The Ring nebula also known as M57 or NGC6720 is a bright planetary nebula in Lyre. Found between the stars Beta and Gamma Lyrea. This is a deep look at the hydrogen that was first expelled from the red giant stage into space. Extremely faint and didn't show up on a single 5 min ha sub. www.buymeacoffee.com/Sevenskiesastro

Great result Rob. Those Ha regions really popped.
@@LogansAstro thank you Logan really appreciate it mate. I think its definitely my best M33 for sure and happy with the way its turned out. Clear skies.
I am curious to know if that project is now simply collecting dust or do you still do imaging with it? I see your A71 toy seems to dominate all the subsequent videos. I have two fairly large Meades I'd love to convert but wonder if the field flattener is as effective as the hyperstar? There are methods to use them in the larger meade also but far more expensive.
Hello Wayne. I've not stopped as such just not had the will. Its the learning of cad thats holding me up a little. I do need to get back on it and i should upload my plans i have up to now. Clear skies
Great image Rob, I would be very pleased with it as well 😀
@@billwright9518 thank you Bill yes very happy. Clear skies mate.
Great video Rob, you do have to watch Blur X sometime mate! Wow, that ha really popped out there, awesome M33 Rob, great work! Clear skies 😊
@@SimonsAstro thank you Simon much appreciated mate. I will keep an eye out in future for sure. Clear skies.
Great video Rob, interesting about using BlurX after combine too, great image at the end…👍🏻
@@Astro_Shed thanks Stewart. I may well do a bit more testing on that one for sure. Though i could still have applied it again do i really want to be running blur X 4 times. Clear skies mate.
Very nice Rob been spending some time on M31 at Kelling so we shall see what it looks like when i get round to processing it
@@dumpydalekobservatory thanks Tich. Hope you had fun mate. Captured m31 myself recently with the widefield setup. Looking forward to your image. Clear skies
Great image
Thank you so much. Clear skies bud.
Another Excellent image Rob! I agree with Tony Elliott comment you do very well in your light pollution skies. I enjoyed your processing technique. The final result popped out nicely my friend.
Thank you Tam my friend. Yes happy with the final image though could really have done with some more Ha data. Would like to move out of london next year or so fingers crossed. Clear skies.
Hi Rob another great image my friend you do really well from your light polluted location
Thank you Tony means a lot. Im quite happy with the image. Would love darker skies for sure. Clear skies my friend
Beautiful result there Rob. I must try out that AdvSharpening - looks like it does a great job. CS
Very nicely done Rob I did image this a couple of years ago but weren't overly happy with it, maybe I'll have another go sometime. Clear skies
Thank you Tich. Its always nice to revisit a target too and see if you've improved over the years. Thanks for watching. Clear skies mate.
Fantastic image Rob love the details and colour, that's for sharing your data
@@Tony-Elliott thank you Tony for your support i appreciate it mate. Hope you have a play with the data. Clear skies mate.
Terrific shot. Thanks for sharing your data, it will help me learn how to process.

Great image Rob, keep up the good work 👏

Great video Rob, and a very nice result on the final image…👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Stewart. That little run of clear nights we had helped a lot. Clear skies mate
Excellent image Rob. There really is no substitute for increased integration time.
Thank you Pete much appreciated. Yes definitely no substitute for integration time. Though we don't always get it here in the uk as you know. Clear skies mate
Great job! A beautiful image!!!
Thank you im pleased with it. Clear skies.
Cool 👍
Great image. Camera? Filters? Subframes exp? Total integration?
Hello. The camera is an asi 533 mc pro. Each sub was 5 minutes. Total integration time was 9 hours 15 minutes taken through a Optolong L enhance filter. Hope this helps and clear skies.
@@sevenskiesastro Yes. So the L enhanche bring out the h-alpha line? And another why the 533 instead of the 294?
@@MrMa1981hello. I simply dont have a 294 camera. I do use my dslr which is close to that size. Its on my widefield setup.
@@sevenskiesastro So it's a FOV choice. But about that red of Hydrogen gasses: came out with the the filter or the camera? Congratulation for the pinpointed stars as such small FOV. You have to master the guiding section.
Great work Rob mate!! Good on ya! :-D
@@lukomatico thank you Luke really appreciate it mate. Clear skies my friend
Great image and nice to see your workflow. CS
@@LogansAstro thank you Logan. Clear skies bud.
Very nice Rob always found the bubble nebula a tricky one to process
@@dumpydalekobservatory thanks Tich. Yes its got some strong contrasting areas. Clear skies mate.
Good processing Rob, I use some of the same scripts, but not some others, I will have a look at the others, cheers mate 👍

Another fantastic tutorial Rob! Which is always down to earth (Pardon the pun). I enjoyed your processing on the bubble nebula, the final image is excellent loved the choice of palette. Excellent result Rob. Both versions look great, CS
Thank you Logan much appreciated. Clear skies bud
Excellent result Rob, I think both images equally nice, although I tend to lean more towards HOO and SHO as well as I like seeing blue in my images.
Thanks Pete. Yes I do like a little blue myself. Clear skies bud
Two great images Rob I like the HOO one best, thanks for sharing your again date mate
@@Tony-Elliott thank you tony i prefer the Hoo too. Enjoy the data. No everyone can image afterall. Clear skies mate
Both great results Rob I haven't imaged in ages I should really get my act together.
@@dumpydalekobservatory thank you tich. Yes please get imaging again. Clear skies mate.
Mind me asking why 0c and not -5 or -10 ? Great result either way :)
@@jesuschrist2284 hello. Yes the difference in read noise is negligible with the modern cmos sensor. I find it saves on the power consumption to. It was also rather warm when i imaged plus 25 degrees so i didnt want to do the minus 5 or 10. Thanks for watching. Clear skies
@@sevenskiesastro yeah i was concerned trying to run mine at -10 but i think there is a big difference in thermal noise between 0 and -5. I paid for cooling and damit im gonna use it :) Until i get frosting issues ;(
Awesome and fantastic space views, Fabulous presentation, Brilliant and Incredible work 👍👍✨

Looks Pretty nice!! Its been cloudy here like Crazy since a month, duh!
Thank you Avanteesh. Hopefully the sky will clear soon mate. Clear skies
Nice processing run through. Wasn't aware of the banding removal tool so something I will tuck away in my memory if required. StarX unfortunately often removes nebulosity, particularly thin wispy stuff Russell is apparently working on a fix as we speak. Nice final image. CS
@@LogansAstro thank you Logan. Yes I saw that in your video about it taking fine nebula out. I've taken more dslr images with a larger dither which seems to help immensely. Clear skies bud.
Nice tutorial and great image
Thank you nika. Clear skies to you.
Great video mate & cracking image to

Not tonight mate we're on holiday in Whitby although I did bring an old star tracker so maybe try a milky way shot while we're here.
Hi Rob, super Pixinsight tutorial mate! You sorted that banding out nicely, and it’s not overcooked, great image Rob👍 Clear skies mate!
@@SimonsAstro thank you Simon means a lot. Theres plenty of space between the different members which made the banding a bit challenging. Im pleased with it though. Clear skies mate
