I Love How This Project Turned Out | Making an Astonishing Table Lamp
In this video, I attempted one of my most complicated projects yet-this one-of-a-kind table lamp crafted from wood, concrete, and a bit of epoxy. The end result is a brilliant piece that combines different textures and materials beautifully.
This project tested my skills and patience. Working on such a detailed project is a great way to refine techniques and practice, while also exploring new methods to enhance efficiency.
This modern table lamp not only illuminates but also adds a touch of elegance to any room. Hmmm, my room. :)
I hope you like it, and feel free to comment with any questions or feedback!

Bummer, no link or mention about the chisel being used to get that texturing. Hopefully it won’t be too hard to find one that can do something similar to that texturing work.
Nicely done!

Hi Apostol, Great table lamp project and I like the video. Have subscribed and will watch more. Regards James One Handed Maker - Australia.
Thanks for the sub! I appreciate it.
Very cool build. Do you have to do anything to seal the concrete, or is it good enough as it comes out of the mold?
Thanks. I rather apply concrete sealer. It adds a bit more protection.
Looks great
Thanks!
Cool idea! Like it!
Thank you! Cheers!
🔥
👍
Me encanta el resultado final. El diseño es súper lindo y con detalles que lo hacen ver elegante. Se vería muy bien en mi sala!
Thanks, appreciate it. Unfortunately, its already claimed :)
This Box Looks very beautiful!! I wonder, if it got cracks because you added the inner parts to keep the top in a perfect position. Actually theese parts would prevent the outer parts from shrinking if they should because of a change of the humidity of the surrounding Air.🤷
Thanks. I am still using it and it looks as good as new. Not cracks so far.
Beautiful work!! Do you know what species the wood is? It looks fantastic.
Thank you.Not 100%sure but I believe it is Robinia.
Super Ergebnis! 😍
Danke :)
great work !
Thanks a lot!
-How many clamps do you have? -Yes.
Not enough, I think.
What did you put on it at 10m45 ?
It's concrete sealer. (Mellerud Stein Platten Versiegelung)

Which kind of finish do you use ?
I used %80 Bondex Hardwood oil mixed with %20 Hard Wax Oil. I am not sure if you can find the brands outside Germany.

Amazing work. What finish do you use?
Thank you! I used %80 Bondex Hardwood oil mixed with %20 Hard Wax Oil. I am not sure if you can find the brands outside Germany.
@@KardamovMakes I believe Bondex is a solvent based oil. Probably similar to teak or tung oils

What finish did you apply?
Check the comment from DogDog173 .
What should I put in such a cool box?
I'd put something that you use quite often then you can have the box somewhere you see every day ;)
I made it for a bottle of wine
this video is awesome bro! Thanks for your channel!
Thanks mate!
Awesome job! Simple yet stunning design. It's refreshing to watch a video about actually build something instead of these UA-cam woodworkers trying to sell you tools. Never once did you have to mention what kind of tools you used to create this beautiful box. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what you use to create your project, what matters is what your project looks like when you're finished. Great video
Thanks for the comment. I agree that the end product is more important than what you use to my it.
how much would you sell something like this - asking cus im a new woodworker and im not sure how to price time consuming projects. thanks. its awesome btw.
Advice I got was the price of materials should be the lostest "labour" cost. As time go on and you have experience, pricing won't be such a problem. Good luck 👍
There are so my different opinions about this topic. I suggest, there are some videos about that topic on UA-cam. Just watch few of them and come up with number that feel good to you.
Beautiful✨
Thank you! 😊
You can never have too many clamps 😁
True!
Or too much glue!
