Hi… I prepared the pieces of fabric with steam a seam 2 lite. It is sticky. The paper is parchment paper so prepared fabric will not stick permanently to this base. I overlap the pieces when I am tracing and cutting them. Just a bit…When I iron the finished piece it stays together but is delicate still. Please see the other videos I made. Hi… I am not sure about the question? If you are talking about how long? You can make the body as long as you want. So it could be 8 by 8 by 3 inches deep. I made mine about 4inches long. You can mess around with the pattern. The only thing that you can change is the width ( size of frame) I hope this helps answer your question. Thanks!

I get my wool mostly from a local fiber art store here in Vermont. It is called North east fiber arts. I think they have a website. I also buy wool from “living felt “ in Texas. I think the heart is on the video where you make the little grey bag with the little note, I've made a couple of crossbody bags. I like to make my own fabric & this is just another way of doing it with the felting machine & quicker & then I like to use them to make unique bags or clothes for my Art dolls, love yr work, happy crafting 🙂

@ Wait!! Did you say ART DOLL? I have made Art Dolls too. They are all around my studio and home. Mine are made with an armature and then I sculpt them with wool. Hi… the machine i am using is a Janome FM 725. It has barbed felting needles. This is the only thing it does. It is great for embellishing fabric/ fibers. I found mine on eBay. Hope this helps. Thank you 💞

I have heard about a sewing machine foot that you can add to your regular sewing machine with the needles. I have not found one yet. If I find out any more information, I will share. thanks💞

I want to explore with some polyester. I do not think anything in this video is polyester. I wonder how it would adhere/ join to the wool. Looking forward to doing another video with different fabrics soon. Thanks for sharing 💞

@Reignvermont I think trying to adhere it as you would in felting put fabric on wool them place wool roving over the top ever so lightly & felt on that should hold it there, I'm going to try myself now to lol , I have a felting machine, it's brilliant , thanks for sharing yr work with us

The white felt is real wool. The rest polyester. I prefer real wool but for practicing and sample making the polyester is so much less expensive. I am thinking of now buying a yard of real wool in one color so I can experiment further. Something in a neutral color…I’m going to be covering it anyway. Real wool is so nice to work with. I am excited about this machine. Thanks 💞
