Dennis Wilson made this my favorite Beach Boys song. His vocals were so clear and harmonizing as the lead vocalist on this song. I became their biggest fan right there when I was 7 years old. Now, and forever I will always be a Beach Boys fan. America's Band and the never ending Youthfulness and never Ending Summer. You back in the day I just used to love his shows and his talent and reminds me so much. These boys had such great talent and made a lot of people happy. They shared a lot of beautiful memories. I was a little kid when my sister saw the monkeys in person, she went crazy her and her friend, used to make up stories like write letters to her friends pretend they were from them that they and with the Beatles she just told me today and it made me laugh so hard so much childhood memories. They were some good times and my generation it was all I’m 61. I used to leave. I love Leif Garrett Donny Osmond Shaun Cassidy Now this year 2000 something or 2010 I guess One Direction 2024 Zane Malik is a new heartthrob but all the b*****s it seems like I gotta fight them all. I’m sick of their b******t. They don’t know how to act some of these girls when it comes to Zane, I want them all so help me God we were never like that composure. These are getting out of control. I wanna beat them up so bad I want to put them in their place.

I'm a lesbian, David was the only man I fell in love with in my life, when I was a child, perhaps because of his delicate features, he is my favorite monkeey, when he died I cried for about 4 days in a row, I miss this good time, thanks for this.

Such a LOSS, as DAVY JONES was the First Monkee that the producers built the Band around; Sadly we Only have the multi-instrumentalist #MICKY DOLENZ still Alive today, but MAN Can he still Perform and #SING!

I had the sweetest pleasure of my life, seeing Davy perform and then meeting him... As with every teenage girl in the world wished, he was going to come find me and marry me! Such innocence... That was Nov of 2011... 4 months later he was gone... And like every woman of a certain age, in this world, I cried and grieved... Thank you Davy for being so kind to us... You were a class act and an amazing man.... the photo of you and I, is one of my most treasured possessions... You are missed by all your fans but most of all, you are missed the most by all the girls whose hearts you stole...😢

I have been a lifelong Beatles fan since 1963 when I was 10yrs old, and when The Monkees came along I was annoyed at all The comparisons to The Fab4 but as time went on I came to admire The Monkees and when they started playing their instruments and writing their own music I became a fan with Mike and Micky being my faves, but Davy was a lovely little lad with a lovely voice and Shades Of Grey is my all-time fave Monkees Track Davy and Peters voices are really cool. BEST Davy Jones Tribute I have seen on UA-cam and thanks for sharing! This VERY touching song really said it all on how we felt when we found out that Davy had died. I met him once after a show and he was a real gentleman. Davy, Peter and Mike left this life much too soon and may they all rest in peace.
