Hey guys, As some know, I'm starting to get a little better at editing. So recently I've experimented with audio bites for redout 2 purposes. And now i think some hyper boost SFX are a bit underwhelming. Let me know what you all think. 8 hypers stand out, but still are overshadowed by other SFX layered on top.

Devil's advocate, I'm thinking that the engines are using some advanced form of ion propulsion, which is why they're so quiet and underwhelming. This could be the reason why the ships work in atmosphere, in water, and in space without having to be re-tuned in some way... maybe

I did buy this one to show support, but it's funny you'd post this since I've been playing Redout 2 today, and going from one to the other (despite the handling differences), this one looks so much less polished. It's a shame, it's not that appealing to me (and then there's the whole F-Zero filiation. I love "sticky" AG racers, but they still come in second to me with regards to more physics-based ones a la Wipeout or Redout).
@@nixneato I like both but idk if you know this…but The Redout Series is made by a team. Xf extreme formula is made….by one person possibly. Cut the creator, or creators some slack, they are a smaller indie game team, and the game isn’t even finished yet. So you’ll never know what’s in store for Xf. Same for Redout 2, dlc isn’t done. They are still working on things behind the scenes.
@@malakaithedemigod Yes I do know that, the guy is from Brazil if I'm not mistaken. And really that's the reason I bought it day 1 :) Even when I'm not a fan 100%, I can tell a great effort, and XF certainly is one, so I really wanted to show my support. Also, I can totally hear it's a personal thing, because really the game is flawless from a gameplay perspective, I've been pretty vocal about that when it first released (even before, when we only had the demo). I really wish the dev the best, and I'll be the first one to point out improvements as they come.

@@deeOOgh you’ll definitely get it done, I’d say any ship can get it done, but I recommend the buran or koen. Why? Koen has great durability but also has best in class stability, and it’s op on origin black hole tracks. You carry speed well with high stability, and hold that speed in turns. Buran, high durability, and thrust, and with a good build it will dominate too, that’s why you see koens and burans leading tt leaderboards. But once again, any ship can perform well will the right build.

How do you like it compared to Redout 2?
@@deeOOgh me personally I like the Redout series better, but this games isn’t behind at all. I love it. It’s technical, and requires skill to play Xf but once you get the controls, you can dominate. This gameplay is like my 4th video of this, and as I post more gameplays you’ll see me progressively improving.

In the speederboard I'm logging everything in, the highest thus far was by NoobMastr in a Behemoth on this track, with a score of 3101 (roughly 17.23 point per second average). Another contender I think people could rock would be Sputnik or Mistral as potential high-scoring areas.

In NFS Most Wanted 2012 (a game that still has a pretty active community) there's no leaderboards outside your friend's list. So the players there would just post their youtube videos when they get a new time. Point is you got a 53.641 in my book!

In the first 50 seconds you learned to use Mario's up smash headbutt as a finishing move and taunt in the middle of the KO. I'm proud of my artist friend exploring smash bros. I wish I could personally train you online in Smash Ultimate.
