Hi! Just started a new game again after I quit due to mob density...but I can't find the modifiers anywhere. Where can I find them and how does they work?

Level design is too much....they tried WAY too hard to make it confusing to the point its not fun. Wouldn't be bad if there weren't too many mobs and mobs didn't constantly spawn in umbral but yeah..

It help if you use customization, fashion a 'bad ass' looking toon. The armor styles can take you places. I like how I was totally lost, first play through, even while doing Fightin Cowboy's walkthrough, which is very very thorough. And by 3rd walkthrough, I know the quests and places to go and places to be in umbral. Difficult game to play once and feel you 'understand.'

I really like the game. I understand the criticism but not the hate.

I haven’t seen anyone saying this but I wish they would’ve let us chose if we wanted a dash or roll dodge when locked on. I know you can press O twice for a roll when locked on but it’s just not the same. It might sound crazy but to me the dash just doesn’t seem quite right for the flow of this game, I think it’s the shorter distance you travel and how quick the dash is, it just kinda messes up the flow for me on a lot of the boss fights cause I can sit there while not locked on and roll everything perfectly.

Yes this game has its problems, yes im aware of that, but i still like it, hell i like farcry 6 yet despise the story, we are allowed to like things that arent good, pizza for example, absolutely terrible for you, yet we all love it dont we?

I loved the game as well. Boss fights were really cool. The fact that you can parry boss attacks makes the fight soo cool

I liked the game a lot. I did a dex daggers build 1. Playthroughy then swapped to imfernal radiance, neber swapped back^^

Maybe a bit late, I've been playing patch 1,5. It's honestly a very good game. Don't play it like dark souls, play it like LotF. Use every mechanics included. It's very rewarding.

This game is very underrated..I went for the umbral ending first playthrough with a pure radiance build and had a blast ..I absolutely love this game ..I just don’t understand all the hate from some UA-camrs ..I never seen the first hickup or frame drop of any ..it’s runs great on ps5 ..but I never played it at launch ..which I never play a game at launch ..I really hope this game gets the credit it deserves and a sequel..✌🏻

Garbage game

I'm 150 hours in it and I haven't even finished the game yet. Love it now, but was really hard to engage with it in the beginning. Preordered it and only now I am playing to finish it. I suppose the hard part is getting used to the dual worlds sort of speak. But the game turned out to be quite good

Picked up v1.5 because it's on sale for 50% off. I do think it has some baked-in balancing issues/design flaws but my main issue is that some enemy (physical) attacks are magnetized to you. I just don't like that type of mechanic in a Soulsborne and I struggle to think of another Soulsborne I've played that does it in such a glaring fashion. Outside of that, I think the game is pretty damn fun and most of the other things that people complain about don't really bother me. I do think the balancing is really off at times though. I can't even imagine what this game would have been like on Day 1, lol. Thank God for NG0+, I made it midway but started over because I just wasn't being as effective as I wanted to be and I was tired of simply running through most areas. Now I feel like I can engage with the game in a proper way but it's also disappointing because I feel like the balancing just isn't there at times. In Souls games I never want an easy mode or to cheese things but this game just feels so off at times so cheese it is because when the game shines it really shines and I want to see it through solo, then do some coop, and maybe unlock some different endings, lots of content to have fun with. Not a terrible game at all. Hopefully the devs tighten things up in the sequel, I'll definitely pick it up as I'm sure it'll be an improvement on some already fantastic ideas for the genre.

I loved the game, my only criticism is that there is only one moveset for each type of weapons.

I got my first console, a PlayStation, in my 40’s for Gran Tourismo 2, I believe. I played a few games in the ensuing years. But I really got into Borderlands, then the entire Destiny franchise. A friend talked me into trying Elden Ring and. I found that to be Ana amazing experience. Next he talked me into trying LotF. It was a bit rough at the start. But, I stuck with for a while. I just recently started a new character and in less than 2 weeks finished the new play through. At 68, I don’t claim to be an expert gamer. But I do enjoy LotF. I’m looking forward to The Final Phase and the Elden Ring DLC coming in June.

