Actually, Lugansk 24 on R2 broadcasts in PAL. The colour on the video from the tuner is false, because most likely the tuner is based on Conexant CX2**** or Fusion BT8*8 chip, they can see colour from nothing. (SECAM subcarriers are easy to detect, at +4.406 MHz from the video carrier frequency, for example) I must say, 1TV on R3 from the same Lugansk tx broadcasts in pure SECAM, but it has less power

I wonder if there's still analog sat TV broadcast anywhere. About 5 years ago I read rumors online that somewhere in South America there still were a few analog sat channels, and maybe in some middle east countries. Probably impossible to receive South American sattelites here in Central Europe, but middle east is possible. I wish I had a dish installed...

In my country Philippines is still broadcast analog tv (NTSC 3.58)

I used to have an analogue satellite receiver next to cable TV in the Netherlands. Satellite receiver was used to watch Turkish channels. Since we were Turks in the Netherlands. I also had some box that could decrypt those scrambled channels. The audio wouldn't work though.

Great reception. I only wish that some analogue TV still existed here in Australia.

We have analog tv in Romania

I remember seeing the red specks on our TV with a faulty antenna. Later computer tuners were particularly bad with SECAM reception. I could put pressure on the cable to lower the noise. We had one channel from Russia on cable as the last holdout. Apparently they used pure analogue distribution back then, or would have otherwide recoded everything to PAL.
