OMG, where´s Explosions in the Sky with First Breath After Coma?, i touch the heaven with that song
@@wiltonzapata love that track name this band doesn’t miss, though you can watch my video all EITS albums ranked and I explain lol
Couldn't agree more. Got to in/casino/out thinking oh shit this list is my list but obviously I'd put Full Collapse in first place...
Check out Coldrain, they’re a Japanese band but all their songs are in English. Their newest album is Nonnegative and it’s pretty good, a little numetal reminiscent.
Favorite Albums October 2024 Balance And Composure- "with you in spirit" Grand Magus- "Sunraven" Bilmuri- "AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS (420CC EDITION)" Blood Incantation- "Absolute Elsewhere" Great Lake Swimmer- "In Pieces: An Acoustic Retrospective (2024 Acoustic Retrospective)" Hazlett- "Goodbye to the Valley Low (Side B)" James Bay- "Changes All The Time" Leon Bridges- "Leon" Matt Pond PA- "Call and Response" Soccer Mommy- "Evergreen"
Hey, some interesting records there. Yasmin Williams is on my list to check out. I read a couple of good reviews of her new album. I confess I'm not really into death/black metal. A bit too shouty for me, though I like some of the guitar riffs. GV!BE, Epic! Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Thanks for watching! yeah Yasmin is very talented and I understand with the DM/BM lol,
Great tipps as always! THX!
What is the first song?
@@Anton-wq3rz I can’t find this track in their discography. I assume it’s new
Lost Spiderland?
Quite a few new ones to me. I have albums by DIIV and Alcest, but not those ones. Slouvaki and Loveness would be my #1 and 2, too. A few to check out. Nice video. Thanks for the suggestions. I might do a top 10 shoegaze myself. Cheers
@@andysalbums thanks for watching and can’t wait for your ‘10 shoegaze’ albums! Cheers!
Some great choices. There are 2 or 3 I don't know and will check out. A couple on my want list, too. Nice video. Cheers
Heroine by From First to Last is probably my favorite. Skrillex gotta get back on his emo shit asap
the glue rules!
I came here hoping to see glassJAw. Im terrible at sub genres but should they have been considered for this list?
@@eancurtis they are labeled in the genre but they are heavy for this genre IMO. I love glassjaw and see them more on the heavier realm of posthardcore.
Pink?. I have the yellow vinyl. I’m glad I’m going to see them live in Manchester, England. (There’s only one Manchester). I love French, it’s not hard to pronounce.
@@racheladkins6060 no this is not their record spinning. All my videos start with this intro of a pink record. Yes can’t wait to see them in Austin TX of 2025!
Nice picks! A few in there I haven't heard - definitely need to check out Pyrrhon!
Deerhunter has had a number of very good albums.
@@tameimpala37 yeah they can’t miss
'Alligator' by The National is a special album.
@@tameimpala37 agree ❤️
I stillll falll apart
Bring me the horizon is pretty lame compared tonthese bands, right?

dude so many new ones for me ! just jammed nails today
Nahtrunar - Hrima a great black metal also. Loved the New Fulci. Great selections.
@@robertenleed-q3r damn this good 💀 thanks for the rec
Love the LC! mention. I honestly think All Hell has shot its way up to my favorite album of all time, it's just so good and combines so many amazing elements that I love from their previous albums and adds so much new stuff. I've always loved how the band isn't afraid to just write what they want to write and not try to imitate what worked before.
Yeah it’s awesome and love ‘sick scenes’ and ‘romance is boring’ albums. This album will be up there for the end of the year.
Greetings from Colorado
have you heard the new And So I Watch You From Afar album?
I have not heard it yet but enjoy some of their older albums! How’s is it? And I’ll visit it soon!
@@C.good2damax it's rad, just saw them live with Caspian.
@@idkidk-i9g gawd I miss the show in Austin a month ago. I bet that was a show for the books!
So glad these dudes found each other. All their stuff is amazing and their new record is mind blowing.
These albums are far from your bad ass metal selection, but great nonetheless, and could serve as an excellent palate cleanser in between the metal 🤘 😀 Favorite albums, July 2024, in alphabetical order: Beta Radio- Waiting for the End to Come Cigarettes After Sex- X's Clairo- Charm Compilation- Petty Country (A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty) Dr. Dog- Dr. Dog Donovan Woods- Things Were Never Good If They're Not Good Now Highly Suspect- As Above, So Below Matt Pond PA- The Stars Sleep in the Sea Pat Matheny- Moon Dial Koe Wetzel- 9 Lives ROLE MODEL- Kansas Anymore The Red Clay Strays- Made By These Moments toe- Now I See The Light Wild Rivers- Never Better Zach Bryan- The Great American Bar Scene
@@jeremysette3657 thanks for watching and for sharing your list. Tell me about it tho I’ve been out of the indie electronic world but always willing to listen to something new. Cheers! How is the toe album? In your opinion?
Nice list. Sad to see no MONO in there. My all time fav is their 'Hymn to the Immortal Wind'. Burial at Sea is my all time favourite track.
