Interesting video! One possibility I’ve been thinking about is that the ancient Egyptians might have used rope saws with abrasive sand to cut granite. Using a strong, durable rope (like flax or papyrus) coated with sand containing quartz could have effectively ground through the stone over time. This method would be sustainable and easily scalable, as rope was more abundant than metals like copper or bronze, which would’ve been too valuable to waste on tools that wore out quickly, only probably being used if absolutely necessary. And because it’s flexible, a rope saw could potentially make more intricate cuts without requiring separate tools. Would love to know if there's more evidence supporting this theory!

That's bollocks because of the time line you put on the pyramids being built, what was it one stone cut shaped and placed every minute over 25 years,took you almost that long just to put a scratch on the surface of that block, so does the time line of the pyramids need to be adjusted to fit your cutting technique

The pyramid is essentially compartments filled with rubble. The cut stones make up a small proportion of the total volume. I think its fair to assume some of the volume is made up to some extent by a natural outcrop and that the surrounding area lowered by cutting blocks and rubble for use on higher levels of the construction.
