I'm a artist all my life .. and this is the kind of art I live and die for. It wasn't made out of thought of money it was made to be the best looking animated movie ever made no matter the cost. Wow... And it was so much of an undertaking he never even got to finish it. It's an inspiring tale

One Eye is resting on a Chaise Lounge of thick girls, then he commands them into a throne, to which they comply acrobatically. Ladies akimbo cross their legs demurely. It's good to be the King.

i didn't notice until watching this the 100th time. but the camp of the one eye is propped up by the War Machine. that was what Zig Zag was looking at with such fear in his eyes. you can even see its 5 legs in the one eyes reflection

It genuinely hurts how expressive this animation is. The pure meekness and sadness you can feel from poor Fido sheepishly asking for food at 0:32 always makes me feel so bad for the little guy, he's just so cute and ZigZag does NOT deserve him

How did he get motion blur (at least that's what it looks like) in stop motion in 1933?! Is it an artifact of some work in the restoration or original to the film?
