    Thank you for putting together this video. I have 5 of the Flat Pack Storage Boxes that I carry in my Jeep. I'm still trying to get organized. I want to see if you've thought about using the STORAGE BOX FOAM DIVIDERS? I know the dividers are slightly taller than the Flat Box.

    • @bluox
      @bluox 23 дні тому

      Organization is always a goal for me and I don't think I will ever be completely satisfied. I do not use the dividers because most of the stuff in my storage boxes is large enough to make them unusable. If I was storing a lot of smaller things they would probably help find stuff a lot easier. Good luck on your organizing efforts and thanks for watching!

    • @bluox

      The stock hardware is a completely round nut that is attached to the bracket. Once the nut breaks free of the bracket it will just spin. When I originally replaced the nut I used a lock nut plier on it and then replaced it with a standard nut. Good luck and thanks for watching!

    First let me say , there is NO WAY !! I'd live with or be ok with the tire denting my brand new JT !!! I'd absolutely be contacting the company and demanding it repaired since the product malfunctioned ans caused the damage... but to each there on I guess lol. Second I appreciate the video/ insight of the tire carrier !!! Thirdly I'd really like to know about some other product choices you've gone with such as the rock rails/step & I noticed the blue tailgate addition , something you've made or purchased ? And from who ? Thanks !!! She looks good !!!! I'm gonna check out your other videos!!

      Thanks for watching! Some of my other videos cover a lot of those other items but the tailgate cover is from mountainhatch.org/ and I love it. I have banged them up pretty good and they continue to work very well. Hit me up if you need any additional info.

    Blu Ox, I've had my Swing-Out bumper for about 1.5 years now. I want to disassemble the swing-out carrier/arm and regrease the bearings. Have you done this yet? If so, how in the heck do you get it off.

    • @bluox
      @bluox 5 місяців тому

      I have not done that, mine is working fine and I just don't feel like messing with it. I thought about it and I have a big channel lock plier that fits and I think I would try wrapping the cap in duct tape and then use the pliers on it. Let me know how it goes for you as I am curios. @@bluox I think that was my issue. I could unscrew the cap with my hands. It's not my daily driver and stays in the garage most months. Last fall I performed ALOT of leaf removal (over 1000 lbs easy). I think the dirt from packing/transporting/dumping the leaves at a local dump left alot of room for tiny particles to make their way down the arm. The arm began to bind. Anywho, I took it to a shop this morning and they said it just looks like the bearings need to be regreased so they used a marine grease spray and then a crimson valvoline grease. They said, if after a couple weeks there isn't any improvement then they would remove the arm for me so I can give it a deep clean.

    Thanks for the video👍 this helps me a lot, I’ve been staring at the wiring harness for days, and could not figure out if I’m supposed to wire that to red positive individually to each switch but it looks like you connect both red positive together on the KC harness and then wire those two on to One switch OEM wire? Then the white wire I’m assuming is a positive wire which gets connected individually? Is there a reason both red wires get connected together, is that how KC designed it? Or did they design it so the red wires were individual so the upper and lower lights are separate? If that makes any sense but I will copy what you did this helps a lot thank you!!!!

      So 2 reds to aux switch, 1 white to low power aux switch then black to ground and that’s it right?

      The bottom of my jack tray is currently sitting at 39 inches off the ground but it could be lowered another 2 inches. At 39 inches with my 48 inch high lift the top of the jack is at 87 inches. Thanks for watching!

      I should have added that those heights are with a 3.5" lift and 37" tires.

      @@bluox is it even with roof or goes over roof? Or below roof. I'm getting this bumper tire set up. But Not sure if jack is to high to get in my garage. I got a 2 inch Terra flex level kit and 35s

      My roof is at 80 inches with my lift and tires and the jack extends 7" beyond that. If I put the mounting plate all the way down the jack would be at 85". With your lift and tires your roof would be about 76 inches and the jack would be at 81" when mounted at the lowest point.

      @@bluox so jack is going about 4 inches above roof? I don't think I'm gonna be able to get in my garage with jack. I'm surprised there isn't a smaller jack I can mount to this

    How would you rate the trails compared to Union Springs to Flagpole? I assume Daniel is harder, but Dickey and the others?

      @@td7122 That makes perfect sense. Did you stop by the Outpost and pick up one of the free paper maps? It makes it a little easier to plan a route.