@@Kasim2k3 yeah trust me I like Mono and ‘you are there’ almost made the list. Thanks for sharing your favorite album!
Children of the moon is fcking amazing!!!
@@h0pesfall yeah it is and I have been listening to it more as it took some time to grow on me. Masterpiece 🔥
Coming from mainstream I'm surprised how much I'm falling in love with this album, can't stop listening. Transfiguration and Leviathan have somehow become my favorites. The beginning of the album leading into Palo Santo is truly a trip, it's great how they sampled that government experiment audio recording. Reviewers were saying it's challenging to listen to this album from beginning to end, but somehow Johnny's dissonant emotive style becomes the perfect counterpoint to the soaring guitars and epic drums. This album has the potential to become a classic if a newbie like me can't stop playing it, haha!
Thanks for doing this I enjoyed your video, I'm considering doing a similar video in the near future, I was unfamiliar will all these albums, you might be interested in the albums in my top 20 coming from a British guy of a similar age to yourself, much thanks 🙏
@@vinyldale Awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. I can’t wait to see your video. I’m no expert at this, but most importantly I just want to share my experience and I know other ppl have a different taste in indie rock. There is always a pinch of albums on someone’s list that you didn’t t know existed. Thank you for watching and I’m subscribing to see your video.
@@C.good2damax your absolutely right I'm interested in your number 1 album, I will get myself a copy, much appreciated, returned the gesture, my video will be up tomorrow, all the best
Hey man thank you so much. As you mentioned a lot of screamo i also have a band called No estás... we will release an album soon
Awesome! Thank you for creating badass music and love the new album. I'll be sure to listen to No Estas. Cheers!!!
How come there are no albums from the 90s, I feel like Post-Rock peaked there
@@dogmanbitehurt8243 I guess I was too young but I do like some old mogwai, tortoise, do make say think, and Godspeed. What are your favorites?
@@C.good2damax I love the so-called First Wave Post-Rock (or Lost Generation for the U.K. bands) scene. It was such an original and eclectic movement, and it was the British bands that started in the 90s that Simon Reynolds referred to when coining the term “Post-Rock”, which he essentially defined as rock instrumentation for non-rock purposes. Some of my favorites from this era are: Disco Inferno - D. I. Go Pop (or really their entire discog from Summer’s Last Sound onwards) Gastr del Sol - Camoufleur Bark Psychosis - Hex Tortoise - TNT Stereolab - Dots and Loops Long Fin Killie - Houdini Moonshake - Eva Luna
@@dogmanbitehurt8243 wow I have only heard Tortoise, Moonshake, and Sterolab. Thanks for sharing your favorites. I will listen to the ones I have not heard.
Anti-capitalism*
Nice picks dude! A few in here that I havent heard, so thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks dude. I pick my top 10 of the month but when I see your channel I just mention Metal bands because there can be a handful of Skramz bands lol so I leave them out and add more metal that I have listen to on your comments.
War all the time is my favorite album
thx
What It Is To Burn would be my #1 lol but nice list 👌🏼
@@nathalieee2884 thanks for watching! Glassjaw and Finch were right behind this top 10 list.

Had to delete this video earlier due to malfunctions in the middle of the video. Enjoy!
no MONO?
‘You are there’ almost made it. I just really love these albums more. Have you heard the new album? Pretty good
@@C.good2damax One More Step is my pick but its probly nostalgia talking. As for their new stuff I saw them live not long ago.
@@Hexus13th epic 🔥
Your a cool looking dude talking about explosion in the sky 😂😂
Haha you are cool for watching ❤
Solid list, props for adding BtEoT, hometown homies. They are usually overlooked. I actually started one of the first post-rock bands in Texas called Enloom. Currently releasing my debut “solo” album dedicated to post-rock and featuring many inspiring artists from the community. Take a peek.
Dope dude! Yeah man I love BTEOT! Check out my math rock video they are in there with a different album. Cool thanks I will check out your project and thank you for sharing! Stay up!
@@C.good2damax They got such a fun unique vibe, it’s infectious! I will most certainly, dig the videos. Cheers!
Solid list gotta revisit that #1
I remember we listen to my number after that brand new show back in 07 in your room in the backyard. 🙌🏼
My personal top 3 is The Earth is not.., How Strange, Innocence and Those who tell the truth.. in no particular order, these albums really dragged me into Post-Rock, while worst in my opinion is similar with you, i didnt really liked it, i dont have even one track from The rescue, for me its just decent album.
Dammmmm gotta revisit this sound lol . Memories unlocked
just a tip, try to make the song volumes the same relative volume as your voice. a lot of points in this vid it got very loud then very soft after showing off a song example. great vid tho!!
Thanks and I appreciate the tip! Yeah I understand it is loud and it can get loud for the demo tracks. Next video I’ll tone it down.
great vid! I love a good personal top 10 and hearing why some bands are so important to some people. Cheers from The Math-Rock Review 👍
