They said her character was dumb in the 1978 version, having taken over a factory that had existing pipes and irrigation. This one's even dumber. Not only has she taken oversight of a factory with plumage, she actively has people mopping the floor. Seriously, that's even worse, as it brings more water near her when sanitation should be the least of her concerns. And she taunted and threatened a girl's life with a knife with the bucket right there withing reach and laughed evilly, distracting her. The old one wasn't this stupid. She didn't install the sprinklers, but this version of her allows plumbers to maintain the water mains rather than shut them off.
