I absolutely love the idea of mix and match patterns. I've seen it with amigurumi but never with hats. I never swatch for hats either. I rarely if ever swatch for anything, but then again I don't normally make wearables either.

Looks like a great book! I love knitted hats! Just prefer the quicker make time with crochet! 😊😊😊. I use a swatch as a gauge when swapping yarns from what the pattern recommends. I will make a swatch and measure how many stitches per inch and then, knowing the size I want.l, just so the math. (Yes I am a STEM gal but way too old to have been called that! Ha!) Hi Kim - how fun for Buddy .. I also enjoyed hosting Buddy . He loved my chickens and when I took him to church to the Sunday School class I teach - he loved it. My kids in class loved him too . Good idea to add water to the cat food as cats seem to not drink enough . Take care

I love seeing a new book by an author I've seen before. I've never seen either book in person but I love the monsters book! ( probably because it reminds me of Monsters Inc)