The final boss for the umbral ending to me was fantastic, tough yet fair. Required all my concentration but I'm not the greatest at these games lol. (How the hell I managed to get the 3 endings for this game and become elden lord is beyond me haha.) The armor and weapon designs are fantastic and I enjoyed doing exacter dunmire's and stomand's quests as a paladin, the tortured prisoner and delarosa's quests when I sided with adyr as an inferno dual wielding short sword guy. A couple for the umbral ending and now I'm on my 4th playthrough doing strength and agility with no magic. Which is tough because the magic is sick imo. I got the deluxe edition for half price about two weeks ago and this might be the only game I get the platinum for. I would have been happy to pay full price tbh. Cool vid btw. Glad u enjoy it too.

Love the game. Started back playing again several weeks ago. Been playing new game plus and having just as much fun as my first playthrough. I hope we get a dlc for it.🤞🤞🤞

Still has lag and glitches

I wish Elden Ring/FromSoftware would do something like this. I know there are mods, but something like this would be awesome.

I have lords of the fallen for ps5, but my game says it’s version 1.44. When I go to check for updates it says there are none. How do I get version 1.5?

Been playing other games waiting for this game to get enough updates to catch my attention maybe it’s now time to do that. Thank you for the video

Maybe I'm so positive on this game because I only started deep diving into it within the last month, so maybe the patches kept me from seeing the worst of the complaints. I'm loving the world and the overall gameplay. Decided to go with an agility build (blackfeather starter) and used axes for a good while at first (either dual-wielding or single with the purger axe once I started leveling it). Now I've switched over the Fitzroy's sword but may try dual-wielding it with the purger axe. Great review vid. You earned another new fan/new subscriber.

You brought a point so solid, made me rethink everything. Because i also love this game, i just finished it and i plan to keep playing it until Elden Ring DLC. You said: "people play the game to beat the game, i play it to learn it". Most of the criticism, technical issues obviously aside, is so unfair. People was expecting Elden Ring level of gameplay, and this is not Elden Ring, is something new. I feel it's heavily inspired by FS work, mostly DS2 and DS1, but it has a tool for you to overcome every challenge some people call "bullshit" like the mimics, or the ganks. You have kicks, soulflays, especial moves that are pretty much an AOE, giving you an arsenal of tools to plan how you tackle an area, an enemy or a boss. I find this to be fantastic. And i feel, mechanically, and gameplay-wise this is one of the best in the new generation of the genre.

I really like it cause of the Atmosphere. A dark Medieval land Cursed by The Darkness Horrid Monsters and vile Humans turned savage around every corner

I'm not fussed about the mobs. I found that there weren't enough varieties of enemies. Felt like I was fighting the same enemies over and over.

I love his game it kinda feels like a more casual souls like that i can just kick back play fight and explore and try all sorts of wacky cool things. feels almost like a souls sandbox of sorts, it was a nice change of pace from lies of p that I beat right before this, which by contrast is very sweaty and boss focused. I loved lies of p as well.

Did you like the 10 worst designed bosses in Elden Ring? If yes you will like these bosses as well. The first boss actually is aweseme though. But the rest is not even fun learning. I dont enjoy fighting a boss who is jizzing on me from 3 directions plus giving AoE and healing himself at the same time.

the biggest gripe with the game is the fact that tancred phase 1 and Hushed Saint have the exact same moveset, also mini bosses are being recycled as normal enemys literally after 2 minutes walking time

Kids jump on to what the top streamers say. Some of which didn’t even play the game correctly lol. Then you have the lower tier streamers trying to jump on the hate wagon with the bigger streamers.. this new generation of hating everything because it doesn’t cater to you or because you don’t understand it is beyond frustrating and TERRIBLE for the gaming industry. We won’t get better games from these developers with tons of potential if we act this way. It’s pathetic honestly. This game was a solid 8.5/10 for me. Maybe even a 9. Got my ass kicked a bunch but it felt so rewarding coming back and overcoming. F the haters.

Thanks for the vid, I’ve always known about pro mod growing up but I was on console. I just downloaded cod4 on steam and have been playing some pro mod for the first time.

I was very surprised by the hate storm around this game. Yes it's far from perfect, yes there are aspects of it that can be annoying. But overall it is a very generous game, with a sick atmosphere, and a lot of different builds to play with. I really enjoyed it. It seems to me that a lot of people tend to be fanboys, and feel the urge to take sides when there's really no need to. And in this instance, I feel most of the hate comes from people who use their destruction of LotF to promote Lies of P, great game in its own merit by the way. I never understood that way of thinking. To me both games are very solid entries in the souls genre. But apart from base souls mechanics, I don't think comparing them is actually relevant. They are very different game. But yeah this game gets way too much hate, to a point where it's getting kinda ridiculous.

