBeamin-t4v I was going on what I had heard on some reviews on the Active 2.3. I had a chance to watch about ten videos that had noise level measurements and it ranged from 85 dB to 94 dB. As with any noise level, distance makes a huge difference. I measured my setup standing right next to the units... about a foot away. One video I saw measured his Active 2.3 to be 92 dB at that same distance. Thanks for pushing me for some fact checking on the Active 2.3 noise level.
@ I wasn’t meant to push you at all was just curious because it seemed kind of high to me
@WillieBeamin-t4v I should have checked around the first time I saw that 100+ number mentioned. I thought the same thing. I thought it was strange that if the 2.3 was really that loud, how could it be so popular.
well shiver me timbers!!! 🐿️now that’s the way to scrub a poop deck💨
My son was working his way through the thousands of episodes of One Piece and jamming to pirate tunes. With a shared Amazon Music account, the most played is basically full of his musical choices. Sea Shanty Melody might have played a time or two and had some subliminal effect on me.
Hey Ami.. if you were covering the whole car, how many mils of product do you think you'd use compared to using a prediluted mix.
@RossT551 I am guessing it would be around 100ml. The 2% PIR that the Aqua tip outputs is equal to mixing 200ml with 800ml in a full foam cannon. If you are using straight GFX/GSF, it's thickness makes where you have to keep the adjustment knob at the max setting. Since it isn't drawing as well, it would be pulling less soap, this is why I estimate it would be around 100ml. The interesting thing in this video is you can pre-dilute at a 1:2 ratio (1 part water, 2 parts GFX) and you will get better foam and with the dilution, still use around the same 100ml of GFX to cover the whole vehicle.
@@AMI_Detail Thanks for the reply. I do find that quite interesting. If you were to make a prediluted mix, not using the metering tips would you use 100ml of product? I currently use 30ml of Carpro Reset in 500ml of water and it I can cover my car, (VW Golf R), in a nice layer of foam. Using MJJC Pro v2
I used Built-Hamber Touch-less for the first time this morning. Since the recommended PIR is 2%, I simply used the aqua metering tip and adjustment knob set to maximum. The viscosity is less than GSF/GFX, so there was no issue. It foamed awesome, cleaned awesome, with only 50 ml of product used to completely cover all of my Bronco Sport.
@@AMI_Detail I think i Need to go ahead and try these tips for myself. Thank you very much
