It is a visual pleasure to see a group of musicians on stage, well dressed with their tube amplifiers and their analog gear. Unfortunately this is seen less and less .... hopefully I'm wrong.

I believe CHON is influenced by TOE as they are new kids in the math/post-rock scene. I listen to CHON too but they song never feels so touchy and deep as TOE.
