My on noor’s character is that he isn’t dumb more as isolated. Throughout the show you see get to see his past and he didn’t have friends his age and he constantly consistently trained and lived on his own. His logic makes perfect sense considering parrying wasn’t considered useful. He also doesn’t have any prejudice because of the isolation also he had big imaginary around adventurers overestimating their abilities because of that. I’m sure there’s more but I’ve reach a block in memory I think this anime is a 9/10 only things I would like improved is animation and plot I also think there needs to be more of an explanation for his parrying abilities maybe him meeting a parrying master or something to explain it more since some of the feats are unbelievable from what is told about parrying.

im sorry but i watched the whole show, and, im not into ppl literally miss-interpretting/understand EVERYTHING, like not 1 or 2 but literaly EVERYTHING, every manga/episode, every he get EVERYTHING wrong, like wtf ? it become old VERY fast, definitly for me a "not recommend 3/10" show

My take is that Parry is a show about the story it is telling. That sounds obvious but I mean it in a more meta way. The story Parry tells is pretty stereotypical and trite, one repeated many times over, but the way the story is told is on the surface the same but has moments of insight where it is examining the type of story it is telling. A similar more extreme example of this is Eminence in Shadow which is incredibly goofy but contains a lot of winks and nods to people who are looking at it a little differently.

Cool looking main character in usual world with adventurers, class system and skills, gets the skill to even parry things that do not move (so I don't really understand how the fuck the skill works) and to misinterpret literally every conceiveable situation in the anime so that he looks dumb enough to always see glitters and rainbows everywhere he goes (because the pure hearted main character trope was something we all CRAVED) but smart enough to not get killed right away. No. Wait. Not even that, because, apparently, he's sturdy AF so he can afford to do stupid shit. Generic plot, generic worldbuilding, generic scenaries, generic characters and generic animation. The only odd thing missing was the usual bouncing fanservice, maybe the only thing I'm glad of. So, in the end: refreshing? No. Satisfying and funny? Also no. 6.8 is a fairly generous score all these things considered.

Time can provide distance and perspective on a work of art. It can also highlight how meh a series is. It had a cute dragon daughter with a full McTwisty arc and still easily forgettable. I'd recommend Chillin in Another World with my Level 2 Cheat Skills... The romance is wholesome. It explores afew of the tropes common to Isekai. And while there is no dragon daughter to raise, they help the not harem develop their trades and build up a business.

This is the worst isakai I've ever seen

It is the little things that lift this from mediocre to a great watch. The series came to the decision forks other lottery anime come to but instead of playing it safe take the path less taken. Instead of a 'been there done that' Deku retread, Kafka finds and is valued for his knowledge and experience he brings to the team. Instead of the Black Clover prejudice (no powers = no respect) everyone is on notice that no matter how cool you think you are there is more room to grow. Even the childhood crush/promise takes on added nuance. These aren't big changes but it makes me curious to see what happens next.

7th Loop is a trashy romance disguised as an ok isekai. Rishe previous time loops are hella interesting. The first loops are just her adjusting from disgraced debutante to trademen or alchemist or whatever. That seems leagues more interesting the Fifty Shades of Beige over here. That guy is a dime a dozen. Watch Raeliana or Villainess Taming the Demon Lord and you'll swear they come preset from the factory. Tall, dark and broody, with some barely concealed trauma who just needs a wubby who knows how damaged he really is. I want to see these previous time loops. How did Rishe wind up on the Mulan track? Or the Cinderella track? Did she ever consider killing the Prince? How did that fail? Why does she think this time is her last time and why being bethrothed is her best play? If I did this series, episodes 1-6 would have a B plot of her first loop, then eps 7-12 would be her second loop. Season two would cover lifetimes 3-4 and Season 3 would cover 5 and 6 before concluding with #7.

Yeah, mid is being kind. I think the earlier episodes work, because the MC had plenty of room to grow. He grew into one of the strongest in his generation, then his tribe, then the forest. Once he and the others hit the WALL, there was no where to grow so just have him pork anything with two X chromosomes. (And they really passed on making a Goblin Slayer joke? Sad Face) This is one of these anime where they couldn't work on a second draft, so they can't develop anything. A few 'would have been cool's: There is another tribe of evovled Goblins to rival his. There are significant drawbacks to evolution like it halves your lifespan. The more he evolves the more he attracts females, but he's only focused on the one immune to his charms.

It's enjoyable. That means a lot in my book. it's fun watching Rhys stake her claim and is ever on the lookout for rivals. No harems if she can help it. It's fun watching Flio realize how much Rhys means to him and follows through. Not just beating down the djinn, but telling Rhys the first chance he gets. Its fun watching the Powerpuff paladins sorta give up heroing work to work on the farm. I think the Princess and Ghozal would make a fine power couple, with Flio and Rhys keeping the two halves together. All Team Rocket is missing is a talking animal, so that would be on my wish list for a season 2.

I really enjoyed Season 3 too. I think though Season is better than Season 2 is turning out to be. I really don't like the new girls at all from year 1. I am not a fan of harem anime.