The reception it got was odd to me too. Its not like we are getting more dark souls, and this is about the best we can hope for as a result. I enjoyed the game for what it was.. a love letter to dark souls and a flattering defacto sequel from anorher developer. It reminded me of knights of the old Republic 2... Its not as good, but still decent. Beggars cant be choosers.

I love this game. I for once loved the mob density, as DS and Elden Ring are actually quite easy, compared for example with Nioh, Sekiro, Wulong, the surge...so I apretiate fighting a lot hahah. All the orher criticisms sound like bunch of babies crying.

This game is like darksouls. Frustrating and hard. There so meny things they got in common. The souls players that hates this game are the once who just wanna play elden ring instead.

Glad to see LotF getting some love,it deserves it. Not a flawless game by any means,but pretty fun. The atmosphere and world are superb,and the ability to explore 2 parallel worlds in tnadem is fantastic. I played a radiance build for my 1st playthrough,and i'm going for inferno when i play next. And ranged/throwbles the third time. P.S. Any fellow gamers who liked the og 2014 LotF here? I know i did,it's quite...different,to say the least.

Anybody would understand mechanic troubles, lag & jank A whole playthrough, my very 1st one (so it wasn’t “smooth” or anything of course-plenty of time spent on days or moments off) -f-ing CRASH, couldn’t reload it or salvage it from saves at all THAT made sense, far as becoming frustrated w/this game. But then, for plenty it seems-it’s maybe as if they used those issues to suddenly start moaning about “problems” that, I just didn’t understand. Few people complained w/me “uh the level design! The atmosphere-no good!” I’m thinking “WHAT?” atmosphere? They NAILED the atmosphere! The level design was awesome. The atmosphere was more panic inducing than most FROM titles actually. Then-mobs were too hard/too much (I loved the mobs-felt like an incredibly hostile world, absolutely no rest for the protagonist-that felt RIGHT to me -the bosses too easy! (I’ll admit, whoever the 1st “big time gamers” that allegedly pushed the devs on making them easier-mistake. Cause now I wouldn’t mind them tuned up. But even still I love the bosses, most -too much like Souls, this is basically the Twin Princes, this is basically so & so Yeah? That’s a bad thing? They aren’t RIP OFFS but yes, inspired by-that’s no secret anyway. POINT being, this game is awesome & extremely fun. Devs busted their butts (maybe too many patches lol)-which is appreciated. Loved the music, the tension, atmosphere was just dripping it’s so well done, control mechanics are actually better for faster combat. Elden Ring is THE flawed masterpiece-absolutely (though even still, Bloodborne remains king in many ways)-but went back to Elden Ring & I noticed-LotF had REALLY great control set ups. Being able to switch from spells, even diff schools of spells, to projectiles to bows on the fly-awesome. Especially as of now-it plays so good, & this is their 1st swing at this (discounting 2014’s)-they’ll only get better I just didn’t get the arguing either. Hey, it’s not your flavor-cool-but why do you NEED me to hate it so much w/you? Other side of the fence too; hey you really love the game (I did)-great-why MUST you have others love it just like you? Silly arguments, & it felt like a lot of it didn’t come from vet Soulsborne players. Elden Ring brought in ALL KINDS of 1st timers, all around-which is great. But they just didn’t understand the crap those of us that have been since Demon’s Souls PS3 went through. “Why would that NPC move? Why does this cause so & so to leave (the elevator after 1st Skin Stealer was pretty questionable -I’ll admit that) They thought FROM never did things like that-really? Anyone remember Ranni’s frickin quest? Anyone around for Patches & Greirat? How about Demon’s Souls black/white world tendency & finding certain character w/THAT??? Way too much unhinged h8-love the game, imo I MISS the mobs as they were-kept you more than on your toes To each their own-but love this game Lies of P was incredible too-didn’t understand the h8 there either. Wasn’t as much but still plenty. Anyway I loved the experience, they’ll only get better (hopefully)-their only real sin was just releasing it too quick-more time in the oven please But awesome. Glad to see the love coming back around to it
