Nice video, but I don’t agree at all with what your conclusions are regarding pages. It is obvious that pages could be of amazing help to bloggers and people wishing to convey large amounts of information via one page of stuff to look at. But I do think you touched on a topic that is definitely one that they need to improve upon which is, therefile type structure. It is a bit wonky to say the least, and it is hard to find certain things after you have converted it to something else. I do agree completely with that assessment they need a more formal type of file structure. It is a phenomenal program and I use it every day also.

Hi David. 1 question, hope you can answer. I only need a video showing the text and tracking (highlighting) the text (like transcipting it) while text to speech reads synchronously. nothing else, its like a visual auto read noval. (like kindle whispersync a.k.a. read along, read aloud) .. so video should should whole text which fits to screen (like 1 page) but should continiously highlight the read part. Can descript do this ?

Interesting tool, thanks for the tutorial. I'll be honest, I'm bothered that people feel this is art that is created by humans, or that this is a normal 'tool' for an artist. To me, this is no different than asking a more talented artist to make art for you. I'd personally be pissed if I spent years training at art school, then upgraded my skills for the digital age, only to have tools like this come along and essentially allow anyone to do what I spent years trying to get better at on my own.
