bass almost off good way around the darkness of this amp - I own one have a 10 band eq thru the effects loop cutting low end and bumping the 1 to 4 k abit sounds great almost plexi like - cutting the bass (Jeff Beck) would turn the bass off on his amps it seems to work well!

But it has no effects loop for that price it should!

How does it take pedals?

Great sound! I have one of these and trying to rebaseline myself on noise floor as I played it, put it on the shelf, and left it awhile. With the master above 2 (gets loud quick) do you seem to hear a bit of a white noise floor on the amp regardless of the channel settings, I think its still a pretty good signal-to-noise ratio but there is a white noise on mine? I see the volumes are pretty high so I expect it to be pretty loud. The white noise is particularly noticeable on the clean channel. My tech gave it a clean bill of health and couldn't identify the noise.

I have to say that this is the best tone I've heard from any demo of this amp so far. Including all the usual heavy hitters. This is what people that are interested in this type of amp want to hear. Just give us the core tone of the amp straight in. All the promoting videos are cluttered fizzed out with delays, reverbs and chorus pedals. Could you tell us what speaker cab and guitar/pickups you're using hear.

did you use an attenuator or something in this demo? cause I think I can clearly heard you picking your string over the amp, but the tone sounds still good with such a low volume! So I wonder if it's originally that good even with a low volume, or it's the work with an attenuator.

Really nice sound like plexi modified as versatility amp.

One of the best sounding amps ever made in my opinion. There was no reason for versions 2 and 3. Nice playing.

What amp where you using and did you run the 250 preamp into the plexi tone or after?

Cant beat a Friedman, and with the plexi tone you have serious amount of gain!!
